Get the spinach salad with the orange pistachio dressing. TRUST ME. Best salad I’ve ever had.
The manicotti was actually a meatless lasagna but NO ONE WAS COMPLAINING BC IT WAS THE BOMB DOT COM!!! It had crispy edges and the cheese was bubbling on top– and the flavor? POW! BAM! Awesome.
I also ordered the ginger specialty cocktail with no Sprite and it was delightful. Very light and refreshing.
The tuna appetizer TASTED DEELISH. My only small recommendation would be to serve the cooked tuna on a bed of rice or croûton. The beans added a tad bit textural oddity. They may have just needed a rinse but they seemed slimy. Don’t get me wrong— I literally licked the plate bc the tastes were on point.
I’ll be back FOR SURE.

The location of this restaurant is great and i assume thats the only reason people continue to dine here. My husband and I came here with our then 5 month old son, and i ordered the cajun pasta and when it arrived it had a bunch of pickeled jalapeños which to me was odd, also the taste just wasnt satisfactory so i asked if i could replace it with a lasagna (i have never sent back food in my life but my husband urged me to send it back) and the waitress told me it would take a while to cook, i told her that was fine. Then the chef came out and stressed to me how long it would take to prepare. I found this really strange like why is the chef coming out here pressuring me about lasagna? He left the table and about 5 mins later my son became fussy and we decided to just grab the check and leave. I tell the waitress and the chef returns to our table saying the lasagna is done already. HOW!!! They kept pushing me that this meal would take 30 mins to prepare and 5mins later its ready?
The service was awful. The food tasted like nooked food. Warm on the outside cold on the inside. Just save yourself the money and the stress.

On par with the other terrible pizza around here. Dough was undercooked and tasteless. Toppings were not fresh, same sausage as what you get on frozen pizzas. Subs were below average cuz the bread/​dough was terrible. So overpriced it’s shocking. Hate writing bad reviews but I’m trying to save others from making the same mistake I did.
If your going to charge those prices you gotta put out a better product.

Wow! Been here a couple of times and just had to say something. My bf introduced me to the Romacelli special pizza add shrimp… sooo awesome, bunch of amazing veggies plus shrimp! Can’t go wrong!!! We usually get a side salads and a couple of cocktails. Today I picked it up for carry out and also ordered the spinach and artichoke dip… prally the best we have ever had!!! Definitely a MUST try! Looking forward to trying new stuff on the menu! Thanks to Doyle for the REFRESHING cocktail!

Romacelli has delicious food, but that can be said for many places in Lafayette. What really stands out to me is their excellent customer service. One employee in particular has always gone above and beyond, and tonight he surpassed himself. Doyle noticed that tonight’s marinara sauce contained onions, when it usually does not. Even though it was the end of his shift, and the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes, he came to us to give us the opportunity to change our order. His genuine concern for our satisfaction has ensured that Romacelli will be at the top of my list for grabbing a bite to eat. Thank you so much, Doyle. You really made our night!

You can’t go wrong at Romacelli! For Lunch today my husband had a Chicken Parmesan sub, I had the meatball sub and we shared a side of bacon Mac ‘n cheese. The servings were ample and we happily packed a to go box for home. Everything was delicious.
A friend absolutely loves the mushroom soup here, unfortunately they did not have it today. I will be back to try it!

Whenever I’m craving spaghetti and meatballs… THIS is the place to go! I don’t know what it is about the way they season or prepare it, but it’s literally the best in the city… and I know this for a facts because I tried other spaghetti and meatball meals from much more «high-​class» restaurants (i.e., Marcello’s), and Romacelli STILL has the best spaghetti and meatballs.
This place is also located in River Ranch and a lot of the rich locals always come here and sit outside and socialize. It’s a pretty popular place. The food is really good, and the price is anywhere between $ 12.00 — $ 30.00.
However, I would avoid coming here for the lunch menu. Although the prices are cheaper (by not much though), the portion sizes are about ¼ the size of the lunch portion. You’re basically eating a kids meal if you order from the lunch menu. It was uncalled for!

Came back. New menu. Good. Came on half price bottle of wine night — Wednesday — sooo sorry out of one of the two bottles of Pinot Grigio– manager –vendors fault, late delivery, blah, blah… – correct answer – MY FAULT!! – next time bottle on the house. Nothing like 12 year olds running a restaurant. Save your money…

The food changes every time we go there and it is usually very good. Yet this time the food HORRIBLE! I will not be planning to go back again.

I’ve been here maybe 6 times in the past year or so and I have really enjoyed it every time I’ve been. Everything I’ve ordered has been delicious, I haven’t eaten anything from here that I didn’t like. The lemon drop martini is WONDERFUL, and the spinach artichoke dip is one of my favorites also. The dip comes warm with a little cheese on top and is served with some really nice bread for dipping. All of the employees I’ve encountered have been very nice and make you feel good about eating there.
I’ve read some of the negative reviews from other Unilocalers from almost a year ago and currently those statements are false. This is one of my favorite restaurants and I really can’t think of anything negative to say about them.
They did change the menus a few months back and still make an old menu item for my friend when we go, very accommodating and wiling to make customers happy.
I plan to bring family and friends here when they visit from out of town. Very good food, reasonable prices and a nice quiet atmosphere.

Went back a few days ago with some friends for lunch and decided to sit at the bar. Doyle, the bartender, is WONDERFUL! He’s really good at what he does and made our visit!

Food was excellent. Service was pathetic.
Hummus with fresh bread, Roma bread both delicious appetizers. Pizza and sandwiches good. They can do bread. Full bar. Service not experienced or attentive. Had to bus a table after after waiting 10 minutes to be seated. Ask for water. Missed one of party order. Spilled half of salad with no apologies.

The food it great but it is the Bartendar, Doyle and the rest of the staff that makes you feel so welcomed.

«Came for pizza and left with full bellies». It was a nice, intimate restaurant but also great for family gatherings. After a long drive from Houston back to Baton Rouge, we needed to stop for dinner before the final stretch of our drive. We were craving pizza! So, we ordered the large combination-​style pizza. The pizza was made to order, so it did take a hot minute for it to come out. In addition to pizza, I was craving something with a vinegar base, so I ordered a caprese side salad. Once our food came, we dove right in to the pizza! This was some of the best pizza I have had in a very long time! Romacelli’s is situated in a lovely plaza area across from The Lab Coffee Shop… one of my favorites! If you are in the Lafayette area looking for a scrumptious pizza place with a lovely ambiance, this restaurant is aimed to please!

Overall just ok. The pizzas are basically pieces of card board with ketchup on them. The other dishes are mushy and bland. Like a few others stated a lot of the food is super salty. The sandwiches are the only thing that is really great.
The staff at the RR location are top notch, very friendly and helpful.
They seem to be adding a frat house singer outside singing tunes, it’s always been more annoying than cool. It’s usually just loud enough to make having conversation difficult. Though they occasionally have a girl playing light piano and that is much better and fits the atmosphere.
Overall a decent place, nothing earth shattering.

Ordered a Turkish Flatbread and got a Burnt Turkish Flatbread after that got one with Raw meat on top so I’m not happy at all!

I used to really enjoy visiting Romacelli with friends and having the hummus and pita appetizer and a bottle of wine. I also would bring family in town to Romacelli because it’s close to where I live and in a nice location with a good view of the neighborhood. The food is a bit salty and flavorless however. The pizza is too salty and the salad I ordered on a different occasion was a bowl full of lettuce with one, tomato, one olive, and a piece of tuna that tasted old.
I wish Romacelli served better food – we would be there all the time. For now, I enjoy it as a place to enjoy a glass of wine outside.

What a cute little place! Very homey and nicely decorated inside. Came here with a friend for dinner, where there are outdoor and indoor seating options. We sat inside because it was too humid out (what else is new).
Chose to share the Cajun Chicken Pasta and the Combo Pizza. The Cajun Chicken Pasta was VERY delicious!!! I give it 5 stars. Quality reminded me of pasta from the Cheesecake Factory, of which they have none here in Lafayette. Sad face.
The Combo Pizza was your average meat lover’s pizza and it had excellent cheese! I didn’t notice until I packed the remaining slices for lunch the next day and after heating it, the cheese was still able to melt and become very stringy. I enjoy mozzarella cheese you can bite into and have it string out to a good distance. He he.
All in all, I would come here again.

Took my girlfriend’s cousin here for her 7^th birthday for lunch last week while we were in town. The house Mediterranean salad & the Pizza (we had pepperoni, artichoke, and spinach) were delicious, the service was outstanding. They made the 7 year old feel special and they lady that took care of us really catered to her. I will definitely stop by here again when I am in town.

We placed a group order for a working lunch function last week and the food was great! We were able to call it in the night before, pick it up on time as scheduled, and they even broke up the bill into individual sales. (We had a group order of about 13). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Food is always good and fresh.
