Waited for 30 minutes for 10 pcs of chicken in drive thru. Then got home and order was wrong. Manager told us nothing he could do. Definitely won’t be back.

So when they first opened this location has a lot of issues. But I have to say today my experience was great. Was having a lousy day and the guy working the drive thru was so nice and helpful it actually helped out my day. Can’t say that a drive thru fast food that made you have a better day. Than you.

This Popeyes has the WORST customer service of any establishment I’ve ever experienced. They’ve consistently messed up my orders, but this last time put me over the edge. Was told there was a short wait for Spicy Chicken, told me to pull around to the front. Waited literally 25 minutes for my order. Guy finally comes out and my order is completely wrong, I then told him exactly what I ordered. Goes back in, wait another 10 minutes. Comes back out and my order was completely wrong again, and all I ordered was simply a #6 with fries and red beans and rice. The employees at this Popeyes are clueless and simply don’t care about their customers. Never go to this location!

I’m a fan of Popeyes spicy chicken. I just don’t eat it that often, and, have never written a review for any Popeyes. Not that I remember anyway. So here I am in Kyle and I am having a wing craving. I break for lunch and head out in search of some wings. I drive past this place and I see the big poster with wings on it. I think to myself, «WTF Popeyes has wings?». Poster read «New! Spice Packed Wings». Well fuck me. Hell yeah. Let’s do this! I say. I go through the drive-​thru and order the 12 pack with a side of cajun rice and a biscuit. I am instructed to pull around to the other side and they would bring the order out.
After 20 long minutes of waiting a server brought out my food. Just the chicken. I mention that I also had a side of cajun rice and a biscuit. She repeats my statement in the form of a question and hurry’s off to get the rest of the order. Moments later she returns, and, back to work I head. First thing I do is dig into the wings. I notice that they put two dipping sauces in the box. One ranch and one tarter sauce. Yep tarter sauce. Who the fuck dips their cock in tarter sauce!!! Poster says served with spicy pepper ranch dipping sauce. Hmmm. They had a good 20 minutes to get it right. But, no, someone decided I should dip my cock in tarter or regular ranch. :(After thought: The spicy pepper ranch would have been overkill.
As I stated earlier, I am a fan of their spicy chicken, but, the wings were disappointing. The dry seasoning was over salted and a bit much. The wings were coated in a spicy batter, fried, then spiced again. Some parts had more seasoning than others. The batter was nice and crispy and the meat wasn’t over done so kudos there. I may have enjoyed these wings better if they would have been served seasoned with their regular spicy seasoning. This stuff didn’t do it for me. I wouldn’t recommend the wings here.

They got my order wrong. However, an employee AB was very persistent in helping me get what I asked for. I appreciate the great customer service. It makes feel good to support a business that hires good people. Tony refunded my money and it was a great experience.

You would think by it being fairly new that it would be good, WRONG !!! It’s dirty, customer service is bad, they can’t get your order right. I believe they already need new management !!!

Disgusting. I’ve gone 2 separate times and both I felt ripped off and sick.
The chicken was more breading than chicken.
The sides were inedible. I don’t know who could think those sides are good, someone with no taste buds.
I will never go back there again.

Okay, we ordered a fried turkey ten days ago from this location. We get a frantic call to come and pay for it today! So, my husband goes and gets it, and they give us a frozen Cajun-​style turkey. Uh… we paid $ 45 for something we could have bought at H.E.B. Then they wouldn’t refund our money after I called the store and told them that’s not what I ordered. Poor service, guys, and a rude manager. I will never trade there again! there’s a reason they have such a low Unilocal rating!

Not happy with customer service. Left pies out of order & mixed up sides. Would not mail coupon to me, not their policy.

I count at least 8 employees behind the counter. Please someone please go take care of the restroom and lobby. this is a new location, maintain a clean workplace.

Horrible horrible. You have 8 people working with no structure. Drive thru orders coming back inside because orders are incomplete. Ate inside and the three customers came in after got there food before us. They didn’t even realize they had skipped our order till we went back up.

Twice now I’ve had to wait at supper time for chicken to be prepared. Tonight was it so I canceled my order. Last time the chicken strip tasted like they had been there all day and everyone behind the counter were acting like they didn’t know what to do, especially the manager. Won’t come back.

Horrible. The food and staff are the worst ever. They’re supposed to close at 10:00pm or later but they always have chairs up on tables at around 9:00pm. They have like 25 people working here at any given time but nobody ever knows what’s going on. Save yourself and your sanity, do not come here, ever.

The people at the drive-​thru were rude and had no manners. When I asked for some time she said «ARE YOU READY?» after about 20 seconds. I asked for spicy flavored chicken and there was not even a hint of spice on the chicken. Had a large side order that they didn’t even put in the bag.

This place is the worst popeyes I ever been too. They are rude and so unprofessional. They always mess up on your food been there twice and one those days they got my order wrong stupid people and the managers don’t even do shit I honestly think that this popeyes should not even be here with all this idiots working there they don’t even know how to run a business and they hire stupid ignorant people who don’t know how to get the order right «twice» for that being said never coming back to this stupid restaurant waste of time and money!!!

Going through the drive through and ordering is the most convenient way to order take out. BUT, when they don’t complete your order twice, not once but twice. It’s really irritating. Went there when they first opened, they forgot to put in my sides so all I got was chicken and biscuits. Went there again. This time they didn’t give me my drink. Good way to make money. Charging people the full order and not giving them what they paid for. I enjoy Popeyes but KFC is right next door and they got their act straight.

This Popeye’s has normally been hit and miss with the food/​service, but our visit this evening was met with a very unfriendly girl working the drive-​thru. No smile, no manners to speak of, and she just left you feeling that she did not want to be there. I personally would not want the face of my restaurant to be this ill mannered girl. She needs to work behind the scenes or not work there at all. Management needs to address these issues or this Popeye’s will not be successful.

Not that great. $ 10 for 5 piece tender meal. Dry chicken, no gravy, I got the spicy so it had good flavor just need more attention to detail. If you are going to charge $ 10 for a lunch meal make sure you include everything you are suppose to.

Glad Popeyes is close by but this place is run by complete morons.
They always get our order wrong. Always.
Always forget stuff.
The chicken is often over cooked and dry.

This is the worst pepeyes restaurant I’ve ever been too. After having some issues do to having my order done wrong twice! And yet when I asked to talk to a manager they didn’t even do their work how they soposed to they were so unprofessional didn’t solve anything and they were soo rude. As far as I know I’m never coming to this place again Not worth it… lame ass people!!!

Brand new Popeye’s location in Kyle. The restaurant design is on the small side, with a noted maximum occupancy of 68 patrons. The parking lot appears to be favoring a «Drive Thru» patron, as most of the parking for dine in customers is to the side, and rear of the establishment. Entry to the parking lot is from behind the building, as there is no direct access from the Interstate access road.
The staff was very friendly, and had plenty of workers on hand. I noticed that they would flag around drive thru customers, and deliver their food curbside, as to keep the line flowing steadily.
I ordered the spicy chicken tenders, and was surprised by how thin the tenders were. They were much smaller than what I would normally expect from a chicken, fast food, tender. The flavor was good, and the meal came out fast, and hot.
The staff stayed busy, busing tables, and cleaning, which kept the restaurant pleasant.

I was happy to see a Popeye’s coming to Kyle, as I really do prefer their chicken to KFC and others. That being said, I don’t understand why every Popeye’s I have ever been to cannot seem to make a decent biscuit. I thought it was one of their «specialties.» They are all like hockey pucks, not fluffy at all. When we forget to tell them ‘no biscuits’ we just throw them away when we get home. I am also not a fan of their sides, so this review is pretty much just on the mild chicken.
I find the chicken here to be adequate, although many times it seems like they put 3x the coating on it, compared to other Popeye’s, so if you appreciate that, you will really enjoy their chicken. We tend to get just thighs when we go, and once you get past the coating to the meat, it has always been tender and tasty.
We have ordered the coleslaw from time to time, but like most places, we find it a bit bland and end up adding more vinegar and black pepper to it when we get home. Once we have done that, it is palatable — but still not as good as mine :-)
Service at the drive-​thru has always been friendly, and they have yet to mess up an order (so there’s a plus!)
