Ordered take out soups and lasagna, 2 children meals and was ready in 10 minutes. The best food ever for a house full of kids a sick nursing Mom, the soup hit the spot to give her the much energy she needed. Awesome take out service!

From the outside, I would’ve never guessed what a nice restaurant this was. The food was delicious and the ambiance was very modern and cozy. Being stuck at home on maternity leave, my gf brought over lunch from here. I was so surprised at how good the food was. Ordered to go tonight for me, the husband and lunches for him to take to work tomorrow. Bistecca con Marsala– very tender and comes with al dente spaghetti. Eggplant Pomodoro– Good amount of cheese. Calamari Fritti– kinda sad looking. Sliced too thin for my preference and not enough sauce. I love the bread here. Crisp exterior and soft interior. I wish there was more sauce to dip it in. Along with 2 pollo marsalas, total bill was $ 82 with tax.

Good service and the bread mound they give you at the start of the meal is super delicious. Their pastas are good too.

An excellent choice when craving Italian food. Although it isn’t the cheapest option locally, you do receive far better quality ingredients coupled with friendly service. I would recommend a visit for your next night out

We love this place. Living in big bear we are always looking for unique restaurants that we are deprived of in our home town and this is one of our favorites. Staff is always on point, restaurant and décor are very inviting but the food is the real attraction.

Really good Italian food with lots of sauces and cheese. Ask your server for his/her favorite dish. Good service.

I’ve passed my this place so many times. Thank goodness for Unilocal or else I would have never found it! This place has great tasting Italian food and the complimentary bread is to die for! Me and the entire family enjoyed our meals I can’t wait to go back and try a different item on the menu!

I was really rather disappointed… I was expecting more flavor! I think the best thing out of all the plates we ordered. was the House Bread and the Pizza! All 3 spaghetti plates we ordered were rather bland, they all tasted the same and should have tasted dramatically different. They all tasted so much the same I can’t tell you all 3 different names. I was really let down by this spot especially for the price of each plate! I think the spaghetti and meatballs was 15 bucks. and it was not worth it at all. The Pizza was a simple pepperoni pizza and it was perfect. If I ever come back to this spot I will only be sticking to the pizza… Totally heart broken.

The meatball sandwich I had was very good. Had the soup as opposed to the fries as a side. I am not sure I would do that again. The soup came in a tea cup. A little disappointed since it did have some good flavor, I think. Did not really have enough to tell for sure.

I went into the restaurant today and had a good experience. The food was good as always and our waiter was very nice. The owner went out of his way to greet us and say thank you for coming. I still won’t order my favorite pizza pizza because it ends up being $ 17 but I did enjoy my experience there today.

This is a quaint Italian restaurant in a standard suburb plaza. Seating is ample and perfect for large gatherings. My boyfriend and I were promptly seated at 7:45 pm on a Sunday evening. The house bread is probably one of the best things on the menu, second to the house soup. Just wish the house soup that came with the pasta was slightly bigger. I ordered a pasta dish with butternut squash and walnuts in a creamy sauce($ 16). It was creamy but bland. Even a little bit of salt didn’t help to enhance the flavor. I’ve had other butternut squash pasta dishes, but this one for some reason seemed to be lacking in a major ingredient – not sure what. My boyfriend ordered an olive oil & garlic pasta dish with angel hair($ 15) which he loved, but he also likes anything with angel hair. I’m sure if I gave him a bowl of plain angel hair noodles, he would think it was absolutely wonderful. Service was fast and friendly and the aura was perfect for a date night, but for me, the food just didn’t measure up.

Thanks Unilocalers! We certainly enjoyed the meals there. We ordered«Spaghetti with Meat Balls», «Angel Hair with Marinara», «Ravioli», and«Rustica Soup and Mediterranean Salad». A cannoli for a desert. Salad had too much dressing on it but rest of the meals were great. For some people, it may be too much portion but for Pasta Monster(my daughter) was very satisfied with them. The soup was excellent! My cannoli monster(my fiancé) said they have by far the best cannoli in the area. We will definitely try the place again.

We made a reservation to celebrate a family members birthday day. We should have know from that first call this would not be a good experience. Over priced Italian, poor service $ 3.00 for oil and vinegar. Your really should scrutinize your bill. My daughter and I sat together with another family member. I placed my order and made it very clear to the waiter the bill should include my order and my daughter only. I had lasagna not drink water only, my daughter had kids pasta and a soda. My bill was $ 34.34. I did not receive an itemized bill and I should have asked for one, that was my mistake. I called the next day to verify pricing the gentleman that answered the phone said he would have the manager call me back. The next day I followed up. I spoke to the manager and she said to be «I told the girl that placed the reservation that we don’t like large parties because there I always a problem» WOW, who turns down business. Asked for a break down of the cost of my meal and she would not provide it to me. She told me if you bill is high you need to take it up with your family member to get your money back. There are plenty of other great places to spend your hard earned money.

Summary: Great quality, nice environment, decent portions. Service was friendly. So why the three stars only? 1) value could be better(i.e. $ 10 for bruschetta, $ 8 for cannolli), 2) flavors weren’t amazing, 3) no Chianti, 4) poor«wine» glasses, 5) milk served in a coffee mug instead of a glass. My father, wife, aunt, and I went here for lunch on a Saturday. The prices appeared to be the dinner menu prices and there were no lunch specials or anything, but the restaurant looked nice and had a pleasant rustiness to it. My aunt ordered a milk and it was delivered in a coffee mug for some reason, my wife ordered a Chianti and they didn’t have any because it was«popular,» so she ended up getting a Chardonnay that was delivered in a cup instead of a wine glass. Not a great start. Soon we ordered. I got the Spaghetti Bolognese, which was good but the Ragu was kind of runny and wasn’t plentiful enough. My wife got the shrimp with Angel Hair pasta, which was good, but nothing particularly impressive. My Dad ordered the beef stew, which was really tender and actually had a rather large portion of stew and vegetables. My aunt, who has many food sensitivities, ordered fettuccine alfredo after inquiring about ingredients and preparations to ensure that she wouldn’t have an allergic reaction(which she ended up having anyways). We also ordered the bruschetta, which was different from what we were used to because of the beans and red onions. The total bill came to $ 87 before tax, which seems really high for the amount of food that was ordered. It was good, but not enough to warrant the extra price either. After the reaction my aunt had, we won’t be able to return either.

My husband and I shared the soup and a meatball sandwich The soup come in a medium size bowl, very tasty. Reminded me of a nice home made soup my mom used to make. Priced at $ 9… A bit overpriced. The meatball sandwich was average… Two large meatballs in a 6″ roll for $ 12… Mmmm pricy! The service was great!

I’ve tried other dishes since my first visit and I must say it’s not getting better. The lasagna and the spaghetti are the best dishes I’ve had. The paninis or sandwhich a are nothing but disappointing. I tried the Rustica, meatball, and a grilled chicken one and all of them are marginal. Also I keep making the mistake of getting the fries that come with it, I just rather eat more bread instead.

Two and a half stars, rounded up to three. This restaurant is a B. The food is pretty good, not great. The service is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. There are better options in Claremont however, such as Eddie’s and La Parolaccia. Our fried calamari consisted of very thin rings, like they came from a frozen package. The spaghetti had good flavor, and the pasta had a good chew to it. The tortellini was drowning in Alfredo sauce and cheese. You could have thrown in two dozen more tortellini and still have enough sauce. The clam chowder was tasty, though in the salty side. Service was good and the food came out quickly. It wasn’t too crowded on a Friday night and the restaurant has lots of seating.

My parents took me here because they were saying how good it was. Since we weren’t hungry, we ordered the salmon with vodka sauce and fettuccine, a salad, a pizza, and a cup of soup. They also had complementary bread in the beginning, which was apparently their signature. I thought the bread was pretty good, and the soups were pretty good. They weren’t too salty or loaded with MSG. When the food came, I tried a bit of everything. The salad was pretty good since it had figs in it, and the pizza was also good, since the crust was thin and crispy. I thought the fettuccine was alright though, nothing too special. I didn’t think their fettuccine itself was that right. The sauce was pretty good though. Overall, I thought it was a little expensive for the quantity, but the quality is there. The food also wasn’t too salty, so that was good. Our waiter was great though, which made the dining experience even better.
