This place is just down the street from our house and we really enjoy it. They serve their mixed drinks in ball jars and they have a ton of pool tables. It can get pretty loud in there, but they do have several booths & tables for people that are chatting instead.
They have a pretty limited food menu, but the choices are good. We ordered the pretzel bread sticks with our drinks and I liked them okay. Nothing stood out as special, but it’s nice to order a snack or two when you’re drinking and catching up with friends.
The prices weren’t bad and they have daily specials that sometimes include free pool! When the weather is nice there is also outdoor seating. They are definitely worth checking out.

Love Whiskey Bobs! Love the beer and whiskey. Such a nice bar and conveniently located next to the interstate. A very clean environment and fresh bar for Lafayette-​I always enjoy dropping by.

Music was good. Service was terrible. Sat at table for over an hour. No waitress ever came by our table. Too busy catering to their buddies and regulars. Had to walk up to the bar to get beers. Bar was not that busy. Staff just didn’t care.

A-​OK townie bar near the lovely LaQuinta we stayed at for the Avett Bros. show last weekend.
Everything about this bar is average. They will not screw up a bourbon and coke. They will screw up a Vegas shot.
Above average were the lively patrons that enjoyed the rap music we played for them.

A decent place for a drink if you’re just pulling off the highway and don’t want to drive into town. Prices are fair and the drinks are good. Kind of a blah atmosphere, but I was there when the place was empty.
