This review is based on nostalgia only, as I grew up with this place. I still love the breadsticks and jalapeño cheese. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza still make me remember coming here post-Purdue games. I will always and forever love this place.

Now there are imitators of pizza kings beautiful creation on the concept of pizza. But I have to say that I have had pizza all over the country as well as other countries, and it is by far my most favorite pizza of all time. I’m not trying to say it’s the best in the world because there are many types and tastes in pizza. But if you are in the Lafayette area and you think you are a pizza connoisseur then you need to try pizza king pizza

Got take out a few nights ago. Large pizza and 2 pizza king salads. I will have to say the pizza was just awful, around half the pizza the crust was a little thicker and thinner on the other side. The cheese or something tasted terrible. The salads were big and you got plenty for one person salads were a lot better than the pizza. Also had a $ 10 gift card and with one large pizza and 2 salads the bill was almost 25 bucks after gift card. Was a little pricey for the bad pizza. We have decided we are sticking with arnis!!!

Pizza king is very similar to Arni’s which I also love but the sauce at Pizza King is a little different and what makes it my personal favorite. I usually only get cheese pizza at restaurants but the tiny pepperoni that they use make it my favorite. I now live in Chicago and have gotten used to deep dish but Pizza King’s thin crust will forever be a personal favorite.

This post is based on nostalgia. But I came here throughout my childhood. I may have perhaps had better pizza since, but this is what I remember of home. Plus the train still delivers drinks. Sadly over time the video games were lost and much of the attraction died out, but I still wander back for stromboli(not a real stromboli, more a sub) and pizza when I am in town.

Just expected more. Pizza was OK, but I’m not a fan. I’m not from Indiana so maybe that’s the problem as many of my Indiana friends love this place.

Maybe I’m spoiled when it comes to pizza as I’m from Chicago, but if you like your pizza to taste like a cracker with ketchup and dog food on it, go to pizza king. The crust look a week old, the sauce was gross, the cheese appeared translucent and the sausage looked like dog food. I ate one piece and physically couldn’t stomach the rest, it’s just that disgusting. I don’t understand how this place is in business; it’s more expensive than low-quality chains like little ceaser’, but it’s pizza is so much grosser than even cheaper places. Do not go here under any circumstances!

My husband worked at Pizza King(in Indiana) as a teenager. He’s been addicted to their style of Pizza ever since. They’ve been doing a thin crust pizza RIGHT for at least twenty years. We have Sir Pizza in TN(which is franchised by Pizza King), but unless you are in Murfreesboro, TN, it’s not quite the same. I don’t even LIKE fast food, but a good pizza from PIZZAKING tastes sooo good. It’s pizza at it’s crispy, crunchy BEST! Plus, if you’re in Lafayette, IN – they have your drinks served to you on a model train that comes to your table. How Fun! Also, your table has personal cable TV for you. It’s a great experience for the whole family! YUMMYYUMMYGOODFOOD!!!

The staff was very nice — the model trains were cool. I wish I could give them a better review but the pizza was absolutely horrible!!! Tasted like toasted cardboard with barely cooked cheese!(and I mean barely — it was just hardly warm) oh lord I wish i could get those 16 dollars back.

If the supervisor of this particular restaurant was a little more pleasant and had a better attitude, I would recommend this place to friends but won’t. Why? Because I walked in to pick up my order, his attitude stunk and was not friendly or professional in any way or form. If you work in the service industry, customer service and a positive customer interaction is what brings customers back. If you don’t like your job or having a bad day that is no excuse for that type of behavior. Give away your job to someone else more deserving with a better attitude in customer service. Douchebag.

Pizza here is the thing. Love the pepperoni and onion, the cheese and mushroom, or the deluxe. Always fast and friendly, and usually clean stores. The thin crust they use is delicious. there’s the right amount of greasiness without worrying me about getting a heart attack. leftovers are amazing. garlic bread is a good side(so many delicious carbs!) i’ve heard tell the salads are good as well. Strombolis are a good choice if you’re on your own for lunch and don’t want to eat a whole pizza(like i do…) and there’s a little train at this location that delivers your drinks to you :) and pictures of the town that are like 20 years ago.

I personally like Pizza King pizza better than Arni’s. Great for carry out or eat in and let the train bring your drinks to you.

This is pretty much my favorite pizza joint. Good menu, coin operated tv, and you get your drinks delivered by train. Simple, fun, and tasty.

This is by far my favorite pizza king. I try to sit in the room with the train when I go here. Totally cute way to serve drinks and they have pics from Lafayette from the 80’s as scenery. It makes me feel like a kid again. Love the shredded pepperoni that they use for their pizzas.
