My boyfriend brought me here for a quick bite to eat in the morning and it was delicious! I’m a super picky eater so I’m not really for trying new places but I’m so glad I did. I ordered the aćai bowl and that itself was amazing! The next time I went I got a strawberry lemonade(they come in cute mason jars) and an everything croissant which was SO delicious I definitely recommend this place

Ok food, ok coffee, horrible service. You walk in, greeted with the most blunted face you have ever encountered, and as you proceed to order from the most monotone voice ever to speak, you are faced with nothing; literally, nothing: hollow eyes, no social reciprocity, and absolutely no joy in providing service. And if you dare ask a question in this never ending rabbit hole of poor customer service, you will find short answers, the continuous echo of the same monotone voice… But now with a somewhat escalated rude and irritated tone and an even harder in-your-face indifference. No recommendations, no assistance, no answers, in this ongoing maze of weirdness. And most definitely: «NOSOUPFORYOU!»

Blueberry lemonade is a blueberry slushy type in lemonade. Pretty darn good. The iced Nutella latte was good. Had only hints of the Nutella taste but i think any more would make it too sweet. Will def have to go and try out more menu items next time.

Been meaning to come to place as I haven’t had a kitchen in month and have been eating out 3 times a day. AMAZING. Must try: Turkey Avocado sandwich. The bread is perfectly warm/toasty/soft on the inside. The tomato and cucumber is really cold, while the turkey and bread are warm. It’s a great combination. The mustard/sauce on it is delicious as well. To drink: Mojito, specifically the watermelon one. There are so many options to drink, but this one is really refreshing. It was so good I bought another one to go. They have a ton of different hand drips as well. Might be my new go to spot. While I was there they made a couple of acai bowls. Mouth watering. I will be coming back on a weekly basis. UPDATE: 6÷3÷16 Their everything croissant is EVERYTHING. Must have!

We walked over after getting phở at Phở 45 and you can’t get phở without boba tea. We got Thai and taro boba milk tea. Both had good flavor and the boba was cooked right. They had a couple of games for people to play while eating or drinking. They had other foods as well. Verdict: I would come back, but if the phở place has good boba tea then I would probably just get it the phở restaurant.

This coffee shop is very cute and trendy but 3 stars is all it gets! Pros: The food menu has a lot of options and everything is generally very healthy and tasty. The coffee tastes great, and there are a lot of fun non-coffee drinks as well. Great for a light lunch or a refreshing drink. The interior has a cute hipster vibe too. Cons: The manager/owner lady is extremely rude! Also everything is pretty overpriced and service is slow even when it’s not busy. The seating is also horrible for students who try to get homework done here. Great place to try for the menu, but not great for homework and a guaranteed bad attitude from the owner.

Hidden Gem in La Mirada! Great place to grab something to eat and they also have great drinks :) I had a business meeting and I loved it! I got there early so no one was really there so I had a big table to my self. I ordered grilled cheese and matcha latte. They were both super yum. Their grilled cheese sandwich is not what you think and imagine… OMG, it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I ever had! I especially loved the little spicy egg in the sandwich. This place is located in a little shopping complex, so there are lot of parking spaces and they also have power outlet right below the bench so you can charge your laptop while you are working :) Love to come visit again and try other things!

I had this place bookmarked for over two years. Mostly because it’s around places I’ve worked. I wanted to try it, but I kind of resisted going because I’m a reverse discriminator. I don’t do Korean cafes. The moment I scrolled through the pictures of the lattes and noticed this place was Korean, I feared this place would be teeming with fobs and playing sad kpop songs on blast. I got bored with my normal lunch choices so I braced myself and decided to finally try it. They don’t play kpop. And it’s sooooo good. Being the hypocrite I am, I got the most Korean thing on the menu, the Korean bbq sandwich. Jeezurs. What was I thinking turning my nose up to this place for the last couple years?! I find myself craving that sandwich with the kick in the pants on the regular now. The lavender lemonade is yummy too. I love lavender anything, but the tanginess of the lemonade makes it so addicting. Guess I’m gonna become a regular here: P oh well.

Cute drinks and decent prices, but if you’re looking for a place to study that has decent wifi, this is not the place. I drove 20 minutes to check this place out but basically couldn’t do anything because the wifi was so terrible. My lavender latte($ 3.90) was fine, and they charge an extra $ 0.35 for using your card if your total is under $ 5. And, there was no latte art. I’m being super picky, I know, but the biggest thing is just the wifi. If you don’t need wifi, then this would be a good place to spend a few hours because all the customers seem really focused(in other words, quiet) and the jazz music playing is relatively conducive to studying(but is a little loud), and there are outlets everywhere. Every now and then there’s a lot of noise from the«kitchen» with blending, chopping, etc. but when orders aren’t being made it’s fine.

Writing this review while sitting inside enjoying my morning coffee, this is what I can say about this café. First off, the«everything croissant» was just perfection. The mother of all croissants. Fresh and well prepared, store owner was working the morning shift solo and she made sure not to rush the orders and took her time to prepare the meal. Secondly, I ordered the«Americano» for morning drink and was well pleased. Americano usually either has a bitter taste or a bit sourish finish, the Americano here is nothing like Starbucks. It has a clean taste and a splash of sourness for the after taste. Wonderful. Lastly, the décor was very comfortable and soothing. Easy on the eyes, totally my style. I live maybe a few minutes away and used to go to Starbucks but I have found my home café, Cream and Sugar. Pricing is most important, and honest truth the prices are friendly. Sandwich and Americano came out about $ 10.(Around the same with Starbucks pricing but with a boost of quality here) So many reasons to love this place but this is one of the most impactful favorites… electricity outlets! They are everywhere! I’ve been to a few cafes where it would be difficult to search for an outlet and also some cafes that don’t have a single outlet(example: coffee stop) Bravo on the sharing of electricity!

What a cute café here! One of my friends recommended this place for studying. It left such an impression on my first visit, I invited another friend to have lunch with me here. The Biola campus is super close so I see a lot of students coming in and out. The entire wall is dedicated to those who need outlets. However, the benches are too high and the table too low so this makes studying uncomfortable. Bring one of those book stands when you come here. There’s a couch thing in the front corner of the café. Maybe that area is a little better? While seating and outlets are a huge plus, a huge downside is the lack of wifi that works. The rate of the wifi here cannot keep up with our technologically advanced era. If you need wifi, don’t come here. They might as well not advertise«free wifi» here. Boo. This Unilocal review took two minutes to save and upload; I gave up trying to write more. Let’s move on to the food! They get an A+ for presentation. That’s what made everything so cute for me. I tried the strawberry mojito, which was really good and refreshing. Their coffee menu is so extensive that I will have to try those another day. They seem to know what they are doing though. I tried the everything croissant, and it was love at first bite. The sandwich got me so nostalgic because it reminded me of sandwiches my mom would make for me. It was delicious, something I would keep getting! My friend had the Korean BBQ(bulgogi) salad. She said it was good and ended up finishing everything! The service is great. When I went, I saw the same lady twice. She was running the place on her own, but she seemed really good at it. She was very attentive and nice! If you spend $ 10 or more and you are a student, you can get 10% off :) Ask for a stamp card. After 9 purchases, you can get a free drink!

Cream & Sugar is located near Biola University in the same plaza as stater bros. C&S continues to remain the apple of mine eyes. Safe for family and friends and wifi available for students who desire to study in a different environment. Food and beverages Everything is made with fresh and high quality ingredients and made with plenty of love… it can’t get any better than this. The love just permeates every fiber of my being. The presentation remains cohesive with the ambiance instilling hope and serenity within the souls of their customers. I ordered the blueberry mojito. There’s nothing better than dosing myself with minty cool and antioxidant packed goodness. I found this beverage to be especially refreshing during our hot California days. I always make it a habit of meeting my friends here because I know they’ll always deliver. Treat yo self!!!

What a cozy lil’ spot for studying, hanging out & enjoying a sweet drink. Staff is very friendly and accommodating– big plus ! The place is well lit and very clean, noise level is minimal. I ordered a strawberry mojito(watermelon was not in season, sad face) and I enjoyed it very much! It was just the right amount of sweetness for someone who doesn’t have much of a tolerance for super sugary drinks, like myself. And the flavor seemed very natural and not much of an artificial taste– which is something I am very nit picky about! It’s worth the money you pay for it– but I gotta come back when watermelons are back in season ! Besides that, the ambience is enjoyable and the place is decorated in the theme of our generation(marquis letters, wood tables, gray counter tops, etc). I would recommend coming here for sure & coming back to try all their other menu items!

Nice local café. Came in the afternoon for a sandwich and coffee. Ordered the turkey avocado and bf ordered the korean bbq with kimchi slaw. They were nice enough to switch my drink to a freshly squeezed juice. Sadly the orange and lemon they used looked pretty dry and old. First I thought it was decoration but apparently that was their stock of citrus. That took a star out. Booth sitting is a bit awkward since the booth is too high up to meet the table. So i had to sit huntched to make sure i was leveled with my food. My bf was shorter sitting down with me on the opposite side lol. But the food, enviornment, and location is good enough for me to return. Thanks!

What a cute little café! Everything from the décor to the drinks are really well presented. My friend and I came in to have a drink and catch up, and we were obsessed with the various decorations in the café. I ordered the strawberry mojito drink while my friend got a lavendar iced latte. My strawberry mojito was super pretty and tasted great. After mixing the drink, you get a fruity, light mix that is good to sip on while chatting with friends. My friend enjoyed her iced latte, but she did not taste the lavender in the drink. Adorable little spot to chill and hang out! They also serve sandwiches, food, and dessert if you want to eat here as well.

This review is way overdue. For almost couple years now, I’ve been going to Cream & Sugar Café located just down to the street from Biola University. There’s a lot of great things about this place, according to my fellow Unilocalers. They got coffees, blended drinks, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, salads, you name it. Food: Bagel Sandwich Drink: Strawberry Lemonade The bagel sandwich is my usual during breakfast time here. It has bagel(duh), sliced ham, eggs, and cream cheese. I usually love the idea of this particular breakfast sandwich. Not many places that I know has this stuff. The sandwich I had is very good. A must have breakfast sandwich if you never tried it yet, not even at home. Strawberry Lemonade is usually the drink I get at anytime. It’s pretty good. It’s very refreshing, especially during the summer when it’s way too hot for soda. Price: Price is pretty reasonable. Current students get a 10% discount with $ 10 minimum purchase. Overall, not too bad of the experience. 4 stars.
