Here’s the deal. I have my 11 year old daughter, Emma, only until tomorrow and after great anguish she decides to get her first haircut ever. It’s Saturday afternoon and I can’t even get a salon to answer the phone. Even the one I most wanted to take her to because of the hot stylists is only doing nails?!? Finally, Emma and I decide to just drive and inquire in person. So we go by Ross and go in. What do I know? My last haircut was in 1997. We were greeted warmly and led to Amber who was very patient with us. It was, after all, Emma’s first cut — okay, more of a trim and layer with side bangs. 45 minutes later — she looks beautiful! Who told my daughter she can grow up? Even though we couldn’t get the highlights, they made it happen. First haircut in her life… Sigh… Reasonable cost as well.

I have been trying to find a good hairdresser with no luck, and after trying this place I am still looking. Just came for a trim but my hair is a certain length so I am picky about how it’s cut. When I walked in, the receptionist was nice enough but didn’t really seem very friendly. it was 6 pm so maybe she just had a long day. My hair stylist was the same, nice but didn’t seem too excited about being there. I usually don’t notice things that are really wrong with a haircut after a few days or after I have washed it and tried to style it myself, but I did notice that she didn’t take enough off of the back so I had to go back and I requested someone else, and she didn’t know what she was doing either. They both did a good job of screwing up my hair. Will not be coming back here.
