Applebee’s

This is one of my favorites, love coming here. Menu is big enough and many good choices, but it’s not complicated. I enjoy the bar and it’s not too noisy. Food quality is excellent, service is good !

My husband and I come here on occasion. The employees never disappoint. A few months ago, our server was a very sweet, woman with blonde or light brown hair (I wish I could remember her name). She was great and I should have sent a review then because she was extremely busy and still took wonderful care of us. This time, our server was Michael and he did such a great job that I knew it was time to write a review. Michael told us about the new items on the menu right away. He was extremely busy too, but when I told him that I didn’t know what I wanted to order because I wasn’t super hungry, he took the time to ask me questions to help me decide what to order. He even told me which dinner choices were popular with his customers, and how they were prepared. My husband and I both enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely come here again.

I like Applebee’s it has a neighborhood kinda atmosphere the happy hour is good and the Chicken Wonton Tacos are really good, but the happy hour is short 3−6pm wish that the happy hour specials would go a bit longer.

Still one of my favorites. Good location. Food is always good and we always seem to get good service

We came to Applebee’s for the first time in a long while. We were seated pretty quickly, but we had to call over a waiter just to get service for drinks and to place our order. We then waited 35 minutes for our food, while other tables who came after us received their food before us and even finished eating and left. This was unacceptable, and we had asked the waitress a couple times about the status of our food before complaining to the assistant manager and manager. We weren’t expecting to receive any benefits or free food from our complaint, we simply wanted to call attention to our frustration. However, we received our meal for 4 people for free! The manager’s customer service made up for the inconvenience of the meal.
The food was okay, I had the Oriental Chicken Salad. It had too much dressing. Mozzarella sticks were obviously frozen.

This place was disgustingly dirty. Food, trash, and drinks were scattered everywhere! The food quality and service were just ok. I do not recommend this Apple Bees.

We called in to reserve for 20 people at this Applebee’s and so we got there, signed in and waited for like 25 minutes and then a lady that worked there said that there was a table that had 20 people already there and that they sat then down as soon as they got there and that they didn’t know how long it was gonna be until they leave. So they should have told us that before we waited 25 minutes!

I haven’t stepped into an Applebees in a very long time. My hubby and I finally had a night off in like years and many places close early on a Sunday night. We were thankful that the Applebees was still opened so we could get a couple of drinks and small bite to eat. I ordered their chicken quesadilla and it was really good. Crispy outside, cheesy and juicy chicken on the inside served with 2 different types of salsa. My hubby ordered the boneless chicken wings and those were tasty too. The service was great and the place was clean. I don’t know why this place gets such low stars but I would come here again.

Just bad only Ricky Bobby can appreciate this place. I haven’t been here since the 90’s not much has changed.
My waitress had ADD she asked us if we were ready but before I could open my mouth she took off to the kitchen, she then didn’t get our utensils until we got our appetizer and I asked for it.
My broccoli was raw, one star was for the steak it was cooked correctly and I had hard «baked» potato. Don’t get the honey chicken mac n cheese unless u like it doused w maple syrup. I’ve never eaten a sweet and sugary Mac n cheese.
***Beware parents don’t let ur kids play w that Presto menu/​game. I got an unexpected charge of $ 1.99 on my bill. There was trivia on the game apparently whoever plays it can get charged without the parents knowing. Luckily I saw the bill and had it taken off.
Applebee’s this was a disappointing meal, I’d rather eat at home and have a better meal. Ricky Bobby I salute u, only u can love this place.

My fiancé and I have been coming to this location since we moved to La Habra two years ago. It’s our go-​to place for celebrations, and sometimes our late night cravings for steak and mashed potatoes. The service has always been wonderful. With that said, the most recent visit tonight fell short of our usual expectations, unfortunately.
Our server was Garth. He was great, very pleasant and quick when he was able to be quick. Sadly, a huge party came in for a buffet type of ordeal, and that took away from the usual quick and awesome service we get. Our server seemed to be balancing a lot, and it was difficult to get his attention when we needed it.
I am unsure if there is new back of the house staff, but whoever made our meals needs to be retrained, or at least pay more attention. The last few visits, including tonight’s dinner, the food has fallen flat of its usual deliciousness. As a part-​time chef, I can tell when the meals have been done properly, and when the staff has rushed it/​skimped out on it.
Tonight, I ordered the shrimp Parmesan steak, asking for it to be well done. When I received it, the meat was NOT well done, there was only 8 pieces of shrimp floating around, and veggies were a little raw. I thought to myself, «Maybe it’s just a bad night.» I like to give the benefit of the doubt, as my fiancé and I have worked in the food industry long enough to sympathize with off days. Then, I found a hair. Not the short, usually undetectable, eyelash-​type hair. It was a thick, black, and LONG hair. So not only am I questioning the enthusiasm of whoever prepared my dish, but also their cleanliness. This was a hair that was nearly impossible to miss! It made any food I saw unappetizing, I didn’t even want to reorder another dish!
Garth was very apologetic, and so was the manager. They asked many times if there was anything else they could get for me, and comped some things on our bill to make up for it. I felt bad for them; it wasn’t their fault that whoever made my dish slacked big time on following order details and cleanliness. This was inexcusable.
My fiancé ordered the four-​cheese Mac with chicken tenders. The chicken portion was small for the price, and he said it was okay, not the best dish he’s had. That says a lot, because he always loves his food. We also ordered the mozzarella sticks, and we’re disappointed that we only received 8 sticks for $ 8. They didn’t wow me enough to think it was worth $ 1 per stick. Usually we don’t complain about pricing, but combined with everything else, it made it even more frustrating. The manager was nice enough to comp this, too, to make up for the hair, so we weren’t too upset nor mentioned it to him.
We plan to give this location one more chance for my fiancé’s birthday in November. Hopefully by then any issues or retraining that needs to be done is worked out, and they resume being the usual five star location they were two years ago. I want to write a five star review next time, step it up BOH staff!

The service is a bit slow but they make up for it with friendliness. We ordered the shrimp scampi it was good. The burgers were fabulous and the French fries were fresh. We also had the potato chips which were crispy and soft.
They were kid friendly

The Siracha tacos were incredibly flavorful!
Brisket sliders however were a bit salty and the finish was a bit too sweet.
The grilled chicken wonton tacos were not too bad and we ordered 2 servings.
Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Overall, this girl had a easier able experience and will return.

Great service and one of my favorite restaurants for having lunch/​dinner with family and friends!
