Jon is great! Came to this place for the first time early 2015 because it was close by & had good reviews. I rescued baby red ear slider turtles & Jon has been so helpful every step of the way with all of my questions & being honest about what I actually need & don’t need & never just tries to get the sale, he actually cares about his customers & the health of their animals & all of the ones in his store. Great selection & variety & im always more willing to buy from the small business over the «big guys»

This is a great local mom and pop shop. I always come here when I’m looking for fish I can’t find at your local pet store. It’s also the only local place I can find good driftwood and fresh water plants for an amazing price. The owner has even sold me small pieces of wood that were in the tanks. His prices are very competitive and I’ve never had an issue with the stuff I’ve purchased. He also asks about your tank, etc. Definitely a repeat customers.

For fish this place has s great selection

John, who owns the shop, is great! He helped me set up a tank of tropical fish, guiding my choices, coming to my home to set it up, and keeps it clean when I call him for service. All at very reasonable prices! I enjoy my hobby of tropical fish without hassle, thanks to John. Stewart Gordon

Been shopping here for years. The service and selection is excellent. Jon has helped me become a good freshwater aquarist. Anytime I have a problem with one of my fish at home he is always willing to give advice to help improve my aquariums. I have bought Platies, Mollies, Tetras, Guppies, Cory Catfish, Angel, Gourami, Pleco, Otocinclus, Shrimp and Zebra Danios here and there are still many more varieties and assorted species to try. The store is well stocked with freshwater fish, but they also keep saltwater fish, hamsters, reptiles and birds. It’s good to support a local small business where there is quality and good attention to the customer.

The best fish shop in town! Almost all my fish in my 2 tanks are from here.
Inside the place there is a few rows of fish, and an area for rocks, fish food, and a few animal supplies. In one area they have birds, reptiles, and a few pets like mice.
There are 3 rows of freshwater, and 1 row of saltwater. Some of them are very rare indeed. There’s one area that has used supplies like tanks, saltwater filters and a few other things.
They also have things like crickets and super-​worms. The owner is very nice for sure.
This place is a ma and pa shop. It has been here for years. I’m very surprised how long the have been in business.
Almost all fish are very healthy looking and pretty looking.

Disappointing and depressing. The extra star is for variety, but the quality of the fish is very poor. Most of the large cichlids looked very unhealthy ie sitting at the bottom of the tank, not moving etc. All the fresh water was cloudy, without exception, and the filters probably get cleaned very rarely if at all. The living conditions for the terrestrial animals was rancid and depressing as well. Seemed like the owner doesn’t really care about the health and happiness of the fish/​animals, as long as there’s profit. My guess would be that if you buy your fish here, they will likely die shortly after.

This place is great. The owner is very knowledgeable. Easy to talk to and has lots of great aquatic life. I have been getting fish from him for years and have never purchased a diseased or sick fish from him. I give this shop two thumbs up!

This place is nice and clean, good prices on food and fishes. I cam here a few times to buy some fishes for my tank and they were cheap. I also bought a turtle a cheap price as well. Better than going to petco or petsmart for those types of things.
