This is finally a good deli, better than it ever has been. Izenberg’s, at this location, used to have horrible décor; but a fantastic Reuben. Everything else was kind of middle of the road, and the the food got really bad in the last few years of their run. I was excited when Hymie’s took over that it would improve, but I think it may have actually been worse. They also didn’t remodel the interior, which was a nightmare. I saw the Moe’s sign outside and decided to give it one more chance. The waitresses are still a little brash, but attentive. It still has no windows whatsoever, but they’ve done a lot with the place to make it pleasant inside. All the soups are great, fresh roasted meats are very good, and the fresh made fries and chips are excellent. There are lots of good hoagie shops/Italian delis in this area. A good Jewish deli is badly needed, and the newest owners are doing it better here than anyone else has in this location. If they’d just bump up the meat in that Reuben to orginal Izenberg’s size, I’d be here a few times a week. If they made it a Ben and Irv’s replica Reuben, I’d be here so often, you’d have to roll me out the door.

Wow, they really turned this place around. I haven’t been here in years, since it used to have spartan décor and insipid food. It looks like they just did a major renovation, and the space is really nice now. Moe’s is a Jewish deli that specializes in breakfast(traditional American, as wells as smoked fish platters) and deli foods. The décor is now quite modern with well matched plush booths, modern-style pendulum lighting, highly saturated paint colors on the walls with stenciled in quotations. Very nice vibe. The crowd seems to consist of regulars who the staff know by name and are very friendly to. We found staff to be pleasant, and they seemed to enjoy working there. I went with the Jewish hoagie, which was delicious. It was pretty much just like an Italian hoagie, except the meats were pastrami, corned beef, and roast beef. My wife got the eggs and corned beef hash, and she enjoyed it. Good food, inexpensive, nice staff. Would come back.

Since Moe’s has been rehabed, the place looks better and is more inviting and also is much cleaner. It’s good for a quick sandwich and soup and typical deli food, I have never had breakfast here, but I understand they get a nice breakfast crowd. I go during the week sometime for a quick meal and that works well for me. I see some people ordering hot platters and they look good too.

Service strongly lacking, after waiting 1hr for order still not served & service staff elsewhere, left with company of 2. They could not care less.

Moe’s has been re-opened for almost a year. Tel. 610−825-MOES The owner, Ted, is friendly and super-accommodating. Their food is excellent and very inexpensive. For example, they have extremely tender and tasty pastrami(ask for the Sheiman’s, not the extra-lean) and great bagels.

When I moved to the area, this was Izenberg’s, which was gross. Then the deli experts, the Barsons, took over to make it Hymies Too. Sharing the name from their deli in Merion. When the Barson’s pulled the plug, it should have been clear to be that this locale has been cursed by the Deli gods. A shame nobody told Moe. Breakfast yesterday was far from a treat. The whole restaurant smells like a mop bucket. The coffee is lousy. Getting a refill of lousy coffee is a challenge, as well. The inexperienced and sloppy waitresses clearly have the manager wrapped around their finger, and since he doesn’t know what he’s doing, the service suffers. I went there a few weeks ago to get some deli for take out and I was almost sold rotten cheese right out of the counter. If I hadn’t asked for a sample, I would have been serving it! It takes more than a business license to run a successful deli. This location is so much more convenience for locals than heading to Merion or elsewhere for deli. For that reason, I expect it to hang on for a while, but I’d stay away.
