The Phở is pretty good but the food hygiene is poor. Look out for hair in the soup. I tried the sushi last week. Big mistake. It was as if the dude making it had never made sushi before. Compressed balls of rice. Avocado that was brown. Not rolled, just kind of mashed together. Inedible. This was partly my own fault. I broke my sushi rule. If the guy making the sushi isn’t Japanese then it ain’t sushi. Won’t be back again. Darn it, cause the Phở was half decent without the hair.

We drove to this place to try it out. The service was not good. An angry looking lady seated us. She looked at me like she hoped I would choke on a chop stick and die. It took a long time for our food. My wife had to ask for hers and when she did it was obvious that they had forgotten the order. The phở was good, no complaints on that. The broth was average and the meat seemed to be fresh. The banh mi was horrible. It was not served on a traditional french baguette. There was two small pieces of meat. They should be embarrassed to serve that. The meat had a bit of a questionable after taste. The kids noodle dish was ok. The restaurant has very bad acoustics. The family next to us sounded like they were sitting with us. The banh mi was so bad that this review goes from 4 stars to 2. If I wanted half burnt bread with little meat and sparse veggies then I would just let my wife make it and save the time and money.

I come here pretty often, at least once a month and every time i do I leave with a full stomach. I normally get the R1 chicken plate or just regular meatball phở and it seems like they do a little extra every time. For eight dollars you receive a heaping amount of chicken, rice, veggies, and an egg roll, you can’t beat that. This 3 star reviewed place definitely does not do its justice. The workers are very polite and the food comes out acceptably fast. So come to Kyle and drop on in for some sushi, rice plates, or some delicious Phở. You won’t be dissapointed.

When in Kyle and hungry for some Phở, this is pretty much it. I’ve not had a problem with the service, but, find it amusing that everyone working here(that I have seen) are of the«round eye» type. Where are the Asians? This is a chain maybe that’s the deal? Who knows. It’s Kyle. I want Phở. Phở in Kyle. Phở King Kyle style. On my first visit I asked my very pleasant waiter if they made the broth fresh. He says yes. I then asked if it was made the traditional way. He said he didn’t know but was sure it was. Well, it ain’t. You’d be hard pressed to convince me that that broth comes from boiling bones. Nope. It is straight outta the box, can or bouillon cube. Nonetheless it is still a decent bowl of Phở and my meatball Phở was generously loaded with balls. That was impressive. I was still eating the balls after I had finished all my noodles and garnish! Cool. So on Sundays when I’m working in Kyle and need me a Phở King Phở fix this will be it. I can hang and may get courageous and try the Banh Mi sandwiches. When in Kyle…

I just attempted to eat here with my boyfriend and while the food may be alright, the customer service leaves little to desire. When we walked in, 30 mins to close and not one person was willing to help us. After sitting for 5+ mins a lady came up and informed us that they are only doing to go orders. Not only is that completely ridiculous they way they handled it was unfortunate for business. After ordering the food to-go, it took 20+ mins to actually receive the food. Just something to keep in mind. I realize I have high expectations but especially when I called in advance to confirm.

Food was good, service was slow. We ordered 2 egg rols, a chicken spring roll, phở #1, and beef vermicelli(b4 i think) egg roles were crunchy not greasy. Clear dipping sauce was refreshing. Spring roll was tight, crisp fresh. Peanut buttter sauce i did not enjoy. It was gelatnus instead of creamy. Both main dishes were seasoned well. Phở was a 4 out of 5 fresh sprouts, fresh herbs and tender beef. Beef vermicelli id say 3 out of 5. Beef was perfect but a found that the veggies were not as crisp as i like them making me believe that they may have been on the older side. Thai tea was on thesweet side for me but delicious. Offer many great drinks. Only problem we had was that service was slow.

Love this place! A friend showed me the Kyle location when I first moved to Austin. The Phở is awesome! Make sure you get the steamed veggies in it. Also, try the Bahn Mi #4.

This place is cool and the food is good. I like the sushi and appetizers the best. But they’re kind of slow bringing the food out.

This is a disgusting restaurant. We have tried a few times to see if would get better but no more! It’s unclean and the bathrooms are disgusting and if indicative of the kitchen… puke. Watched the guy make my sushi as he sneezed and coughed twice on it as he prepared it. Had them take it off my check. Gross! I asked for white meat on my Bún salad because they typically use dark meat in everything. Was up charged for it… get it home and… yep, you got it… dark disgusting fatty meat. There’s an odd taste to all the food we can’t put our fingers quite on. Similar to sour towel. Seats are tattered and needs some updating and repair. So long Phở Thaison you are scratched off my list. You have been warned. Bön Apetité

Just went in and tried to sit down for dinner, lady that looked like justin beiber turned us away because kitchen was closed. IFTHEPOSTEDHOURSARE11 – 10YOUSHOULDBEOPEN11 – 10. Incredibly disappointed that the kitchen closed early. Drove 20 minutes to this establishment to be turned away, unprofessional and inconvenient. Would give a negative star if I could

I was really disappointed with this place. First off it was somewhat crowded but there were only two servers, one which told us he was stressed out(I felt sorta bad for him.) after taking over 25 minutes to get out our drinks. Although he was kind enough to give us water as well, which was nice… but I paid $ 3 dollars for this green tea with boba that didn’t quite taste right AND had to wait over 25 minutes for it… I was so disappointed with that that I had to go to another boba place to get true boba and get that awful taste out of my mouth. All of us ordered Phở, I ordered the sea food phở, which I thought was alright although a little bland. However this was the first time I ever had phở, so I can’t really compare it to anything else. My friend, who is an avid Phở fan, said, «[The Phở] was bland and the onions were gross. Not the consistency of what phở onions should taste like. I’d give this place a 2⁄10. The imitation crab even fell apart because it was so cheap. I’m very passionate about Phở.» I need to also add that at one point she spat on us because, «something slimy [in the Phở] went down [her] throat». This, of course, topped off my experience. The only one that was somewhat satisfied was our other friend, who said, «I have nothing to complain. My water came on time and the Phở tasted good. The only thing I have to complain about is the onions and the girl who spat her food in my face. 8⁄10 would come again.» However, this one hasn’t ever had Phở so I don’t know how authentic her review could be considered. I probably won’t visit here again any time soon until they revamp their menu and get that new management I’ve been hearing about. Then, I’d be willing to give Phở Thaison another shot.

Going to do three stars for now but I definitely want to come back and get something different. I ordered the Pad Thai which looked delicious but really lacked in the flavor department. Next time I’ll try something else. My boyfriend got the fried rice and it also lacked in flavor. Really bummed because everything looked so delicious. Update: I basically eat every meal here now. It’s sooo delicious

Just moved to Kyle with my girlfriend. Decided to finally get some food after a long day of moving. We decided to try out Phở Tháison today. The staff was friendly and greeted us right away. The menu was appealing. A wide variety of choices to choose from. We ordered the tofu vegetarian roll, and those were okay. Simple and tasty. My girlfriend and I shared the spicy curry with tofu and vegetables. And that dish just didn’t do it for us. There were only onions as vegetables and if you’re lucky, would come across a piece of carrot or dices of tomatoes. I wasn’t so lucky. Overall, it was a okay dining meal. I will go back for sushi.

Sad. I really love Vietnamese but this place totally missed the mark. Menu looks better than what you end up getting. And I’ve definitely seen this menu somewhere else before like it’s been bought from a marketing company and not actually their food. Spring rolls had no mint or cucumber which adds half the flavor to Vietnamese food. Bun bowl was lackluster had no cilantro mint or basil either. Bathroom was disgusting.

First time to eat at a PHO resturant and was very pleased, very attentive server. Ordered hot tea as it’s been raining and it was very good. We started with spring rolls 1 chicken, 1 shrimp and though they were difficult to eat without a knife, very fresh tasting, enjoyed that they weren’t deep fried. The Phở was satisfying, noodle soup delicious, fried rice too greasy. Overall very nice change of pace and look forward to a return visit.

I’ve been to Phở Thaison located in Austin many many times. Today was my first time visiting this specific location. I was extremely pleased with the amount of veggies and noodles they included in my phở. My tofu was a bit overcooked and cut way too thin, but that didn’t keep me from eating it. My boyfriend ordered pad Thai. It was alright. I like my pad Thai noodles a little thinner. But that’s my personal taste. I was pleased with the service. We knew to seat ourselves but I feel that someone who doesn’t know their seating system might feel a bit lost if not immediately greeted. Our drinks were refilled promptly. And our waitress was extremely patient and kind toward my young daughter who was a bit fussy. Overall, it was a good experience and we’ll definitely be back!

— Long 30 mins wait for some phở — since we’re so close to Austin, I’d expect higher quality — one rancid piece of meat in phở bowl — broth is good — size of phở is comparable to houston — unfriendly service — black spots on meat creeped me out Probably not coming back here again

I’ve been here several times and I have to say, while service is sometimes spotty, I’ve only ever had bad food once. Today was not that day. Service-wise, normally it does depend on how you go in and greet the employees. Go in with a smile, get service with a smile, though there are exceptions. It has always been clean when I went in though there were a couple times it seemed they’d just mopped with old water, but again it’s always been clean. All in all, today was like almost every other time I’ve been in. I had the fried dumplings, shrimp spring roll, and Phở. Good food, friendly staff and the prices are excellent.
