If you are looking for an unreliable, disorganized company, this is the place for you! It’s pretty simple jbikes. I run the credit card and in exchange you provide the bike(s) that I purchased. This procedure seems to be a very difficult task for jbikes and I was giving the run around about their inventory. First they said they had the bike, then they didn’t, then they did. Same story to be told about the other bike I ordered. I heard there is a book that just came out that I would recommend to jbikes. Title is: How To Sell Bike For Dummies.

They sold us a bike that they recommended was similar to the one we wanted and when we got the box it was the wrong bike. They will not even exchange it for us. We feel like all they care about is selling the bike but not customer service or customer satisfaction. Very sad.

Johnny provided great service and was extremely helpful. There was no pressure and lots of bikes and combinations to chose from. I initially found this shop off Unilocal based upon prior reviews. The drive for us was a little far but for the price of the bike and the service it was worth the drive

*This company is now in Ontario. Bought a women 7 speed cruiser. Positive: 5 stars on function. Handles well and is ergonomic. Front sales person and back repair person deserve 5 stars as well for great customer service. Negative: they need to post on their website a disclaimer that price doesn’t include assembly of $ 35. I didn’t know this until I arrived at the warehouse. Aesthetic: scuff marks on front rim and front fork. Small showroom and small selection of about 30 bikes instead of the 300+ that they advertise.

Last year, I bought a bike from JBikes. While I was there, the workers were very respectful and courteous. They answered all my questions and even gave me an amazing discount. It’s my go to place if I ever need to buy a bike. Other bike stores I’ve been too have all had problems, such as rude workers or less than satisfactory bikes. JBikes doesn’t have any of these problems. I recommend this place to all my friends.

I too read a lot of negative comments on JBikes. My son had bought a bike from here recently, so I like to go where it’s kinda familiar. My daughter needed a bike so off we went. Got there early on a weekday, so we just waited for them to open, and went in when they did. It’s kinda a cut and dry place, they need some music going to brighten the mood. The lady was very helpful, she has a nice smile, she just needs to use it more. The first bike my daughter sat on the rear reflector broke off, that’s okay stuff happens. They don’t allow test rides, so that’s a bummer. Basically you see you buy, and go from there. Once we found one, they put the pedals on, asked questions about warranty, and off we went. Overall it’s a good place to purchase a bike, and I will be back to buy one more. It was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it. Thanks J bikes, my daughter loves her cruiser.

I was looking for a beach cruiser for my daughter for her birthday. They had an excellent selection online and in their warehouse. Also, I had a few questions before I ordered the bike online. They got back to me promptly by email and phone. We paid the extra to have the bike assembled there($ 25-). The bike was ready for us the day we scheduled to pick it up. It is darling, my daughter was thrilled and their prices, selection, and service were excellent!

I give Jbikes(and Danny’s comment) FIVESTARS!!! They’ve been in business since 2006 but have only received a few negative reviews over the net — big deal. If I am looking to buy stylin’ looking bikes at near wholesale pricing, I don’t expect them to roll out the red carpet upon my arrival either. I think alot of customers walk into a store nowadays and expect to be treated like royalty when they don’t want to pay full price for anything. Offer them a discount on top of already the discounted price and instead of being appreciative, they also want a free bike lock, a free basket, a free bell, and«how about throwing in a free basket liner, by the way?»… Try walking into Wal-mart and see if you’ll get away with getting any«free items» along with one of their crappy bike that is going to fall apart within months. I am great friends with many people who are in the bicycle business and they all have had experiences where far too many times, customers are not willing to pay an additional $ 20 or so for assembly service, and when they run into problems while assembling the bikes themselves, they claim it is a «manufacturers’ defect» and expect to have the entire bike replaced. Sorry, the only thing to be in defect is their wallet since they’re never willing to open it. :shrug: But, that’s only my own opinion. I wish I could’ve read David R.‘s response to Danny’s comment because I probably would’ve laughed my butt off. Who goes on Unilocal to complain about not being greeted at a store? I go into Jbikes all the time and they always welcome me with open arms. Maybe it is because they can feel my awesomeness. AND I smell good. Yes. Jbikes is as good as it gets!
