Fantastic. Very large portions, excellent food. Quick service. Priced well. I ordered the hobo skillet. With a side of biscuits and grovy. This lived up to all the photos on this page. Will definitely return. I like the diversity of menu options. So many home cooked favorites available. Nice neighborhood find.

We were told to check this local favorite out earlier in the year and made our first stop in August, sometime outrageously late after a graduation ceremony, and knew we’d definitely pit stop here if we were ever out that late again. Instead of waiting for the next midnight food run, we’ve opted to drop in here at decent daytime hours when we want to go somewhere that serves breakfast at all hours and always enjoy the easy going environment and homey comfort food. Definitely a 5 star for the tostada omelette and the hobo skillet — both perfect options for those savory cravings. Inexpensive price points, ultra casual setting and plenty of upfront parking.

I would say if your wanting to go to a family diner this is the PERECT place for that. Corky’s is the perfect family diner, it has great family friendly menu as well as kids and senior menus. They do have a $ 2.00 coupon online if you go to their website. They have a large variety of food choices. Breakfast is served 24 hours a day, or you can choose anything from, Hamburgers to Pasta and Sandwiches to Fish and Chips to Shepard Pie to Cake and Pie for Desert Watch out you better come hungry … Most of their food is larger then average sized, one pancake is as big as a large dinner plate and you get 2 – 3 in an order. I’m giving 4 stars because not always have our large groups enjoyed some of the deserts, mostly the individual pies, maybe the bigger pies would be better as I see some good reviews . Corky’s also offers a Dog Friendly outdoor patio for those who like to bring their fur baby out for a fun day or while traveling.

Corky’s is a great little neighborhood diner. It’s nothing fancy but does the job. Never been for any meal other than breakfast. Portions are HUGE. It’s very kid friendly and I think they allow dogs if you sit on the patio. I’ve always had great service here.

Restaurant service not great. The entrance needs to be blocked off from the tables. Makes for a cold dinner if you sit anywhere near the door.

Tasty & hearty & super classic breakfast. Open 24hr’s. I ordered Blueberry pancake combo. Came w/2HUGE& I mean HUGE grande pancakes &2 eggs & bacon or sausage. Average prices. Service was good. It was after 11pm & it was a full house. Food made fresh. Located in strip mall parking lot. Lots of parking & tons on the menu. Their dessert menu looks good too. Milk shakes & ice cream & pies ready made to take out. Yep it’s a must! Just do it.

They give you big portions, too big perhaps. If you like to eat a lot this place is for you. However, the food is middle of the road. Its not bad, but not the best. Its open almost all the time though, so I would compare to a place such as Denny’s. Probably a popular place for kids, and difficult to get seated on Saturday and Sundays but I guess that’s pretty standard in Orange County.

I have been here for dinner and breakfast and it is an ok place. Almost like buffet quality food and really bland I guess i have been spoiled by so many good restaurants that this place really doesn’t stand out for my taste. Sorry I go here when I have no other choice which is rare!

This is the go-to place for the fam when we are either in the mood for homestyle American food or just want to get out of the house. Food-wise, it is not bad at all for the price you are getting it for. One important piece of advice to heed is that the portions are HUGE. This is legit American food at it’s finest, so unless you have the appetite of a bear I suggest you share it with at least one other person. At least. The fam and I(4 people total) typically share two dinner entrees and still have leftovers to spare. While not as flavorful as other American food joints, but then again i’m not entirely partial to American food, it’s decent food. Definitely will fill you up. I suggest trying the fried chicken at least once; my dad raves about it and I think it’s pretty good(the breading isn’t incredibly greasy/oily and the chicken isn’t dry at all). Other entrees I recommend include the pot roast, fish and chips, the hobo skillet, and the turkey and stuffing. The mashed potatoes and gravy are WONDERFUL and come with just about every dinner meal. However, I have to say that the meatloaf is pretty salty and the shepherd’s pie bland. Another piece of advice is that if you hit the dinner rush or go on a Friday/weekend night, it will be PACKED. Service will be slower than usual and thus the food may not be as great as it would be any other day. I remember getting fried chicken once when the restaurant was completely filled and cutting it open only to find it slightly undercooked in some areas. Thankfully, the service is very polite and in that instance we received a new plate of chicken as compensation plus a free dessert. Also, while the pies are raved about I didn’t find them that good. A bit bland and devoid of the crispness/flavor that other pie-serving places have. The cookies, on the other hand, are amazing! To sum up, while not the best American food restaurant you’ll go to, you’ll leave with a belly full of pretty good food and a pleasant feel for the place.

Came here early on a Sunday morning with my girlfriend for a quick breakfast before I headed back home. It was not too busy so we were seated immediately. Our waitress was very friendly but did not check up on us as much as she should have and took a little long bringing out our drinks. I ordered the hobo skillet no meat. It was a large plate and I could only finish about half of it. The potatoes were yummy but the vegetables were a bit undercooked. My girlfriend got the french toast and I had a couple bites of it, enjoying it more than my own meal. Upon leaving, I left my keys at the booth and one of the waiters saw and brought them to me which I thought was very nice. Overall not a bad place but something to really rave about. Friendly staff though.

I’ve been a handful of times and it’s just never been more than average. More often than not it’s way below average though. Today we were served lukewarm food while we waited for my 3 year old son’s food. By the time we were able to stop entertaining him and eat our food, it was cold. The corn dog they sent out(late) for my son wasn’t even cooked, the dough was still batter on the inside. I know that stuff happens and every kitchen has a bad day but this was pretty bad. Spent $ 40 on a meal that no one enjoyed eating.

Fabulous homemade food like grandma used to make. Had French toast, sausage, and eggs. French toast had wonderful cinnamon in it. Excellent. Person with me had party melt and French fries. It looked wonderful too. This is the type of restaurant where I could eat every meal for a year and not get tired of food. Even the chocolate pie was very good.

Based on my experience today: I sent this to their customer service people: Hello, I came in today with a $ 5 off $ 20 coupon which I received via email from the local Shop & Dine Ladera Ranch company. They have over the past years sent an email as well as dropped off coupon books at our office. When I printed the coupon today(just like I have for many other Ladera businesses inlcuding Which Wich, Forte, Juice It up) and went to pick up my order the cashier said the manager would not accept it because it was printed and not the one cut from the coupon book. It’s a bit confusing as it is the SAME coupon from the SAME company. I was very disappointed as I come to Corky’s every week, this is my first experience using a coupon here and it was not a good. one. I suggest contacting Shop and Dine to be removed from the email list if you do not intend on honoring the printed coupons. On another note: Steak fries w ranch are so good! Tried the chicken tortilla soup, was filled w yummy veggies but the chicken was a little dry. Good flavor! BLT was good, the bacon a bit too salty. Waitresses are very nice.

Been here for brunch and late night dinner. I like there homemade fried chicken plate for dinner and of course for breakfast I had the Bacon and Cheese Omelette with Spinach. Corn beef hash is also good, very hard to find places with less on the hash and more on the beef. Overall experience is great!

Corky’s is the true embodiment of customer service. I was looking for a pumpkin pie with graham cracker crust. I called everyone(Marie Calendars, Coco’s, Carrows and a few bakeries). No one had the pie with graham crust. Not one place would even contemplate making me a special pie. Flat out no! I want to thank Corky’s who offered to make me the pie with no extra charge. They called me the next day to insure me it was done and we loved it!!! To the staff and bakers of Corky’s thank you so much for going above and beyond for your customers. Their food is amazing you must try their skillet breakfasts. THEBEST!!!

An All-American dining classic ambiance. Cozy. Welcoming. Staff is attentive and friendly. Can’t velieve I’ve passed this gem everyday after work last few several years and first time we’ve visited. not only was the restaurant packed when we entered, but the menu has a ton of selections too. All the diner deliciousness you could possibly be craving. We even left the place with a lemon meringue pie I couldn’t wait to dig into. I know where we are getting our holiday pies this Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Came at 04:30 on a Monday, so I had my pick of seating. Was greeted warmly by the server, Art, who also made the excellent recommendation for corned beef hash. The iced tea hadn’t been made yet, so he brewed a fresh batch. Food came out in a timely manner. Toast was the picture of perfect toast, with a relatively diverse selection of jams and jellies(blackberry jam or apple-cinnamon jelly anyone?) Corned beef hash was delicious, flavorful, and had that lovely griddle-crust. It was rather salty, probably because it was mostly corned beef and almost no potatoes, but that made it the perfect bite with the unsalted scrambled eggs. Portions are generous. I came famished, but finally admitted defeat and left food on the plate. Restaurant itself is decorated like a homey country kitchen, appropriately enough. Chairs, booths, tables seem in good condition. Kitchen is partially open. They’re running a promotion in September where they donate to a children’s Hospital for every cookie purchased. The server and I started chatting right away as if we were old buddies. It was really nice to experience such warmth and service in this era(and area) of aloofness and scripted conversarion. Grandma Corky would be proud.

Packed for breakfast! Make sure you come early! Had to wait a few minutes because we had our dog with us. Ordered the hobo skillet which was actually very good. They top the hashbrowns with the eggs but surprisingly, the hashbrowns were perfect. There was a lot of meat and veggies and cheese— deff huge portion. My brother and I shared it but we had leftovers. We also ordered a side of onions strings. Came out a bit too salty so we sent them back and the 2nd batch was perfect. Service was spotty but decent. They did bring water for my dog. I also want to mention that I have ordered the breakfast burrito here before and so far that was my favorite from their menu. Super huge and super tasty.
