Decent sandwich, We first tried Lenny’s in Atlanta, Georgia, that one was a tad better but this Tennessee location was fine. If you want a sandwich and you do not want that terrible excuse for a restaurant(subway), this is a nice option.

Okay, YUM. I mean, yes, everyone loves a good sandwich. But there is something magical about the fact that the meat is sliced to order here. What even more magical? The pepper relish! Oh my gosh! Never get a sandwich without it! Add a bag of Lenny’s brand jalapeño chips, and you’re golden, my friend.

Best Philly in a long time. It was worth a short detour for us as we drove through Knoxville.

A zen riddle: If a Philadelphia native eats a cheesesteak in Tennessee and complains about it, is anyone surprised? If Lenny’s makes good hot dogs, that’s another review for another time. If you’re going looking for a solid cheesesteak, just keep looking. The fact that they have real deli slicers and a case of deli meat started off as a promising sign, but according to the neon sign in the window, this place had«Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks.» I had to try one. Why do I never learn? If you ever check out the map on their website, you’ll immediately see why you’ll be stuck from the get-go. No locations in PA, NJ, DE, MD, NY, or New England. Why not? Because Lenny’s wouldn’t last a week in an area where people know real cheesesteaks. The entire Southeast US? Makes sense! Who’s going to know the difference between a good one and a bad one? Let’s make a deal. Don’t open a place in Knoxville and advertise«Authentic Philly Cheesesteaks» and I won’t go open a store in Philadelphia called«Tim’s Amazing Southern Grits» We both know that it’s just going to be a giant disappointment.

I am not a fan of most of the sandwiches here however I do enjoy their chicken salad sandwich. They are usually fast. The philly cheese steak smell like B-O, so I would have a hard time trying to eat that. Give it a shot, but there are much better places out there than Lenny’s.

The first of the great Lenny’s chain I ever visited, this sub shop has it all, Big Dogs and fantastic subs. The meat is cut fresh to order. The bread is always fresh(soft and warm) and the crew is friendly. The philly with pepper-relish can’t be beat! Extra cheese is a must! If you’ve never had a Lenny’s, make this the first spot you try.

This is a good sub shop. I agree that the foot long hot dog is good but the chicken philly is great and the grilled chicken salad and chicken salad salad are some of the best salads around this part of town!
