The coffee is great. I’m not sure what happened but from 2015 to 2016, the coffee turned from meh to awesome. I think they trained their new baristas better to actually get espresso ratios right. I’m a huge fan of this place now. The rest of their stuff is standard market fare priced at a premium. 4 dollars for a bag of standard kettle chips – it’s a highway robbery, I tell you!

This is a newly renovated Market hidden inside 64 Degrees dining hall. I remember sophomore year it was relocated right next to the Commuter’s Lounge, which was pretty small. But this market is pretty big! I would say it is almost or just as nice as the Market in the Village. Very standard market place! It has similar selections to Earl’s or John’s, but since this location is literally right within 64, the space is a lot larger, and definitely study-space worthy. After you order your drinks or whatever, you can always eat outside or just move to 64 and sit in one of their lounges! They do have a larger selection of chips here, if I may say so myself! In addition, they have more breads here too, in addition to protein bars. Great job to the Market manager at Roger’s! There are a few cashier’s, so go up to the one that is open! There isn’t ever really a line, unless you are ordering a drink and need to wait a bit. Overall, this place is definitely an incentive to living in Revelle!

When my horse is running good, I don’t stop to give him sugar. Douglas Horton I never thought I’d be saying«stop! no more!» while eating a rice krispy treat. But it happened. The special St. Patrick’s Day treat was more sugar than I could handle. Tasted like I was eating a crunchy marshmallow. There ratio of marshmallow was too high for me to taste the rice krispy. The rice krispy treats at Whole Foods just need a little more marshmallow and they would be perfect for me. This treat I was only able to eat half of. *sigh My search for the perfect rice krispy treat goes on. This establishment is nice and fancy looking and the staff was very friendly. I am very impressed by how this place has seasonal treat offerings. Update 4÷2÷2015 I couldn’t resist the cute pink bunny cookie with the brown whiskers. Mmm… The pink sugar crystals taste as good as they look. The rocky texture tantalized my tongue as I bite into the the flaky cookie. This is a very delicious sugar cookie. :-) A timely addition to the pastry case as Easter is 3 days away. :-) Apple tart. I really love a good apple pie where you have a combination of crust, apple, and apple juices. This is packed with mostly apples and a delicious crunchy, flaky crust. A bit too much apple for me… Taste like I’m just eating apple slices. I think I’m not an apple tart fan.

The lattes are perfect for late night studying, and they’re from Starbucks! Definitely recommend the caramel latte, white chocolate mocha, or cinnamon dolce latte. Also, if you’re just heading to class or coming back from class, check out the pastries. I typically get a chocolate croissant or a chocolate glazed donut, and these go well with some milk, coffee, or latte. Oh, and can’t forget about the ice cream! I don’t know what it is about this market, but the ice cream is so good. I love the chocolate chip, cookies ‘n cream, and coffee flavors. One time, I even warmed up a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie and added it to my chocolate chip ice cream. Gotta try out this combination, or any combination of a warm cookie with ice cream really! Students run the registers here so the coffee may taste different depending on the person making it. There’s just one particular employee who isn’t very friendly, and this person doesn’t seem to care at all. However, the majority of the employees greet you with a smile and are very kind so that’s definitely a plus! Honestly, I probably come to the market more than I eat at the actual dining hall right next to it. I’m going to miss Roger’s next year when I’ll no longer be living in Revelle College.
