Calvin (Kaipo) does phenomenal work. He was friendly, helpful, and clearly knew what he was doing. We would use him again anytime. The price was fair for a local small business that specialized in Doors. We feel we got more than what we paid for. We also through talking with him on the site realized he was incredibly invested in the community and gives much time and effort to helping the CV thrive. An overall great experience!

What a bummer. I had a great guy come out to do an estimate. He seemed with it and ready to do the job we needed. After several phone calls left to them and weeks upon weeks of waiting to hear back I have still not ordered any doors. Now I’m ticked and got another $ 1,000 dollars tacked on to the same job because it wasn’t added at the beginning. Forget it. Now I gotta go through this again with a new company. Yikes! Follow up=not good. So bummed.

We’ve had JR do a couple of door replacements as well as a difficult custom job. From beginning to end, we have nothing but a good, professional and friendly experience with them. Their pricing is fair and their work is craftsmanship at its best!

We were referred to JR through a family member and we had them install a new front door and frame and everything. The gentleman who came out to do our quote was incredibly professional and knowledgable. He explained things so thoroughly and didn’t do the annoying sales pitch that we got from some other contractors. The process with JR was incredibly simple. Pick out your front door and hardware and schedule a date. The installers showed up on time, they were also professional and they didn’t leave the entryway a mess after. Next step… After living with the plain white door for a few weeks, we decided to have it painted red. JR referred us to Kevin Morrissey, painter extraordinaire! This guy was great, he communicated so well with us, when I called him with questions, he took his time to explain everything and when I was confused at Do It Center, he met me there and saved me from buying the wrong shade of red. He spent two days painting our front door, making sure that the red color was solid and rich (apparently red is a very difficult color to paint). He was perfectly pleasant and cleaned up after he was done working each day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with JR. The only reason I give four stars is because it took a while for our door and hardware to come in and I, like many others, want things NOW! In all fairness, I understand that they were waiting on the supplier. We love our new front door and will definitely recommend and use JR in the future. THANK YOU!!!
