This store is great. My eighty year old impossible to please mother has been complaining about her answering machine for months. While in San Diego to visit I decided to take care of this problem. I suggested going to Radio Shack because the employees typically can answer your questions and help you select the best products for your needs. «No I’ve already been to two Radio Shack stores and they couldn’t help me.» I took a chance, gave her lunch first, drove out to La Mesa. We spoke to a very patient and kind gentleman whose name was Jade and he crushed that old ladies negativity with knowledge and good service. Thanks Jade now I will not need to listen to her complain about her answering machine not working. We are up and running with a new one that, I swear, was designed especially for crabby old ladies.

Stopped by to get a battery for my dead key fob/​car remote.
Daniel welcomed me at the door and had the proper battery selected and installed in about 45 seconds.
It’s refreshing to find such pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful service these days. Kudos!

I have to admit this RadioShack provides some pretty good customers service. They may not have some of the best competitive prices, but they make it up with friendliness, and making sure you are being helped, and find what you need.
I came in looking for a reasonably priced phone car charger, and I was immediately pointed and escorted to right area. I needed a typical micro USB jack, so I picked up a universal type made by Belkin. It worked flawlessly. So, yes I was a happy camper.
The service at the register was prompt and courteous. One thing I have always liked about Radioshack, is that they’ve always seem to have the little things you need, at the oddest times.
