Discount Tire Store – La Porte, TX

At around 5:45, I hit a pothole and had my tire shredded. As a man with a 8 – 5 job, it’s very difficult to find time to get to a repair place on usual hours, and as such I was desperate to get the repair work done that day when I was off. It took me time to get the spare on my car, and I called ahead asking when they closed. Sadly, they sat 6:00. I pleaded if there was any way I could get in, and lo and behold, when I arrived they were all locked up to head home. However, as soon as they saw me, they immediately opened the doors up to see if they could help me– sure enough, at the last second of the day, they opened up their shop to get me situated with a new tire after hours.
Always with a professional staff and extremely accommodating to their customers, this is DEFINITELY the best place to go to for tires, and I’ll always be coming back.

Best, absolute best location ever! We’ve been here numerous times, with every vehicle we’ve had for the last 10 years at least, though we’ve used Discount Tire for much longer.
The managers and employees at this location are always friendly, and as a woman, I’ve never felt uncomfortable taking my cars in without my husband, as in so many other places.
My husband took our oldest daughter in this evening — as a single mom, she is on a very limited budget, and she was planning on replacing only 2 tires on her car for now. One of the employees (Robert Green), examined her tires and agreed with her dad that none of her tires were safe for her to be driving on. He was able to find her two used tires (they look new to me!), and he gave them to her with her two tires that she purchased.
Typical of this company, and this location — going above and beyond all expectations for their customer’s safety and satisfaction.

They gave my mom a great deal on the tires she bought for me. I love this place. They are very friendly, offer great, fast service, and are affordable!

Quick professional service! I was in and out with a new tire and rotation in less than a half hour… it was a weekday though around 4 pm.
