I come here all the time because it’s across the street from my school. They have really good sandwiches and coffe!

Been coming here for a while and I’m just not impress with their drinks or food. Prices are decent and the variety is vast. Coffee and tea drinks are okay. Hot chocolate can be better. The boba needs major help! Talk about hard inedible boba!

I got the green tea smoothie. a bit too icy to be a smoothie but I’m not complaining. The green tea flavor is barely there, which I don’t really like because I am a green tea fan. It strangely has a strong taste of honey. For the taste 4 stars because I don’t mind the honey taste, but 1 star as a green tea smoothie. The atmosphere is nice. It’s a nice place to study. I’m probably going to come here during my class gaps.

I am what you might call a «regular» at Coffee Berry. I have been reading all the good reviews and they are correct, it is a great place. I always kid them when I come in and they have three of the guy regulars sitting at the bar, «it is the place where everyone knows your name.» For the young people out there, they won’t recognize the reference, but it is from the TV Show Cheers, that went off the air years ago. Everything they serve is really good and everyone is really nice. I even asked Annie, co-owner of Coffee Berry, if I could get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. She didn’t know what that was because she is from China. I told her what to put in it and she made me the sandwich. It is a special place and I go there every day even though I could get something a little cheaper at Circle K. It just isn’t as good and I enjoy talking to the employees.

I went into this place expecting it to be great(because of reviews I read on here) and it was anything but that. When I walked in there were only two other people in line, so I figured it wouldn’t be long ’til I got to order. Well, the problem was that CoffeeBerry only had one employee working in the entire shop, so I had to wait for him to make every drink and sandwich before I could order. When the time to order finally came I ordered their house roast coffee and I’ve gotta say it was in the top three worst cups of coffee I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t even finish it, I’m not exaggerating. I threw it out, went home, and brewed myself a cup of joe from the Kuerig. I’m never coming here again, and you shouldn’t either.

Great place to grab a fresh cup of coffee. Their smoothies are to die for. I would always get their strawberry smoothie with boba — it’s my addiction. Awesome staff. Super nice and friendly. It’s a cute shop and has free wifi. Also, they have punch cards and if you purchase 10 drinks, you’ll get the 11th for free. Hope it helps.

Chicken salad recently becomes my favorite in this store. With bunch of vegi and high quality chicken. Best choice when you are on diet.

I was going to order from the restaurant next door but it with the car show it was way too long. So I decided to just grab coffee from this small coffee shop and noticed they also had sandwiches. Perfect, quick and easy and a short line. When I walked in it appears to be run by a family. The dad took my order quickly and his daughter or employee rang me up. I ordered the blended mocha and a cheese avocado panini with pasta salad. My mocha was finished before I knew it. It tasted similar to coffee beans blended mocha which I love. The panini took a little bit longer even though there was no one in front of me. I was parked in a 15 minute spot and I felt like she was going at snail pace making a sandwich. With that said, I probably just wouldn’t go here in a hurry or park in a limited parking time spot. As for the sandwich and pasta salad. It was good. I liked the herb butter they put on it when they were grilling it.

Asked for a machiatto over ice and apparently I misspoke coffee language because the employee rudely told me how he couldn’t do what I wanted. After we figured it out, he then told me that I will be up all night and I better be «careful» in his continuing rude tone. Yeah, I know I drink this daily but thanks for advice. :/ Other than that, coffee is good, fresh, and affordable. The other thing, he didn’t do the non fat milk that I asked for. I sound like I am being nitpicky, I know, but just thought I would throw this out there. The other girl was pretty sweet to me and understanding. She’s the reason for the 3 stars.

Holy Moses this place is a Trifecta for the following reasons: — Wi-Fi — Outdoor seating with an outlet — The fact that I don’t need to choose between a coffee place or a boba place. Damnit if I want a Black Eye(Two shots into a cup of coffee) on ice with Boba, then I order it! It goes without saying that I am really productive here, second only to the library across the street. I am looking forward to trying thier noodle and rice bowls because of the quality of everything else, including service. If you insist on ghetto, there’s always the Circle K next door. But if you’re looking for cozy-chillax, then look no further. Coffeeberry is the proverbial«Home away from home.»

My favorite lunch spot, and my favorite coffee place. I go to ULV, and finding somewhere to eat that’s fast and relatively cheap is important during those long days, especially for a commuter. This place has so many options, which other reviewers have stated, that make it the perfect place for each occasion. The light snacks are great for morning or between classes, the light meals go well in between classes, and the bigger meals are good for a long lunch or dinner. I adore the Java Chip, I get it every time. I like coffee drinks, but I don’t like the overpowering coffee flavor that some drinks have, so this is perfect for that taste of coffee and chocolate, without being overwhelmed. The staff is amazing. They seem relaxed and they speak to you like people, instead of just customers, and you can have actual conversations with them. It’s a great environment to be in. You can spend hours there reading or on the computer while eating and it feels comfortable. Not very important, but also a plus is the adorable name!

Nice environment. Walking into the coffee berry definitely gives you a really great vibe. They have a pretty authentic store front and casual patio seating. What I enjoyed was watching the barista prepare my café Au lait while being able to chat with him while doing so. The coffee is for sure quality, which you can definitely expect from small coffee shops like this. I didn’t get a chance to try anything besides the coffee but I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area. Cheers!

I love Coffeeberry. Free Wifi, A lot of seating indoor and outdoor, Staff that makes you feel like family, and most importantly delicious food and beverage. The simplicity and honesty of this place is striking, and it is a home away from home for a college student. The perfect place for a group project, a break from school work, or a midday pick me up. Some of my favorites include the white mocha, the thai tea, and the cappuccino. Additionally the panini with pasta salads are a staple. Quality coffee, quality service. Note: I am a Starbucks employee, and I probably spend just as much time and money here than at Starbucks.

This place is pretty chill. Owned by an older Taiwanese couple, this coffee shops has your traditional coffee and tea drinks one would expect in a coffee shops, along with sandwiches, paninis, pasta salad, bagels, etc. However, they also have Asian noodles, Thai tea, and boba. So that’s kinda cool. Staff is super friendly. I forget the gentleman’s name I chatted with today, but at one point I was the only customer, and he just stood and talked with me while I ate my panini and drank my Mexican coke from the bottle(weakness). The girl’s name is Cece and she’s straight up super friendly, always making conversation and joking around. I’ve been in twice, and both times I had great service, and the food and drinks were great(although the second time it was a bottled soda, to be fair). I don’t understand the low star ratings — it’s a small coffee shop with oftentimes two employees — no, your drinks aren’t going to come up lightning fast. But then again, life is too short as it is. Relax. Not everything in life has to be super fast. It’s good to take a moment or two to unwind, and just enjoy the moment. I should mention they roast their own coffee beans here — how cool is that? Major points for that. If you’re in La Verne, and you’re looking for a good Mom & Pop coffee shop, take a few moments, and pop your head into Coffeeberry. You can thank me later.

As a student at the University of La Verne is this my go to coffee spot above Starbucks or Coffeebean. First of all they roast their own beans here, and it smells and tastes amazing. The service is great, and the staff is awesome. Now remember this is a smaller mom and pop style places, so if you’re looking for that quick team of people behind the counter like at starbucks, to whip out 10 drinks in a few mins, this is not the place. If there is a line, there is usually only one person making drinks, so be patient. It’s totally worth the wait. That being said, it isn’t about the speed, and this place still deserves the 5 stars in my opinion because of the service, and quality of their coffee, and food.

Small coffee shop in downtown La Verne(is there even such a thing?). I was having lunch across the way at Pappas Artisanal and was so tired that I needed a coffee afterwards. I was pretty stoked to find out my medium iced coffee was only $ 1.80 here! That is nearly unheard of especially coming from places in Pasadena &DTLA where iced coffee is close to $ 5. These guys roast their own beans(the machine is within view) so extra points for that. They have other things besides coffee as well — some boba drinks, tea, food. The guy who helped me was really nice and it was nice to see that they kept the milk/cream/half & half refrigerated instead of sitting outside for hours. Iced coffee was great! I would definitely come back if I was in the area. Finding this makes me pretty sad that there isn’t an independent coffee shop near me.

Boba was cooked well, I actually liked it(I’m very picky about my boba). I ordered the green tea slush and to my delight it was actually pretty good. This place is very quiet, no one was there when I arrived or left. Prices are fair and I feel I got my money’s worth. The employee that was working there was very kind, and we shared small talk. There is a minimum credit card fee and the close a little early, 8PM. My main point is, that I would come back here again!
