Freetown Farmers’ Market

Open Wed from 2−6pm and Sat. from 10am-​2pm.
A great little market. They generally have vegetables, pre-​made foods, kombucha, and beauty supplies like soap and sunscreen. They sometimes have eggs, chicken, and beef. Well worth stopping by if you’re in that part of town on a Wednesday afternoon.

You really have to be looking for this Farmers’ Market but once you find it you’ll be very happy with the top quality food & products. Great organic produce, fantastic breads, jams, and even unique stuff like Tabasco quail eggs. Bayou Farms is there sometimes with great chicken and there’s even a guy who does great handmade ceramics. If you’re in Lafayette, check it out and buy direct from the people who put their heart and soul into what they make.
