So how the heck did I end up here from the South Bay, you ask? My girls and I decided to get together for dinner at Moros Cuban Restaurant. We found out last minute that the restaurant offered free corkage since they do not have a liquor license. One of my girls brought Stella Rosa but the majority of us wanted something less sweet.
Lucky for all of us, this liquor store was in the same strip mall, a few stores down from the restaurant. They actually have a pretty good selection of wines. Sure, they carry mainly the cheaper stuff but their prices are very reasonable so I decided to take a chance with an Argentinian Malbec that was on sale for about $ 20.
Friendly staff who mentioned I wouldn’t be disappointed with my selection of wine. He was right! We enjoyed it! Bring cash or know that there will be an additional 75 cents charge for using your credit card.

Great place where they make you feel like family. Big Mike and his fam are good peeps. They also sell City Locs brand sunglasses.

Me and Mike (The clerk behind the counter) always have a little chat whenever i go to get some cigarettes. You always feel welcome and never have a problem here.
