New Sushi & Teriyaki

never had a bad plate here. Very fresh, hot, fast service. Can’t go wrong.

Food was quickly prepared and delivered to us. Friendly staff, food was typical teriyaki fair neither overly WOW nor unappetising. The sushi wasn’t too bad but they tend to let tables linger needing to be cleared away when diners leave even when they aren’t busy. Overall it’s a decent place to get averagely good food but nothing stellar out of the norm.

Tried this place out tonight after reading the reviews. It didn’t disappoint at all. I had the sesame chicken /​chicken dinner plate and the portions were huge! The service was excellent great atmosphere, great prices and very generous portions I would definitely recommend if you want great teriyaki and or great Chinese food

The spicy chicken teriyaki and generals chicken is super good and full of flavor. Huge portions! My husband and I could have shared! Will be back!

Best wonton soup in town, also great fresh roll. My go-​to place for take out or dine in.

Super tasty food, my husband and I have eaten here a few times and we have never been disappointed. I’ve also had their sushi on 2 different occasions and it was so good! Their customer service could be better that’s why I only gave 4 stars. We ate in once now we always order take out.

The chicken has too much fat on it and rice is unappetizing. The pricing is decent but the staff aren’t too friendly. Wouldn’t come back here.

I really love the food here, BUT the customer service is crap… The male owner is so rude and can’t wait to get rid of the customers, at least of myself… He’s rude, talks back and makes customers seem like they are a bother… He’s always rolling his eyes. My customer experiences have been horrible, so I prefer to order take out or drive else where. I rarely come here anymore because I’d prefer to spend my money else where with better customer service.
The lady is nicer and so is her son.
But if I pull up and see her husband around I’ll walk away and go else where. I really dislike the man but I don’t make or break their business, they seem pretty busy during rushes.
Anyhow, the food is great I love it. The portions are amazing, can just about split any dish. The chicken always taste amazing.
The sushi is good I always get the Cali Roll. The bento box gives great variety and plenty of food.
Just call in your take outs, you’ll be less of a hassle for the owners and won’t have to deal with their bad attitude.

Excellent food, prices, and cleanliness. The single star is for customer service. My food sat on the counter while I waited for almost 20 minutes. They need better coordination out front. Very little communication with customers and they seemed almost upset at being there. I actually left the food there and walked out. I won’t go back. Soryu (sp?) is right across the street. They have excellent food and customer service.

Love the food. I’m a regular. I’ve tried a lot of dishes. The Bento box is great and so are the spring rolls.

Went here with my girlfriend and we both ordered bento boxes. She had Chicken Teriyaki and I had Beef Teriyaki. They serve Miso soup as an appetizer while you’re waiting for your food and it was one of the best miso soups I’ve had. The teriyaki is amazing!!! Sushi is great as well. Great environment for kids as well! We will be back when we are in town!

I’ve been ignoring the horrible customer service for a while because my kids love the teriyaki and spicy chicken. After the glares we received tonight when we walked in, we will not be returning. The woman at the counter seemed put out that we were placing an order to go at 8:30. They close at 9. We will find a place where they can actually make good sushi and wear a smile. If you can’t give good customer service, don’t get into the business.

This is my boyfriend and I’s go to stop when we are in Lacey. We love the mongolian beef, teriyaki chicken, and general tsos chicken. We also get the california roll or the eel roll. Simply delicious. Amazing staff as well.

Went here for the first time today. Read some other reviews and decided to try it. My wife got the chicken teriyaki. I tried a bite and it was mighty tasty. I got a bento box and asked if they would put some General Tzo in it. They were nice enough to oblige because they weren’t that busy! It wasn’t that spicy but it had good flavor. Plus, the wait wasn’t that long for take out. We will definitely be going back there again!

I stopped in for a quick bite. I ordered a bento box with beef. If I had slowed down and read the menu, I would have realized that the beef was teriyaki. I’m not a fan of teriyaki — I just don’t like sweet soy sauce drizzled over beef. In this case, there was a lot of sauce. However, the beef was tender. The tempura vegetables were good and the California roll was what you would expect. The salad had too much dressing, but overall this place met my expectations. The portions are large, and you could probably split some of the dishes on the menu.

This place is always good. Love the spicy chicken bowl for lunch. Inexpensive and is still enough food for 2! Clean, fast if you’re on a break. The wok dishes are great. Best teriyaki place in the area.

This place we return to for take out only, & we do so often. It is not, for us, a place to go & sit down in. There is no ambiance, it’s like sitting in a fast food establishment. And judging from all the people walking in & out with take-​out & the phone constantly ringing placing orders, this is where they do the majority of their business. It’s located in a bad spot for parking as well. They share a parking lot with so many close businesses & Hop Jack’s, which is always packed. Just to be clear though, this place is also always busy, but it’s the to go traffic. Sometimes you have to park across the street to pick up your order. But it’s worth it.
We usually order the bento boxes, having a teenage son, he can eat a lot! And for us it’s nice to have left overs for lunch the next day. The bento boxes are far & away the best value. You get soooo much food & there are so many choices of bento box combinations.
Personally I don’t care for their sushi. I’ve tried a handful of their rolls, on different occasions, the only one I like is the California roll (you get that with the bento box), the others just didn’t have the flavor I prefer at other places like Koibitos, Sushi-​Go-​Round, or Sushi House. But my husband likes it ok.
Their chicken is moist & not over cooked & it’s not drowning in teriyaki sauce. The tempura is perfect, not too heavy. The California roll is always fresh. It’s a good place for a quick, I-don’t-have-to-cook-tonight meal. The entire family always loves it. They are quick as well. The place is very clean & friendly.

When I come to town I make this restaurant a priority. No where else compares for tofu teriyaki!
