Beside her great personality, she is very professional and very customer oriented.

Been going to Yassi for my hair for almost 5 years now. She has less hair to work with now then when she first started doing my hair, but Yassi has been up to the challenge.

Yasaman is a great hairdresser. She has been doing my boss’ hair for many years now. He is very particular and she always does a great job. We can’t say enough good things about her, she is very nice and professional. You can tell she loves what she does. She comes highly recommended.

I never write reviews, I always think about writing them but I never do. I have been getting my hair cut by Yassi for almost 10 years. And no matter how many friends of mine that are hair stylists offer to cut my hair whenever I need it, I just can’t go to anyone else.
I receive compliments on my hair so often, that even with a stash of business cards in my purse, I’m always asking her for more whenever I get my hair cut.
I recommend her to everyone I know. And after their haircut/​color, they can’t stop telling me how awesome she is.
I’ve seriously become obsessed my hair. When people tell me they love my hair, my response is always, me too!

I’ve been going to Yassi for at least 5 years. I started going to her when she was in Fashion Valley, and then followed her to La Jolla. I am so happy that I did!
I have long straight hair with slight layering. Before Yassi, I was never completely satisfied with the way my hair was cut. It is always difficult to find someone that can cut long hair, but Yassi handles my hair perfectly. She is also very good at working with me, which is something I really appreciate. I always hesitate at trying new things, for example, until a couple years ago I had never colored my hair (not even highlights) but when I started getting white/​grey hairs she was patient with me and matched my existing hair color perfectly to cover up my white hairs — which is exactly what I wanted. Bottom line… Yassi is patient, sweet, has a good eye (and hands), and will work with you and suggest things without pushing you.
In San Diego, I had a busy and unpredictable schedule, but I happily kept regular appoints to get my hair cut and colored by Yassi. Unfortunately, I moved away 6 months ago, and I miss going to her. I haven’t had a hair cut since I’ve moved because I will save my hair cuts for when I am in San Diego. :)

Let me begin by saying if you have SHORT hair, she is definitely your go to stylist. I was a Law Enforcement officer who worked near Las Vegas and drove to San Diego just to have her cut my hair. You cannot ask for a better person to give you a bob. I’ve had people tug on it to make sure i’s not a wig. Don’t worry they got theirs ;)
I’ve been seeing her for roughly…8 years or so. She cuts my sons hair and I’ve referred anyone and everyone to her because i believe SHE IS THE BEST! Not only is she fantastic at her career she is friendly, funny and kind as well. She cares about what you want but if she knows you, she will never allow YOU or HER to make mistakes. I love the honesty that comes with that pip squeak: D
* I cheated once and regretted it!
*I asked her to cut my hair from almost butt length back to a short bob and she said «No, honey.» I was mad but guess what… she knew me better than I knew myself.

Yassi is easy to schedule and always on time and professional. Always happy with my cut when I leave. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist that is well the money.

What can I say, I have been going to Yassi for almost 10 years. She gave me the best «bob» about 4 years ago and I got compliments everywhere I went. People would stop and ask me who cuts my hair. She’s truley a perfectionist at what she does and very passionate about making sure you leave happy. We have great conversation every time and I look forward to each appointment because I know I will leave looking like a million bucks. Recently she did my color for the first time (10 years since I have let anyone color my hair)… It looks amazing! I reccommend her to all of my friends and would reccommend her to you too!

I moved to San Diego 4 years ago and bounced from stylist to stylist trying to find someone that was willing to listen to what I wanted but could also make it their own… My search was over when I found Yassi! She is a beautiful, kind soul that I connected with immediately! I would recommend any of my best friends to her!

Yasaman is the very best stylist in La Jolla, without a doubt! She is not only talented and does a great job, but she is so very personable and truly cares about her clients.

I moved back to SD in 2009 and never found any good stylist until I met yassi :) she is truely amazing because she always tell you her honest opinion. My hair style has been fabulous since 2009 thanks to her. She also did my hair for my wedding on 15 Sept and she made me a beautiful bride of my very special day. I was so worry about my hair being very fine and couldn’t get a nice style, Yassi said «cil you don’t need any extension, just trust me you will look amazing that day.» and I trust her and look amazing :) I always get compleat meant about my hair. I wouldn’t trade her for any other stylist :) on my wedding day, my mom had a hair disaster and Yassi fixed it for her and so did my other bridesmaid. She is such a sweetheart for making sure everyone in my wedding look fabulous. I don’t know how I can thank her enough for all the last mintues fixes she had to do for me :) she is amazing :)

I moved down to San Diego 4 years ago and I had been jumping around from hairstylist to hairstylist, not really finding someone I wanted to do my hair on a consistent basis. I feel as if you need absolute trust in your hair stylist and I finally found this the first time I went to YASAMAN. She listened to what I wanted and has always given me a cut and high lights that I’ve been happy with. She is an expert in her job. I have very dark natural hair that nobody could do a high light without damaging my hair. But now after going to YASAMAN I have pretty healthy hair, the light color that I have always wanted and a great haircut. My hair is so healthy that I can let it grow to my waist. I am always getting so much complements on my hair. She put pretty different low lights also that makes it look so natural and everyone thinks I have natural light hair unless my roots show up. YASAMAN always gives great recommendations and tricks for health care. All natural clues.
I always leave YASAMAN happy and I appreciate that she keeps her prices so reasonable. She’s also very nice and has a fun location. Time flies when she is doing my hair. I highly recommend YASAMAN.

I have been getting my hair done by Yassi for some years now and i’m very picky about my hair. She pays alot of attention to detail and is a perfectionist. She’s the best hairstylist I’ve ever had. would not go to anywhere else. I’ve referred a few people to her and they all love her. She’s not bad to look at either :)

Yassi is one of those hairstylist that you can be completely comfortable with. I’ve been going to her Salon for about 6 month now (8 – 10 times maybe, seriously? that’s a lot for a guy)
She is a close friend of my gf and that’s how we got introduced. My favorite part is that, you’re having fun talking to her for the entire 45 mins — 1 hour she’s working on your hair as well as getting your hair done exactly the way you wanted.
She’s cool with any style that you wanna go for and even suggests something to make it better.
One more good thing about her is that she’s very pro in facial hairstyles. I’ve challenged her with a very sensitive and hard mustache style (gentlemen style) and she did so great that encouraged me to try some more weird styles in the future maybe!

I have been going to Yassi for about 5 years and have been happy with every haircut. I actually followed her from a salon that was closer to my home up to La Jolla just because I couldn’t find someone that did as good of a job. I was wearing my hair in a short bob and it always came out perfect. I’ve also grown my hair out, and she does long hair styles just as well. I like that I can say, «just make it look good,» and she knows what to do or gives me options based on her expertise and my hair type. She is easy to make an appointment with, which is great for someone with a busy schedule like me. I’ve recommended her to a few of my friends who have also had pleasant experiences. The salon itself is pretty small, but clean and quaint. The parking lot can be a little tricky on weekends or during lunch time (it’s next to two popular lunch places I guess), and I usually find it easier to just park on the street in the surrounding block. Overall, I always have a great experience with Yassi and get complements on my hair all the time!

There r better hair dressers in town! Don’t bother w her!

Yasamin has been my hair stylist for almost 6 years now. I trust her and I trust what she does on my hair. I have a fairly thick hair, she always does an amazing job on my hair. There are times that I showed her pictures for both hair color/​highlights and hair cut and asked her to do the same on my hair and she did absolutely perfect job. And there are times that I just want her to decide On what is best for me and she always makes me happy with her excellent job.
The most important fact is, I always get complements about my hairstyle and that’s what makes me always happy which I should thank Yasamin for her great job.
I have recommended many friends to her over past years and they all loved her, boys and girls. I really do recommend her if you have never been there before.

To me she is simply the BEST!!! Since I started to cut my hair with her 5 years ago, I have gotten so many complements, but the best part of all is that I truly feel so beautiful when I leave the salon. I feel so lucky to have found her.
