Traditional delicious Waffle House food but sit in Big Mamas section if you can. She makes the atmosphere! Super friendly, helpful and amazing!

We just stopped by here on our way back to Baton Rouge from Nola, and it was everything that I love about Waffle House. Cheap, tasty food with fast and friendly service. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and only paid $ 20 including tip. Can’t beat that!

Food was good, and the service was great! I can’t give 5 stars because the place was very dirty. Food and other stuff all over and under things. They just kept wiping it all on the floor, it doesn’t hurt to pick up a broom. I won’t go to this particular place again, I will however visit another Waffle House.

I will always remember, for the rest of my life, that this was the absolute worst dining experience I have ever had. I watched my waitress drop food on the floor and put it back on the dish, ask about her tip, had my plate sitting on the counter for 20 min until the final topping was added and then finally served, there were bugs on the floor, and i watched employees argue. Yes, its Waffle House, and not a 5 Star Restaurant, however, this will always be the worst dining experience I have ever had.

This waffle house is dirty, slow, and the food is below average. It is poorly operated. A clean sweep is needed in order for it to have a chance for success.

Waffle House is ALWAYS on our itinerary whenever we are in the South. After decades of enjoying their pecan waffles, we’ve finally been disappointed. In our pecan waffles there were no pecans more than an inch from the center of the waffles. And no pecans scattered on top. You ate a normal waffle until your last few bites when you got the pecan treat in the center. Sorry, but if pecan prices are high, either raise your price or stop claiming to serve pecan waffles. Henceforth we won’t bother crossing the road to get to a Waffle House. Another piece of Americana bites the dust. Friendly attentive service, as always.

This is the only sit down restaurant we found as we drove down the LaPlace exit. We were seated by an employee that was actually about to start eating her meal in the dining room. A bit awkward. felt like we were interrupting her meal. There really should be a rule where employees dine out of sight. My honest opinion. Anyways service was prompt. Our waitress took our order and was pleasant. It did seem to take longer than we thought it should be since the place was empty. But then we overheard that someone had called in to place a $ 40 takeout order so that must’ve been what was holding things up. Food was fine and typical of your breakfast place. I had scrambled eggs, toast and hash browns. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick meal that is sit down then this is your place. Nothing fancy but it will fill you up and definitely not break the bank!

I love Waffle House. This one is horrible. Check out the picture of my unsweetened tea(it is clear). To be fair all of the Waffle Houses in Baton Rouge are horrible as well. I have yet to have an unsweetened ice tea that did not taste like it was a week old, or had an omelet that was not extremely greasy(not fluffy like they are in other locations).

Classic waffle house experience. You sit and wait for a table. Then you sit and wait for your food order to be placed & prepared. Then you pay & leave. Easy Peasy!!!

These waffles and hashbrowns are really the bomb. The best place that I ate in Louisiana was at the waffle house! And it’s pretty cheap too. Yay for waffle house. Holla.
