Starbucks

Came here today. Ordered a Mint Majesty tea. Constantly had to have my order corrected. I kindly asked for the tea bag not to be put inside the tea cup paper container. At last, he did the opposite of what was kindly asked. I asked him not to put the bag in the cup. At the same time, there was a customer near by being rude and disrespectful referring his conversation about me.

This closed and built a new starbuck across the street and included a drive thru, gees check thw adress

3 stars for the huge Starbucks with lots of seating and the great baristas. However, I’m not a fan of their parking. There isn’t enough spaces for such a huge Starbucks. Since it’s a drive through and depending on where you park, you will have the probability to wait forever to leave because the line of cars wraps around the parking lot.
However, I did love my Iced Carmel Macchiato :) :)

I come to this Starbucks pretty often. Usually anywhere from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and I go through the drive– thru. The same guy is usually there between those hours and he’s always really friendly. My coffee always tastes good too. I always order iced coffee and you would think it should taste pretty similar all the time but it doesn’t. This starbucks is pretty consistent.

I ordered a Hazelnut Frapp and a roasted tomato mozzarella panini it was bomb but the hazelnut Frapp wasn’t even a hazelnut Frapp. It didn’t taste like coffee either so I don’t know why they can’t make it right. I didn’t like the fact that it takes forever threw the drive thru. But they are really friendly which I love But they need to do a lot better!

Thanks for the added traffic on La Mirada! There needs to be laws against the amount and locations of Starbucks!

I ordered a sandwich at the drivethru, I payed and picked up my order. I drove away and when I looked in the bag it looked like someone threw up in the bag. The BBQ pork was not between the two slices of bread. It was in the bag.
The next day I ordered a coffee with cream and one Splenda. When I picked up the coffee the employee just handed me a Splenda. Seems like the employees need to be trained better.

I don’t normally review chain restaurants anymore as they’re usually a get what you expect thing. I’ve been to this location a few times and every time my order is right, but just made awfully.
The first time I ordered an iced caramel macchiato. I’ve ordered this many times and enjoy it when I do. I don’t know if they changed their recipe, but this time it was so unbelievably sweet I couldn’t even drink it.
Then I discovered that you can make drinks fizzy and they have a new strawberry refresher. So I ordered that drink here, the first time it wasn’t even put through the fizz. They charge $.50 for this, otherwise it’d be no big deal.
The second I ordered it, and last time I’ll order from this location, the cup was so full of ice it was tough getting my straw into the cup. This is a $ 5 drink, I would expect to get a drink worth $ 5! Oh, did you know half the refresher is literally plain water added? Are they hurting for money so badly that the cup needs to be filled with ice that much? I doubt it as its always a 10 minute plus wait at this location due to how busy it is.

I don’t know how they are so chipper in the morning but they they really are wonderful and make my morning! I have made a few mistakes in the past with my order and they are so accommodating & understanding. I come here a couple times a week around 6:50am and it really starts the day off right. Thank you to the morning crew especially this morning 8÷6÷15 7am when I had a final to get to. I made a mistake with my order, you fixed it quickly and made sure I had a delicious and healthy breakfast sandwich to fuel me. (Smiles included). On a side note you have also helped me to continue & lose weight with the reduced fat breakfast sandwich and spinach & feta breakfast wrap. Keep up the good work!

I usually love going to this Starbucks because it has a drive thru and it’s located very close to my workplace but today I ordered a grande iced coffee with extra ice in a venti cup (something I order often at lots of Starbucks) but I got 90% ice and 10% coffee. the point of asking for it in the venti cup was so that I could get the grande sized amount of coffee still): I took like three sips and it was over halfway gone :/

Avoid this place! Parking is a nightmare, service is really bad, drinks are never made the same way and the baristas have an attitude. I have tried this place several times and its official, I really hate this place!

Thumbs down to their ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on a buttery croissant! That was pretty awful and disgusting!
Thumbs up for their mild, mellow blonde roast coffee! Great choice for early morning breakfast!

Pretty big and spacious compared to the Starbucks next to Panera down at Rosecrans. I like studying here BUT be aware:
1) it can get REALLY crowded w/​biola students ESP during finals!
2) its always cold): and the music is a little too loud… Esp if youre trying to study hardcore. Might get a little distracting !
3) the only other thing that might get annoying is that you can HEAR like every blender go on and the coffee making and the ice crushing and all that…
Other than that, SUPER friendly baristas and love the Drive thru portion! Great for students/​anyone that wanna get their coffee grind before classes :)

First off, the internet here is amazing. Okay not household Wi-​Fi «amazing», but it’s pretty damn fast for a Starbucks. I’m here on a Sunday night studying with my girlfriend and we’re both getting 15mbs down (in comparison to the other Starbucks in La Mirada that barely has a functional internet).
Secondly, this place is HUGE, and much larger than their old location right across the street. Plenty of open tables to use.
Overall: Great atmosphere. Chill crowd If you are here to drink coffee and stay a while, this is the Starbucks for you. If not, don’t worry, they also have a drive-​thru. WOOT WOOT. (Caffeine has clearly kicked in)

Awwwww I usually love this place… but I found it really weird that when I asked a simple question when I ordered what seemed to be a popular drink. nobody knew the answer to it! :/
So I went in wanting a smoothie with protein that I looked up and said they serve .i went up and ordered two mango smoothies and asked the cashier if she knew how much protein they add and she said 2 scoops. I said yes but do you know how many grams that is like total… she said she would find out. Went to ask the manager and the manager also didn’t know… and then the manager called Mr. Starbucks and he didn’t know .so I just google it (which i should of just done in the first place) so as they were all still looking for the answer I told them never mind I found it!
Ok so here it is … They put two scoops of protein that equals 16 grams! That’s it! And let me do a quick taste… it’s good I think because of the banana ! So overall I think I will skip this one next time!
FYI the guy that was making my drink was rude because I asked a question that I needed to know ?? Pfffffffff… it’s your job sorry !

I am here everyday during my commute to work & I must say it is the fastest and most consistent drive-​thru! My favorite is the current Monday crew (not sure who’s behind there), but thank you for being so fassst! Ya’ll make my Monday’s easy in the morning :)

I’m going to start out by saying that this Starbucks (SB) location is THE primary spot (besides neighboring Panera Bread) for Biola kids to hang out and study … so don’t be surprised if you find fellow Biolans there! During trips to this SB with my college friend – who was a SB addict – we almost always ran into someone that we knew from the university.
The baristas at this location were pretty friendly and helpful, and though the lines would be long at time, we always received our orders in a reasonable amount of time. Well, mostly my friend would order a drink and I would peruse the various merchandise throughout the store. There always seems to be a steady stream of customers at this location — I can’t remember a time when we walked into this SB and it was empty.
Here’s what I would recommend:
«Double Chocolaty Chip Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème»: Whenever I’m ordering frapps from SB, this one is my go-​to and probably one of my favorites. I don’t get this frapp very often (simply because I don’t visit SB very often), but when I get something sweet, this is usually my choice. It features a creamy blend of rich mocha-​flavored sauce, chocolaty chips, milk and ice and it comes topped with sweetened whipped cream and mocha drizzle. This drink is totally meant for chocoholics — the chocolate taste is definitely strong (until you reach the bottom of the cup and it’s more watered-​down). I love mixing the mocha-​flavored sauce in my drink and adding some of the chocolate powder to achieve a more chocolaty taste. But what makes this drink spectacular is the generous amount of chocolate chips studded throughout, which provide a welcome crunch. I always enjoy every single sip of this drink when I do order it.
«Java Chip Frappuccino Blended Coffee»: Though the «Double Chocolaty Chip» is my go-​to when it comes to frapps, when I need a boost of caffeine, I’ll switch things up and order the «Java Chip.» The two drinks are pretty similar because they both feature a rich mocha-​flavored sauce blended with milk, chocolate chips and ice, but this drink includes coffee and is topped off with a chocolate-​flavored drizzle. I loved the chocolate-​mocha blend and this drink was sufficient in giving me the extra boost of energy I need for the day. Again, gotta love that extra crunch and texture from the ground-​up chocolate chips.
«Iced Caramel Macchiato»: This «Caramel Macchiato» was one of my college friend’s favorite drinks. I’ve heard it ordered many times while I was in line at SB, so I know it’s pretty popular. It features espresso combined with vanilla-​flavored syrup, milk and caramel sauce over ice. Though I like caramel better when paired with chocolate, I probably would end up ordering this popular drink during some future SB visit, just to try it. I know it’s on the sweeter side, and I would opt for soy milk (and perhaps ask for a drizzle of chocolate).
«Cinnamon Dolce Latte»: I love all things cinnamon, and I’m sure this drink would be a winner based on its fragrance alone! It features espresso with steamed milk and cinnamon dolce flavored syrup, and it comes topped with sweetened whipped cream and cinnamon dolce topping. I can just imagine that this drink is like a Cinnabon in liquid form. I definitely want to try this fragrant drink on a cold day … when I’m craving the spices and sweet taste of cinnamon.
«Iced Hazelnut Macchiato»: If I want a hazelnut drink that’s cold (as opposed to the hot version), this drink would be my go-​to. It features espresso combined with vanilla-​flavored syrup, milk and hazelnut sauce over ice. I love the smell and taste of Nutella, so I’m thinking that this iced drink would remind me of that since it features a distinct hazelnut flavor.
«Mocha Frappuccino Blended Coffee»: I’ve never expanded outside of the frapp category, but I do want to try one of SB’s blended drinks one day. This one sounds like it’s right up my alley, as it features coffee with rich mocha-​flavored sauce blended with milk and ice. It actually sounds pretty similar to the «Java Chip» Frappuccino, but without the chocolate chips. I’m sure I’d like it if I ever tried it.
«Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème»: When I want a more traditional, simplistic drink and I’m craving vanilla, this option sounds absolutely perfect. I love the sweet and creamy taste of vanilla bean, and that’s what I would get when it comes to this drink.
«Chestnut Praline Frappuccino Blended Coffee»: Basically the cold version of the seasonal latte, this drink features flavors of caramelized chestnuts and spices blended with Frappuccino Roast coffee, milk and ice, and it’s topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs. Though I can imagine that the hot version of this praline latte is good, I’m definitely open to trying the iced version as well.

There were TWO major issues I had this morning at this location.
1: The drive thru situation sucks. If you come in off of La Mirada Blvd., you can wind up getting backed up onto the street. People coming in from the other side also try and snake their way in.
2. My order was wrong this morning. I ask for a soy hot chocolate, and was given regular. The co worker that it is for can’t have dairy, so she got sick.
Nice work.

I’m so glad they opened up this Starbucks! It’s much bigger than the old one across the street and there are plenty of tables for studying. The tables are spread apart spaciously, so you don’t feel crammed when sitting down. There is also a drive-​thru!

Coffee was fine, the service is so unprofessional and rude.
Right in front of customers they’ll just talk about other employees and who’s getting fired and who has a problem with who and what not. I stood there for five minutes waiting for my bagel as they chattered on before one of them said
«are you waiting for food or something like that?» I said yes, my bagel. He just replied to his employee telling him to put it in the toaster. There were no lines and they just forgot about my order because they were so engrossed in gossip.
Convenient location but I will gladly go out of my way for a cup of coffee after this.
