The quality is there but the quantity is lacking… They need something that sets them apart from the other Mexican restaurants in the area. If the burrito was football sized like some of the other restraunts in the area they woild be winning. Service was ok not overly friendly but not rude.

This place is horrible. I’m glad it’s inexpensive or I would be a lot more upset. The service was very slow. They need lots more help but either way the food was not very good. Definitely not recommend!

Love their tacos! Came here for appetizers and drinks. Ordered tacos and sangria and was not disappointed. Service was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. The bar stools are really low and for a 5 foot person I felt like a little kid at the grown up table. Overall a nice place. Sad to see it so empty on a Saturday night.

I gave them one star for being a place I wanted to like. I wish I could have reviewed the food, however after waiting 15 mins for water I decided to walk out. A server? brought us chips and salsa and they were ok. Prices looked good as well. 2 servers and a manager(looked like) handling about 6 tables. The place was under 50% full. The table next to us had been seated prior to us getting there and had finished their chips and salsa before getting to order their drinks. That’s when I knew the taco cantina failed to hit their quick Mexican diner goal and it was time to go.

Nice little casual place for a low price. Nothing on the menu over $ 8, cept for the $ 10 margaritas, not too shabby. Great warm tortilla chips great you w a hearty salsa. Got the al pastor burrito & fish tacos, both excellent. Burrito not football sized but very tasty. She loved the $ 3 fish taco. Very good salsas served w the meal. Nice & casual, open only 3 weeks, hopefully will have outdoor seating, would be nice place in the summer. Needs a a bit more Mexican flair if you will, but such a great improvement over the pretty poor Vietnamese joint it replaced.

Great atmosphere and very good food. Gotta love having chicharrón as a filing choice! Rather disorganized… stood inside door waiting to be seated or to just seat ourselves for too long. Waitress service was quite poor… inattentive and not very friendly… the other folks who brought food, salsa, etc, we’re all very nice though. Would definitely go again.

Taco Cantina is a new little restaurant on La Grange that has a nice atmosphere and simple food choices. It is a bit disorganized as you’re not sure if you should seat yourself or wait to be seated until one of the staff tells you to sit where you like. Food was okay, we got a quesadilla, carne asada torta and ordered a pork burrito but received a chorizo burrito. We ordered a Coke and it was brought in a can and poured in a glass but no soda fountain. Staff is nice and food was a great price. Defiantly more of a quick lunch stop then a nice dinner.

Not one to write reviews but felt compelled to after recent experience. Went to a late lunch, early dinner this past Saturday. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from village hall and that evening was the lighting of the tree. Me, my wife and our three children in the party. Seated immediately and received excellent wait service. The children split a quesadilla while my wife and I each had a burrito, one steak, one chicken. The presentation was very nice and the food was excellent. One of the best burritos I have had in a very long time. Just the correct amount of each ingredient. No grease dropping on the plate like you might expect with a burrito. Best of all was the price, I believe the burritos were $ 6.

We wanted to like it but it was horrible! Wait staff is so disorganized. Drinks horrible and the food even worse. My recommendation is for this business to take a moment and organize! The drinks tasted like cheap mixes. The limited menu was on paper. The chicken items tasted fake and flavorless. What we ordered was incorrect but we just wanted to get out.

Has potential but they will need to work on menu and service if they want to thrive in Lagrange. No kids menu is a deal breaker for us from now on… nothing my kids would eat on their menu. They are located in family friendly suburban location so they will need to adapt to cater to population.

Great urban atmosphere. Food is good and simple straight to the point on the menu is tacos, tortas, burritos and enchiladas. Appetizers; quesadillas, guacamole, tamales, sweet corn, taquitos. It’s a great place for groups to have some beer, margaritas and mixed drinks and tacos and watch a game. Love the atmosphere and music the place has great potential to be very busy I just wished my waitress would have been more attentive and the menu had just a bit more choices like Carne Asada dinner. Over all I would come back$
