Loved this place when in was in Knoxville. Conveniently and temptingly located in the West Town Mall Food Court and staffed with friendly Indonesian workers, this place was my dinner choice after gym workouts lasting two hours. For a very reasonable price you get a lot of protein that tastes grilled-good and a healthy helping of vegetables on a bed of rice: it is the perfect balanced meal. Their Teriyaki chicken(their most popular dish) is made in front of you in Teppan style and they offer generous samples. Their secret is the teriyaki sauce that has allowed Sarku to build a 200-strong franchise. They also have a «sister» restaurant named«Sarku» in the East Town Mall as well. I have eaten at both places and saw how the staff moved from one location to another, presumably to train new employees. Skip Sbarro, McDonald’s and«Eat Mor Chik’n» at Sarku! It’s fast, it’s healthy and it’s plentiful.
