I’m a 24 y/​o student at the University of Tennessee so you know a little about my demographic. I recently moved to Knoxville and have been to Frank’s Barber Shop and SportClips thus far. My experience at Suburban Barber Shop was as good as it gets. I went there the day before Christmas eve and I was immediately served, I went in prepared with a photo of how I wanted my hair cut and Hoyt, my barber, cut it exactly how I wanted. Hoyt is best barber in Knoxville I had had thus far. I would recommend Suburban to anyone who wanted a timeless, classic cut for less than half the cost of what I spent on Frank’s or SportClips.

Been here a couple more times. And every time I get a different cut. Can’t say it’s bad, but really can’t say it’s great. I guess I can say solidly it’s ok. The first visit must have been a fluke. I really don’t know. So far franks has been the best cut even though the cost is higher, and it’s more of a salon.
So overall if you need a cut this place should be ok. But don’t expect something amazing. Still the best part is a clean razor trim on the edges.
Guess I need to keep looking.

Not bad, but have had my hair cut by all 3 and they just can’t seem to get it right. Not much for conversation and Hoyt and the other guy are just good old country boys… eeeeeh

I have been going to this barbershop since I had hair long enough to be cut. If you want a quick professional haircut, then this is the place to go. The barber’s are Hoyt, Paul, and Cindy. Each one do a great job.

Checked this place out during my lunch break to get a much needed haircut. It was a little difficult to find because it’s tucked back in a corner, but once you find it, it’s easy to find. Walked in, wasn’t busy at all. Waited a few minutes for a chair to open up, and was out the door soon after that. They did a good job in a timely manner, friendly service, and good conversation. Only $ 13 for a haircut. Will be going back again.
