As a student, I come here very often and have never had an unpleasant experience. They don’t accept gift cards because it’s run by the university just like every other restaurant on campus. The orange chicken and sweetfire chicken are INCREDIBLE! Also get the vegetables as a side if you want to feel a little healthy.

They don’t honor the gift card I legally bought! Have to refund the gift card, because the other store is 15 mile away!

Nice Panda Express location. Plenty of seats inside with three televisions tuned to sports. A lot of college kids hanging out inside. I think this place closes when UTK is on winter break. It is a bit of a hassle to reach with the Cumberland Avenue construction. I had to park at the free night and weekend parking at the hospital and walk about half a mile to get here.

Not good. Plain and simple. I love Panda Express and the flavors, however, this is terrible. I have been here approximately 10 times since it opened, and have been pleased only once. The rice is always old, dried out, and nasty. The sauces always have good flavor, but that’s the easy part. The Beijing beef is constantly overcooked and dried out, and the same goes for the orange chicken. The biggest problem I see here is that they cook the entrees in such large batches that it will often sit around for half an hour or more(easily much more on slower days). As I sit here writing my review I hear them constantly cooking more with no customers here. They then mix it in with the old pieces and then let it sit, to get old and dry. This Panda is much closer to me than the Turkey Creek location and would come here more often if it was edible. I think this place could be much better if management would manage the quantity cooked and focus on preparing stuff in time of need, not an HOUR before anyone will be eating it! If this gets fixed, I think this place would be packed… aka more money… aka much better and successful business.

I am writing to update my previous review. They really have been terrible every time I come in. Crunchy rice, OLDFOOD(freshness is the key to good fried dishes with sauce on them), and to top it off its the worse panda express location I have ever been to. They really need to talk to california locations to get this figured out. Fly in at least 1 manager and 1 training chef. Until they fix this im done. Tired of wasting my money. Fix yourself panda, plz fix yourself

Chinese fast food. I never buy Chinese food. Especially fast food. Well, I don’t believe in paying for food that makes me feel gross after consuming which explains why I am so picky. I took a bite of a vegetable spring roll from my friend’s dinner box because I was curious and wanted to rate it. The first thought that popped after that bite was how my lips were smothered in oil. That’s a lot of oil. I love fried food but some are just grossly drenched in oil. It’s not easy to make perfect the skill of deep frying. This happens to be the go to joint for a group of my classmates during exam season so it probably does taste good but I’m just super picky about the type of unhealthy food I consume. Especially if it’s Chinese because I could make it myself.

Being a non student, i was not expecting much. I found good service and good food. Surprisingly good food. And a whole lot of it! The food was great but you do get a whole lot of students in groups being obnoxious and using language and such. There is no parking either.

we walked in and start looking at their selection of entrees. The food looked as if it had been sitting for hours, burnt looking and dry. We decided to go to another restaurant.
