I was talked into this place by my sister and brother-in-law. They had never been here either and was going by what they’ve heard from others. Let’s just say I can make my own pizza which would have been 10 times better. And I’m not really a Pizza fan, but I know a good Pizza when I see one. The shrimp and chicken pizza I ordered you could hardly see the shrimp or the chicken… and Where’s the cheese??? I’m used to picking up a slice of pizza and have the cheese all ooey & gooey cheesy goodness, this wasn’t it. I’d rather go to Lance’s Pizza. Who is Lance, you ask? Hell if I know, but I’m sure his Pizza is better than this place. The pizza was not only dry but crispy and over cooked that the, «so-called cheese,» that was on there dried up. I never asked for a thin crust pizza, and where the heck is the sauce. Even at Domino’s and Pizza Hut, hell Tony’s box pizza, you can see the sauce… and the cheese. The shrimp was not even petite shrimp. I could have gone to a grocery store a day had gotten shrimp bigger than what was on this pizza. When I saw shrimp Pizza, I’m thinking at least a medium sized shrimp. My mother basically had a Pizza FULL of vegetables. No cheese, no sauce, thin crust. The waitress«Claims, that cheese is on the pizzas but if you want to see the cheese you’d have to ask for extra cheese… which is like $ 1.00 extra. WTH??? So I guess with the over cooked, thin crust, no cheese, no sauce pizza… um yeah… No Comment. The cheesy bread had more cheese on it and was doughyer than the actual pizza itself. Just give me the REALLY cheesy bread let me have the pizza/marinara sauce and the shrimp chicken and let me make my own. I guarantee that it’ll be a. better garlic cheesy bread than the«Pizza.»

This is what I call some good, Cajun style pizza. The prices are not the most affordable, and it’s guaranteed that even if you sit right away you will wait a long time for your food(takes 30 minutes for your pizza from order time to compilation), but it is so worth it. The pizza is thin crust and comes with a variety of toppings. I got the meat-eater which comes with hamburger meat, pepperoni, Canadian bacon(which I didn’t get), chicken, and breakfast bacon. This is sooo delicious! The best part about waiting so long for the pizza to come is that it’s guaranteed to be hot and fresh. This is a Lafayette staple, and I can definitely see why! Also, the customer service is great as well. I am a frequent visitor and plan to continue to come back.

We decided to stop here after spending the day in town shooting our family Christmas pictures, as we walked in and sat down, our waitress was pretty taken aback by my pizza order for myself, the order for my wife and sister in law was a normal order, but for me I ordered their meat lover pizza, but instead of pizza sauce I wanted mustard lightly spread on the crust. The waitress said that in her 30 years there she had never heard of such a thing and the kitchen crew did a double take as well when they saw the order. I can say that the resulting pizza was excellent and I definitely will cone back when we are back in town, as we come back 3 – 4 times a year to visit my wife’s family. I usually don’t give 5 star reviews, usually 4 star, but the way they allowed me to have pizza made and then the food job they did on it makes it worth that extra star.

I am in Lafayette on business and needed to eat dinner alone. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick. I had the Cajun aloha pizza and it was very good. The small pizza and a starter of cheesy breadsticks was perfect for one person, but then I was also pretty hungry. The menu advised that pizzas require 30 minutes to cook from time of order, and it was pretty close to that by the clock. So I wouldn’t come here if you’re in a hurry, but for a good pizza joint and a sit-down dinner it definitely gets five stars!

Unfortunately, the service(or lack thereof) makes it not worth the trip, regardless of how great the pizza is. I’ve been frequenting this establishment for years and have always received so-so service but always ignored that because the food is great. My fault but this time can’t be excused. An out of town guest & I decided to take our kids. The waitress was pleasant and we ordered on 2 different tickets. Drink refills were not offered but we didn’t complain. The waitress brought out the food for my friend and her kids. We waited as they ate. By the time they finished and were ready to box up their leftovers, my kids and I were still waiting for our orders. There were two large tables behind us(8 – 10 parties each) who arrived AFTERWEPLACEDOURORDERS who were served while we waited for our food. Another waitress came by and we asked where our order was since those who came after us were already eating. The waitress POINTED to one of the tables and told us loudly that those parties were eating«because they had the sense to call ahead». HUH? The pointing and loud declaration got the attention of the parties at both tables and they began to look at us in distaste. The waitress went on to say she didn’t know«how or why» the other table was served before us. She still made no mention of our food, triggering us to ask for a manager. The manager came and made no apologies, only mentioning that he was«in the back» and didn’t see what happened. Still no mention of our food. He told us that he would comp my ticket which was NOTMYGOAL. The waitress then came with my friend’s to-go box and started to explain(LOUDLY, again) about the other table. The pizza came 8 minutes later, COLD. My goal is not comped food, it is HOTFOOD and good service. Never again!!!

Walked in, with hardly anyone in the parking lot. They told us they didn’t have a table for 7 and they didn’t know when they would have one.

This place has the best thin cracker crust pizza that I’ve found. The are generous with there ingredients. The only thing keeping them from being«Five Star», is the service. The were a little slow. 30 minutes to get a pizza and it was early. But it was worth the wait.

Hands down, one of the best pizza places in lafayette. That cracker crust is something pretty amazing. The service could improve but they are friendly.

Not my cup of tea when it comes to pizza. I like a deep crust or thin new york style. Pizza village falls into that homemade pizza crowd I am not a fan of. Also it took over 30 minutes to get our pizza and it wasn’t busy. My pallet may have been poisoned by places like johneys in Shreveport bit this place is not a winner.

The pies here have every inch covered with the topping of your choice. It is popular with the locals, so that is a good sign. The garlic bread with cheese is a great starter. The pizzas are the main attraction, but the salads are also worth a selection as a meal or a starter. If you prefer plain pizzas, you better let them know, because the topics are flowing here.

This is a Lafayette tradition and it is easy to see why. These folks focus is on real ingredients and quality. If you are looking for the mechanized belt, assembly line pizza then this is not the place for you. The kitchen is open and you can see the line of nice pizza ovens lining the wall, waiting to make a magical slice for you to enjoy. I suggest the Landry. The crust is nice a thin and great even reheated at home in the oven.

We love the Landry special, the salads and the muffalattas are my husbands new addiction. All are very tasty! If you go on a weekend night expect a crowd, especially in the fall for/after football games. They do have a good amount of waiting room with seating. We enjoy going for lunch when there is no wait at all. The pizza has a thin cracker crust, so if you are a pan fan(like me) you have been warned! But even I have grown to love this style of pizza, so give it a try! The salads are large, with more ham, cheese, and olives than lettuce! Slathered with ranch its a treat to defeat! They also have poboys, spagetti, and hot wings on the menu but we always go for the pizza and salads!

Alright – if you are a fan of thin-crust pizza(which I am), then Pizza Village has fantastic pizza. Their toppings are never bland and they have excellent salads to boot. Buuuut… service is generally mediocre to terrible and it takes FOREVER to receive your order. Imagine your tolerance for emotional eruptions when you order something and 35 minutes later the wrong something arrives with a barely mumbled apology for messing up your order. Are you able to keep your invective in check? If so, check this place out. Heed my warning: prepare yourself to endure the service with the patience of Job. Your glass will probably not be refilled as often as you would like; your waiter or waitress will not appear as often as you like. But the pizza will arrive hot and will be great. Don’t go to Pizza Village if you like to be pampered; go if you like a tasty thin-crust pizza.

Sime of the best pizza in Lafayette, no question. The pizza with thin, but crispy. The toppings that I got, pepperoni and hamburger, were fresh and tasted great on the pizza. With nice service, a nice and casual atmosphere, head to pizza village for the Italian classic!!!

This is the BEST pizza I have ever had!!! I am a CA girl & my husband is a Lafayette native…& when we come«home» once a year for Festival we eat as much Pizza Village as we possibly can! We ALWAYS get the Dupe special & the house house salad! YUM!!! This pizza is sooooo good that even though we live 1,200 miles away I contemplate driving to Lafayette just to satisfy my cravings!
