So in one night out, I had a dude offer me drugs by the pool table, got roofied in a drink he bought me, joined a gang, and almost got in a fight over watching a guy pee in the parking lot. Overall a GREATNIGHT!!! 10⁄10 would go again. Alley for life. Tattoo to follow.

We go here for late-night food fairly often since we work late and they have a great menu. However, after getting take-out last night after eating nothing else all day(my friend got the brunch burger) he is now today throwing up and having diarrhea so bad I’m having to take care of him and am considering taking him to the hospital. It was a med-well burger so this shouldn’t have happened, and like I said, it’s the only thing he’s eaten in the past 30 hours or so. The Alley really ought to check their meat and make sure it is safe to eat!

Food is terrible, bartenders and servers are not the best. The event coordinator Tamara, is very rude and not helpful at all. Will never go back, even if they’re bought out by someone else. Highly recommend not scheduling a party/event at this venue. Would put zero stars if i could.

Went with 5 friends for their Sunday Brunch we’d heard advertised, arriving just after they opened. Serious lack of attention to detail at every turn. We were seated promptly and received our drink orders even though half the party wasn’t there yet. Had to ask for the Brunch menu which we received with no explanation of the items… only the name of the dish & price; the regular menus that were offered looked as if they’d come from a second-hand store… dirty, frayed & torn. Our waitress did attend us promptly when the rest of our party arrived. Then the party went downhill. If you’re going to serve food, you should be prepared when the restaurant opens, not treat it as a surprise to the kitchen. Coffee took over 15 minutes. 2 of us ordered breakfast… biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, hash brown casserole. 1 ordered wings & a salad — which looked tasty. 1 ordered breakfast but with toast instead of biscuits/gravy(good call, foodwise). 1 ordered Belgian waffle w/fruit. 1 ordered a Brunch Burger which turned out to be a burger on a biscuit half with spring mix greens, tomato, onion, topped with bacon & a fried egg, served with hash brown casserole. Took almost 20 minutes for our orders to arrive, then without the breakfast w/toast. By the time that order arrived, the rest of the party had finished. No real explanation other than a «kitchen problem»; she was given a complimentary bloody mary(so weak it should have been complimentary) but no deduction for the late meal. One of us asked for some jelly or jam only be told they didn’t have any, then had that changed to offer fig preserve –for which we were charged $.50 on the ticket. Except for the wings/salad, food quality was poor. The hash brown casserole was a dried-up greasy mess. The biscuits were dry and tasted as if they may have come from a pre-cooked box. The burger was well-done and flavorless. Nothing was served hot. They apparently also had a bloody mary bar which we were never offered… probably just as well. At least our party didn’t harrangue us for suggesting The Alley, and they won’t have to be asked to suffer thru it again.

What a wonderfully creative menu! So creative I asked if it was a chain. Coming in on a Sunday afternoon, I was disappointed there wasn’t more wait staff, but James did a phenomenal job of taking care of us. He’s good recommendation was on point. I would definitely be a regular here if I live in Knoxville!

The best looking upscale Sportsbar in Knoxville hands down. They even have a champagne room for private bottle service! This place is a catch all! Staff is full of energy and the food is delicious. We started with the meatballs and the Parmesan duck tots. I had the sushi and my friends had the alley burger. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends. The only problem was restrooms were bit dirty but they were really busy and as soon as I told my bartender they got someone to take care of it.

Very disappointed in this place. We ordered two of their speciality drinks, both which tasted like lemon pledge. There were tons of fruit flies hovering in the restaurant that ended up landing in our drinks. To top it off the food tasted terrible and they forgot to bring our silverware throughout the whole meal! Don’t suggest this place for anyone who enjoys a good meal experience.

Really like this place. Food is a unique twist on popular entrees you see at many places but they also offer unique dishes I haven’t seen in Knoxville. I like the atmosphere as they have outdoor seating, a dining area, lounge area, as well as a sushi bar on certain nights. It’s a good fit in that area of Knoxville. I can see this place being a very popular spot.

I would give it more stars but I never made it in. Was told no flip flops even though I was in a collared button down with nice khaki shorts. Wouldn’t have mattered though because I would never have paid the 5 buck cover, too old for that. Either way good luck to the business. It’s only closed about 4 times in 10 years. Cheers!
