Kroger

This is probably the best grocery store in South Knoxville (not that there are a ton of options), but their prices are always competitive, they have frequent and good sales (and e-​coupons you can link to your Kroger card), and an above average selection groceries including fresh seafood, meats, and produce. Also, for every $ 100 you purchase (or less, depending on occasional special offers) you get 10 cents off per gallon of fuel at their gas station. They occasionally run out of their sale items, and sometimes their produce looks a little picked over, but grocery stores are few and far between that don’t have those same issues.

Woah. What can I compare this to? Who doesn’t love sales? There are so many sales! They call it manager sales. I guess the manager hooks us up! So I enjoy grocery shopping a lot. I spent way over an hour just looking at everything. This is officially my go to for produce. I was surprised to see the huge ethnical variety. It’s not huge but it hits a little more than the basics from other grocery stores.
Tip: check your receipt before you leave. I saw two mischarge; I was charged for grapefruit when it was a navel orange, grapefruit is more expensive and they charged me for the wrong type of apple. It’s a common mistake, you can’t expect them to know everything in the store.
Get a krogers card! You can collect points for gas.
