Sport Clips

I would rate this place 0 stars, but that’s not an option. The employee I was «fortunate» enough to get when I arrived seemed to know nothing about cutting hair. I said a trim and I ended up getting a whole new cut. Thanks Candy for the great new hairstyle. I recommend avoiding this place all together.

Arrived at store at 6:01PM and was asked to leave because they were closed. Normal operational hours are 6PM so I understand, but when you see people not working, laughing and telling me they’ve been their since 10AM it frustrates me. Specially when my hair cut takes about 8 minutes. Anyway, last time I visit this location or even the company in general.

It’s no secret I love Sport Clips. Where else can you go, watch ESPN and get your hair cut? I started coming to this location recently and the quality here is just the same as any other Sport Clips I’ve been to.
They have three levels of service… The MVP Haircut, where they style your hair, and then rinse with a massaging shampoo, while putting a steamed towel on your face. Afterwards, they’ll give you a short neck and shoulder massage. The next level is the Triple Play, which includes all of the MVP except the neck and shoulder massage… and then there is the Varsity Haircut which is just the haircut.
I always get the Triple Play. The stylists have been very friendly and they do a great job with my hair. I’ve very particular about how I want it cut and they always take care of it. Once they get started, they get the job done right away… sometimes we chat about the sports on the TV, sometimes what’s going on in the world around us.
The place is decorated like a fancy locker room, each stylist has a «locker» they can put things in. Every couple of chairs share a TV, which is always playing a sporting event or ESPN. The place caters to men with the sports theme and attractive stylists (well, most of them are).
After the haircut, comes the shampoo and this is my favorite part. While washing your hair with their own special shampoo, the stylist massages your scalp. Some do this better than others, but it feels good just the same. I usually can feel the tension in my head melt away while getting the scalp massage. They also place the steamed towel over your face during this time, I think it helps relax you a little further. This location also has vibrating massage chairs. I haven’t seen this before in the other locations I’ve been too… it’s an interesting change.
The price is pretty reasonable considering the work involved, there’s always coupons out there that helps too. I’ll be back for another great haircut.
