This is a vegetarians dream! My boyfriend and I were visiting La Jolla for the weekend because I had been down in San Diego for work and I found this place on Unilocal. It’s a little confusing to find since you have to go down an empty hallway and then up an elevator a few floors to get here, but once you are up there it is a little sanctuary. I had the chocolate Acai bowl and a matcha iced tea and my boyfriend had some sort of vegan Nutella crêpe with cashew crème. I tried his and it was okay, but the Acai bowls were amazing. I actually went back the next day and got a different bowl which was also amazing. Also, watching aerial while eating is surprisingly relaxing! Definitely a must for breakfast if you are in the area.

I went today for dinner with a party of 8. I ordered the burger made with brown rice and beans with wedges of sweet potatoes. I never tried vegan food but today was amazing. I really liked everything. My family tried the smoothies and also the juices. Also they tried the spaghetti squash and it was amazing too. For dessert we has the cheescake, the brownie and the carrot cake. The brownie was exceptional!!! The service was really good also and really kind. Will come back for sure! Thanks for the amazing experience

Had so much fun on my first encounter with this establishment. I tried the nachos and house salad, both really tastey and good portions. Also, their smoothies are pretty delicious and are served in Mason Jars just like I drink em at home I am looking foreward to coming back to participate in the aerial yoga, looks incredible for back pain! !

The yoga studio + food at Trilogy is one of a kind, San Diegan at heart, «WOW» experiences. Food: Vegan Galore! Mind you, it is expensive — but everything you buy is 100% organic, vegan, and gluten free. The sauces, condiments, tortillas — are all made in house so you are getting a true cooked meal which I think is very good for the price they charge. I have tried the Spectacular Spaghetti Squash which was extremely flavorful, well portioned, and satisfying. Unfortunately, I haven’t had anything else here as I do usually just do the yoga and run out but looking forward to try one of their smoothies soon. Yoga: Aerial Yoga at its finest!!! The outdoor studio overlooks the ocean and there is always a nice breeze being that you are in La Jolla — but it is a truly amazing experience. I have done the beginner/level 1 classes 2 – 3 times now and each time, i feel stronger and find it easier to get in different poses. It is very different then a regular yoga Vinyasa in which you definitely feel the pose more — because the hammock helps stretch out even more. That being said, all classes I went to also weren’t a traditional Vinyasa flow and we focused on stretching certain areas. One of the best parts of doing Aerial Yoga is inversions. As someone who loves to do different workouts and incorporate Yoga — I have always felt that because I am not«super» strong, I cannot get into a head stand or inversion of any kind. However, Aerial Yoga makes this extremely easy because you have the support of the hammock to keep you up. In the classes I have done — we went into inversions twice or three times, each for about 3 – 5 minutes. You can come out at any point, however, I feel the more I do it — the more I like to stay in it and let my blood flow around properly. I would recommend both a class or Aerial Yoga and food @ the café to everyone because Like i said in the beginning — it is one of a kind experience that you probably won’t find out of So-Cal.

Talk about a unique experience! From the great patio to awesome healthy food! The staff is very welcoming and will give great recommendations if you’re having trouble deciding on what to get. Their acai bowls are BIG… Which I love :) Don’t even bother looking at the menu. You MUST get the sweet potato portobello tacos… My mouth is watering as I type. Their wraps are great too and they have very verrrrry fresh juices available too! Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is Bc this place is pretty pricey! Sitting out on the roof top patio, overlooking la jolla, eating your healthy lunch is my idea of a great day!

I think I’ve found my new study spot! I stumbled upon this place(ok, not really — Unilocal helped me out a bit) on a Sunday night and I ended up loving everything about it. Street parking was pretty easy to find, but the place itself was not — you have to go inside a building and go up to the fourth floor to reach the entrance. Not too bad, though, especially since there are signs to help you out. Since I had already eaten dinner, I opted for one of their teas — the Lavender Camomile. I normally drink green tea, but the person taking my order recommended the Lavender Camomile so I went with that. It was AMAZING. I enjoyed it even more than I like green tea, which is saying a lot. Anyway, I ended up staying for around 2 – 3 hours studying and doing homework — the noise level was just right(not absurdly quiet yet not annoyingly loud either) and the setting was perfect for doing work. Overall, I LOVED this place. Although the prices are slightly high, I think it’s worth it. Needless to say, I’ll be coming back often. I only wish they opened later so I could study there on weeknights too.

Delicious, fresh, and healthy!!! Between the burger, one of the quinoa bowls, and the BLT crêpe we were all very happy and full. The only improvement that could have been made is that the eggplant bacon was HARD, as in rock hard — definitely would not recommend! Very excited to come back and try out one of their yoga classes! Such a beautiful space :)

This place is simply amazing!!! The Nacho’s with the diablo sauce was by far the best Nacho’s I have ever had. The awesome staff gave my wife a free birthday dessert. She got the raw carrot cake! That might have the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. We will fly back from Vegas just to eat here again…

Sooooo delicious. Especially the brownie! Adorable atmosphere. Plan on seeing much more of me in the future! Side note. I brought my non-vegan friend here, and she said it was great. Plus the best vegan food she’s had!

Only in SoCal can you take an elevator up to the Penthouse level and walk outside to rooftop aerial fitness and other yoga classes. When you make it past the«granola» strolling around in booty shorts and tall Hunter boots with thick socks, and Birkenstocks, you discover the most amazing little vegan café. The menu at Trilogy had my mouth watering with the many options of vegan entrees and smoothies to choose from. I asked the cashier about the most popular dishes and decided on the perfect tacos. I have to say that I can see why they are at the top of the list. The chorizo quinoa was amazing and I felt like I was eating real taco meat! The food was awesome and paired with the view… you just can’t beat it.

Cool chic spot with vegan food, great smoothies, yoga, and ocean views. I loved the Euphoria smoothie and had the Chili Yam Bowl for lunch. This dish is absolutely delicious. I would have liked my food to arrive a little bit hotter, steaming would have been nice, but it was only a tick above warm. Lots of wonderful outdoor seating, however, the creaky elevator ride up three floors does not prepare one for a ‘sanctuary’ experience. Really, this thing should be fixed. It only sounds like something is rubbing the wrong way but the noises can be loud and obnoxious.

I am not a vegan but the freshness, taste and presentation converted me. I won’t give out too much because you’d like to experience the ambience yourself. Tip– make reservation for Sunday if you want brunch — they are Super busy, can be noisy too. Visit another time if you prefer serenity.

I was excited to try this vegan restaurant because you walk through a very hippie atmosphere to get here. Downtown, upstairs, take a crazy elevator(makes loud, uncomfortable noises), and then you walk through the yoga area and into the restaurant. My only negative part of this experience minus the elevator, was the staff. They are some of the most unfriendly people. It seems to be a trend with vegan and health food restaurants to hire people who look good but aren’t good at customer service. The waitress doesn’t check on you ever or give you menus or even tells you where to sit. As soon as you enter you’re on your own. They also aren’t great at taking your order at the counter, had to keep repeating myself. But the nachos were delicious. They came out before everyone else’s food so I had to wait awhile for everyone else’s food so I wouldn’t be rude. The tortilla chips aren’t great but the beans be sauces are wonderful and it’s filling. I like this place, even with the rude staff.

SO glad I tried this place again because their food is so filling, clean and delicious. My wallet was a crying a little bit but my stomach was all sorts of jolly and happy. I got the Green Goddess Raw Chop Salad($ 12) and Portobello Tacos($ 12) which is really something. It’s corn tortilla with garlic roasted mushrooms, cashew sour cream, avocado and pico. One of the best tacos I’ve had and this is coming from someone who’s eaten top notch tacos all around San Diego and LA. And the best part is, you don’t feel guilty or stuffed afterwards. It’s a win-win situation you need to experience. Also, I like how there is a yoga/aeriel silk deck right outside this place — it brings a sense of calm and relaxation to the atmosphere. Being on the top floor/roof of the building also helps because it’s like an escape from the busy streets and pedestrians below. I always go to Veggie Grill to get my vegan fix but now I can add this place to the list :)

Having traveled in many countries were vegetarian cuisine has become much more advanced than American offerings, I am not easily impressed… but this place blew my socks off. My boyfriend and I stumbled into this little gem of a restaurant after our cooking class at Sur La Table. At first we were confused with the set up because an aerial yoga class was taking place in the rooftop studio, but found the restaurant located in the back. The atmosphere was chill and casual and the menu was chock full of delicious offerings. We ended up trying the Perfect Tacos, Ginger Spring Rolls, and Raw Carrot Cake. Each dish was yummier than the next so we could not resist ordering a second round of some of them. The food was perfectly seasoned and presented well. Just as importantly, we didn’t feel gross after eating so much. The flavors were refreshing and light. We will definitely be back… — — — — — Update: I daydream about that«Majestic» raw carrot cake almost daily. It haunts me everywhere I go. Get out of my head!!!

I raise my glass to Mr. Creator of Yoga Pants, wherever you are. I’m not a complete pig. I take my tenth of a second admiring glance that i’m afforded as a red blooded male and keep it pushing. Trilogy offers the best«views» and cuisine of any Vegan restaurant in San Diego. Enjoy the über creative, mostly raw menu, while watching fit bodies in motion. This go round I ordered the Traditional Acai Bowl, added natural peanut butter, and the flatbread of the day(multigrain crackers, homemade cashew cheez, sweet potato, avocado, tomato, and bean sprouts). Easily digestible, delicious, and great fuel for my busy day. A must try for plant based disciples or those looking for a jazzy way of adding vegetables to your routine.

Nicole at the front helped me make a quick decision based on my food preferences. Really helpful and friendly. Delicious food arrived within 5 mins. I was on a lunch break so glad it arrived fast. Not too stuffed so was filling enough to get back to work. Very Delicious! While waiting for food I watched Arial yoga class in session on outdoor patio right outside here at Trilogy. Must check out !

Any review under 5 stars of this magical place is a scam. I’ve taken numerous aerial classes here and each experience I’ve seen improvement. The view at sunset here is incredible, as it’s perfectly propped and overlooking the heart of La Jolla. Let’s talk food. I am terrible at eating healthily and the café here makes it SOEASY. I’ve had the savory breakfast crepes, perfect tacos, BLTrilogy crêpe, Mediterranean spaghetti squash and decadence for dessert. Holy heavens: each and every dish I’ve eaten has been SO tasty and unique. If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and come by for both the yoga + delicious food!

The location is definitely great: panoramic, quiet, welcoming. It is a bit pricey but understandably. Got the Zingy bowl and couldn’t finish it: very abundant and ginger was a bit too much for my taste. I should get a meal to be able formulate a better review, but it’s worth coming up and relax for a while.

Trilogy is a gem and I am so glad I found it. This is now my favorite restaurant in San Diego. Trilogy offers such delicious, fresh, raw vegan and vegetarian food full of flavor. I haven’t eaten meat for over half my life and I absolutely love everything on their item list, as does my boyfriend who usually eats me with almost every meal. They also have juice cleanses and the owner will sit down and pick out the right cleanse for you. It doesn’t just include juice like other cleanses, it includes a free yoga class for each day of the cleanse, recipes, meditation and a raw salad. It is not the cheapest but sounds like it’s worth the cost and I’m going to try it next week! Trilogy also offers aerial and outdoor yoga classes with an exceptional video of La Jolla. I have also heard they do drum circles under the full moon and I cannot wait to join the next one!

Trilogy sanctuary sits atop a building overlooking La Jolla. There is an inside dining space as well as patio seating that shares with a large structure used for acro yoga. I ordered the two perfect tacos with a quinoa chorizo filling that was delicious. The side salad was a bit overdressed, but tasty. Id love to return to try more if the menu or as an escape from the bustling streets of la jolla.

Trilogy Sanctuary is an unique, quaint rooftop yoga studio in La Jolla. They hold yoga classes as well as special events. I’ve been here before for an evening event where Leila Dora(owner) performed a fire lantern dance. It was mesmerizing and a must-see performance. Anyways, I came here for a Yinki Yoga class which is a combination of Yin Yoga and Reiki. I got here early and had a small dinner in their café right before class. Since I was there for class, I didn’t want to eat too much so I ordered the Pitaya smoothie and a side of the Maple Mashed Yams. There were more items on the menu that I would be interested in trying out for another time. The drink and yams were delicious. Also had a lovely reunion chat with Shiela A. who teaches yoga there and also works in the café. I initially met her in Zumba class years ago but we’ve both moved on from Zumba to other interests. Have to say, I like Yin(ki) yoga as an alternative to Meditation because it consists of relaxing into poses for several minutes; this also helps me stretch out some tight overworked muscles. And the sound bowls are very relaxing. I’ve caught myself drifting into sleep by accident. Kristen is the instructor for this class and she has a soothing voice that helps you relax into the class. I highly recommend this class for an end-of-the-day relax.

I went back here to celebrate my birthday and it was wonderful ! Perfect Saturday evening since they have local artists perform on the rooftop. Definitely a nice addition to the ambiance. I got to try other menu items as well: –Green Goddess Raw Salad– This was plentiful and took me a good hour to finish haha .only because I was entertaining guests and nibbling in between. It was very flavorful and definitely healthy. If you love raw salads, this is a good choice. Love the red beets on here the best ! Wish there was more of it ! –Some friends enjoyed the Vega-Nachos with GF dehydrated veggie chips smothered in cheesy sauce made of cashews and quinoa chorizo, avocado, and pico ! This was great for sharing and my guy omnivore friends inhaled this ! Yum ! –I love green juices and I always get ‘Awaken’ ! It contains cucumber, apple, mint, lime, and cayenne ! Gets the blood flowing they say ! Mmm so refreshing and good for you ! Service was great ! Food came out timely and some even helped assisted my newbie friends on what to order on the menu. I also got to talk with the manager about the business and so happy that they are prospering after only one year ! They do plan to expand their space down below so look out for that folks !! In addition, I have tried one of their aerial yoga classes here on the rooftop and that was different and fun. I wouldn’t say it was a major workout(i.e. sweating bullets), but it was a new experience and I’m happy I got to try it out. Overall, another 5STARS !!! I have yet to try their other ‘RAW’ menu items, but I am looking forward to it ! KUDOS to Trilogy for making my birthday a memorable one !!! :)

Cute little rooftop café/eatery located in downtown La Jolla. As always, parking can be a bit competitive being street parking in DTLJ! The entrance is a bit tricky to find since it’s pretty much just a door down a long corridor. I would look for the Massage Envy entrance and then take the elevator up to Trilogy Sanctuary. If you see people doing aerial yoga, you’ve come to the right place! The view is absolutely gorgeous and there’s indoor and outdoor seating. I had just come with a friend from working out and craved a smoothie! Luckily, they had plenty to choose from! I got the Tropical Pitaya which was $ 9 and it was super refreshing despite its bright purple color! I also ordered the Wrap of Zen $ 11 with the suggestion from my friend and she did not steer me wrong! It’s raw coconut wrap with hummus, squash, beets, avocado, and cucumber. It was SO good and filling! The waitress that took the order was really informative(asking her a lot about the ingredients since I’m not very familiar with vegan ingredients). Highly recommend especially during sunset too for a great view to go along with great food!

The café is a little hidden and located on the 3rd floor of the building. Just take the elevator up to the penthouse. I’ve come here twice now and ordered the ginger spring rolls, BLTrilogy crêpe, vega nachos, and decadence dessert. Everything here is organic, vegan and gluten free so I really had no idea what to expect when I first came here. The ginger spring rolls are great! It’s a quinoa, carrot, and mango mix wrapped up in a rice paper and cooked with peanut sauce. The rice paper is actually the perfect thickness with just a little crispiness on the outside from being lightly seared. The filling was also surprisingly tasty with just a little sweetness from the added mango. And when combined with the tangy ginger sauce, delicious! The BLTrilogy crêpe was definitely creative, but a little bland. The crêpe is made with buckwheat so it kind of tastes like a soft and spongy wheat bread. The eggplant bacon was really the only thing that gave it any flavor and the crêpe could definitely have used more of it. Apparently there was a sundried tomato aoli sauce, but I definitely didn’t taste it. Either they needed to add more, or the sauce was also bland. Creative and fresh, but pretty forgettable. The vega nachos were pretty good. The chips are actually made of dehydrated corn, and the texture is thicker than tortilla chips and tastes more baked than fried. The«cheese,» chili, quinoa chorizo, avocado, sour cream and pico were very flavorful and definitely nailed the nacho taste. If you like chili, you will really enjoy this dish because that is the predominant flavor. The decadence dessert was a chocolate mousse topped with vanilla cream and strawberries. In terms of flavor, the dessert was light and not too sweet, but definitely bland. I love a good chocolate mousse, but this definitely did not impress me. And at $ 9 or a small cup, definitely not worth the price. The service is great, and you almost get a familial/homey vibe from the servers. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu as well as their smoothies and acai bowls.

Great vibe from the place! Not a vegan, but the food wasn’t bad. Trilogy Sanctuary is located on a rooftop with great views; the setting pushes this review up to 4 stars. You have the option of pouring for yourself regular or fruit infused water. A good number of their food options looked great looking around. I tried the nachos, spring rolls, and tasted some of an acai bowl. The flavor was better than expected, but in the end I do prefer my food with meat!(The Acai ofcourse, was great without meat.) Most of the options here are not very large, so if you have a large appetite you may need more than one item.
