I ordered the salmon plate with an order of rice and potatoes. When my food came I noticed my rice was probably not gluten free so I asked if I could replace it with corn because I’m allergic. My waited asked the manager a few feet from me and I could clearly see she was very upset and had no empathy to my allergies. It’s hard enough that I can’t eat wheat, so it’s really hard when I get people being mad for something I don’t have control over!!!

Best Denny’s in all of San Diego! I have been to several in La Jolla, Chula Vista, San Ysidro, National City and San Diego and none have the service this location have. I drive 15 minutes to this location instead of the usual 20 min wait at any other Denny’s. The waiters are fast and attentive. The food is great. They have full menus and the place is really nice. I have been here like 5 times and every time the service is great.

I have gone to this Denny’s location a few times now. I have never had to wait long. The staff are always friendly and try to make sure I have everything I need. Food is always cooked the way I’ve asked and I’ve never had an issue waiting to long for the service on drinks. I would recommend this location to anyone.

One of my favorite Denny’s in town. The service is great and it’s newly remodeled so it’s cleaner. I always feel like people post negative things but never post when good things happen and let me just say I’ve had great food here from the skillets to my Belgium waffle.

I enjoyed my breakfast here. It was clean, homey, I was sat and served right away. The server was very nice and my food came out promptly and just as I ordered it. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of a long gate blocking the walkway from the parking lot, and a serious flooding and dripping of rain from the roof in the entryway. Proper drainage and rain gutters would help with that as well as an opening in the gate closer to the parking lot adjacent to spring street. Well, there you have it. Enjoy!

What can I say other than horrible!!! Walked in waited 5 minutes for someone to look up and acknowledge I was standing there to be seated. Then he said give me 5 minutes then walked away never came back. Then another person from across the room waived at me Pointed to a table without saying a word that same person walked past my table slid the menu across my table still said nothing to me and kept walking. I waited 10 more minutes for someone to come take a drink order before I exploded. After some choice words I walked out. This place is a hell hole! HORRIBLE!!!

I am a Denny’s fan but this location is outstanding. The food was very good and up to my exceptions. The service was over the top. There were two servers on duty and they were super friendly and efficient over all may for a very pleasant lunch experience.

I ordered the new Siracha cheese burger tonight. The meat was cold and the bun was burnt. How does that happen? The waitress offered to have the cooks make another burger for me and 15 minutes later, and once again, it was the same. Very disappointed. I left the burger behind with a note I wrote on a napkin. If you plan on going to Denny’s, bypass this location, and find another one. This one has gone down hill. The food sucks. It’s disgusting and tasteless. The service is less than mediocre. I don’t know who is running this Denny’s, but they should be ashamed. Seriously. It’s only a matter of time til’ this Denny’s goes out of business. I love Denys, I love their food! But their customer service sucks! The waiter sat us down and didn’t even introduce himself just went straight in to ask us what we wanted to drink like in a rush! We just sat down! Not even 2 minutes later another waiter asks what we wanted to drink! We just got here haven’t even looked at the menu. By the time we were ready we flagged him down to take our order! They don’t even ask what kind of eggs you want I had to tell him. He did no offers no nothing just wrote down what we were saying. Shouldn’t he ask if you want you eggs a certain type of way? 2 stars just for the food!

I went to this location an order to ultimate omelet with no tomatoes /red peppers. when I receive my order I was already at home by the time I noticed that both tomatoes/reb peppers were on it. so I call back and ask to speak to the manager Jose Munoz and he promptly told me that I had ordered my food wrong.[ I’m allergic to these items never have ordered them in my life] When asked him if he would remake my omelette for me he said no it was my fault and he cannot do anything to help me out. so I told him that I will be forwarding this to corporate and his only response was make sure you tell them you ordered it wrong. He couldn’t even speak English and he expects me to believe I ordered my food wrong? I don’t know what type of establishment he is trying to operate but as a franchisee owner I know this is not the way you’re supposed to treat your customers. No integrity at this location don’t waste your money!!!

The visit there was OK. I’ve been to some bad restaurants and great ones. The service here was somewhat ok. Food was decent; waitress’s checked in often, really nice. But just wasn’t too impressed. But if you want food late at night, stop here. The service continues.

You get what you pay for is definitely the case here. Avoid the cheap price tag and go else where. I ordered an iced caramel coffee, no ice. I got a funny look, but I’m okay with that. The manager brings me a hot caramel coffee. No thank you, try again. Our waitress brings out my iceless iced coffee, relief! It only lasted a second. I used the straw to stir my coffee because I couldn’t taste the caramel flavor only to see coffee grounds swirling around in my cup!!! YUCK!!! I brought it to the waitresses attention and she took it away. When she came back, she had a cup of coffee and a cup of ice ~ they made a fresh pot, the ice was to cool it off. Thank you. I ordered the meat lovers omelet. When it came out, it had tomatoes & mushrooms in it. I was wondering how I missed those two ingredients & started picking them out. I wasn’t going to ask them to remake it if it was my error. Half way through my omelet, I realized I didn’t make a mistake. They brought me the wrong omelet. UGH. I asked for my hashbrowns crispy & they actually got that right. Except my plate was covered in grease… sigh. I’ll go to IHOP down the street.

No good. I had a coupon emailed to me. Before ordering, I asked the waitress if they would honor it. She assured me they would, just present it at the register. They denied it, saying that this particular location did not accept it, pointing to a little message typed out on a word processer that stated the fact. 1st: They are a part of a national chain, and all locations should honor any advertisements, sales, etc. 2nd: How is it that their own wait staff is not knowledgeable of these things. I realize that this is just one simple incident, but it represents unprofessionalism and disrespect for the public, who they rely on to keep them in business. The coupon had a value of $ 6.59, but, for me, it is a matter of principle. You cannot disrespect your patrons like that, and expect to stay in business. **Follow Up**… Was sick for 4 days after eating here. Not likely to return… EVER.
