It’s unfortunate to say that when geekiness is the prime reason to go to a game stop, and you don’t find it, you almost feel like the soul of the experience is missing. It’s not just about going to a store to buy games, you can do thy anywhere! You want to connect with like minded people, to know that the other end, the seller, is on the same wavelength. Unfortunately this is not the case. I went into the store on two different occasions and when speaking to an employee, wasn’t even looked at from his diligent table watching. Another time I tried to explain a more complicated scenario and its process of how I needed their help, I was cut off multiple times and couldn’t finish my sentence. Instead I was told how that couldn’t happen and was brushed off as if I was speaking Klingon! I will not be returning for anything since I was made to feel more like an idiot walking out instead of like an Amiibro or the more common game geek. With so many store options, if you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and workers who could be mistaken for a stoked customer, this is not the place.
