I went here with my friend who had been here before, and it was wine down Wednesday. All house wine glass and bottles were half off. The restaurant has a killer wine selection and some inexpensive but delicious food on the menu. I had the shrimp and grits which were amazing. My friend and i also ate some beer cheese and pretzels which was also delicious. I would definitely go back to just hang and have some wine. The atmosphere is really cool too.

Sitting on the patio on a sunny day is the perfect way to spend part of your Saturday. The service is excellent, the wine selection is very good, and the food is fantastic. Try the peanut butter open face sandwich with tomato jam and bacon! Lunch and dessert on one plate!

A little ambivalent due to some reviews that were not so favorable about the food. Don’t listen. Party of 7. 9 dishes. All very tasty. I ordered a second helping of the Brussels sprouts.

It’s kind of a tradition at this point to have a drink at the bar before eating on the square. It’s not usually crowded and the drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. We broke our tradition by trying to come for drinks after dinner. There were six of us and all the tables were taken except for a 4 top and 2 top on the side which we just pushed together. After we moved them, btw they weren’t blocking traffic, My friend asked if it was okay and an employee basically said«well no not really, you aren’t supposed to move those but it’s fine»… After more awkward seconds passed with everyone still staring, we didn’t feel welcome, moved them back in .5 seconds, and left. There were no servers at this point so it wasn’t like we were messing with table rotation or anything… and would have gladly moved them back if asked. Not a huge deal, just super uncomfortable.

Having been a long time Pre Pub and Scruffy City goer, I’m kinda surprised it took me this long to stop in to Uncorked. My girlfriend and I ordered a drink and a few small plates and loved everything. The ambiance is pretty unique for Knoxville and I’m excited to go back and try something new off the menu!

I used to love Oodles Uncorcked. Their Duck Marsala was the best I’ve ever had. Then they changed their name to Uncorcked and its very unfortunate. They took some of the best items off the menu and now have overpriced fancy sounding disappointment. My friend and I went there for dinner one night, but ultimately left after seeing nothing on the menu that looked remotely good. It will be our last time. We have a bet on how long it will make it. Not looking good.

Decent service, mediocre food. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re too hangry to notice either.

Went in a party of 6 on New Year’s Day before a movie; market square was packed and uncorked had no wait so we walked in. The place seems like it used to be open air with 3 shops that are all one restaurant– so there are three 60’s looking store fronts inside the actual place. There was a nice indoor seating area with wooden tables to the right and it was empty– instead we were taken back by the kitchen and sat in patio furniture in the once open air alley and got a nice icy breeze anytime someone came in. Not that big of a deal– but I think anyone would’ve preferred the nicer seating. The waitress was attentive but very quiet, and the only issue with service was the long wait for food– about an hour. Overall the food was great! We had a cheese fonduta with pita, bread with olive oil, and I had the Italian pan seared chicken with Brussel sprout purée, maple glazed carrots, and sausage bits on top. All in all I was pleased, but would’ve requested to be seated in a different section. I would go again, especially in the summer or for happy hour.

Only been here once, during The Scruffy City comedy festival in a side room. Place was kinda fancy, a bit upscale, perhaps pricey or a special occasion type joint. I had one beer for six bucks, yikes! Very nice ambiance, very cozy and well lit. I’ll keep this place in mind.

I’ve tried really, really hard to dig this place. They have a decent wine selection and great wine specials. They also have a great patio. In the warmer months, that is a pretty incredible combination. That’s where my attraction ends. There’s just not enough substance to build a real relationship. I know that. So whenever Uncorked and I end up together, I know that the wine will be good but it won’t be last beyond that. I won’t be thinking about it the next day and I’m certainly not going to call it. It’s more like wine with benefits. The space inside is weird. Making the most of their space, the seating is a bit disjointed. The bar area is nice and feels like you’re sitting in a restaurant, but it can get a little loud. It is a bar, afterall. The service comes in a rainbow of ability. I’ve had good service. I’ve had awful service. Now the food: Knoxville seems to really miss the mark with Italian food. Like if they are attempting to hit a bull’s eye, the arrow ends up in a tree…20 ft away from the bull’s eye. Uncorked, itself isn’t terrible. To me, it’s just meh. My last attempt was their Chicken Piccata. It was a mess of overcooked pasta, in a pinesol flavored sauce with woody stems they called asparagus and mushy artichokes. This restaurant seems to make plenty of people happy. We’re just not meant to end up together. As with all relationships, I try to appreciate the good that they present in my life. Uncorked and I will always have bread and wine.

Okay atmosphere. Low quality and over priced food. Felt gross after eating the Italian sandwich and my fiancée couldn’t fully eat the quinoa burger because of how soggy it was. Friend had noodles and they were nothing to phone home about. Bill was around $ 50. Worth about $ 15.

Had the lemon chicken salad lunch special. Delicious. If it’s available, get it. The chicken has a great light breaded coating. Fresh mixed greens. Ripe tomatoes. The homemade bread they bring out first is really special. $ 8 bargain. Eating outdoors under their umbrellas on a nice day cannot be beat. Top notch service from the waitress too.

The food is absolutely incredible! They had a fancy duck dinner but we chose chicken and seafood pasta entrées. Side salads were good enough to stand alone! The wine selection was fabulous for this side of the country!

Went back after taking a long break from Oodles. The cheese tray was actually pretty good. My salmon dish was just okay. Polenta was crispy and not very flavorful. My biggest disappointment was that the charge that posted on my credit card statement was higher than the signed total on my signed slip. My attempts to talk to a manager or even the owner just met a wall. They were kind enough to send the bartender to talk to me though when I finally showed up there. She was nice enough but it was obvious those in charge didn’t care about my experience. I wouldn’t recommend it and if you eat there, definitely check your credit card account to make sure there is no shady business going on.

After dinner several of us stopped by for drinks and we got some really good service so why I’m I rating the a three. When we got there we were told that the wine was half price per bottle but we got the check it had the full price. After talking with the manager, she fixed it with an attitude and said we were told wrong. As we were leaving she said yall really got a good deal so I told her that she need to make sure her staff was trained & understood what’s was going on. I guess they were more concerned about drinking than paying attention to detail.

I had the salmon dish which was not good. The salmon cut was so thin and small with no flavor. It needed more of the balsamic glaze on it. The polenta was dry and hard, not creamy like the menu indicated. Yet the patron at the next table ordered the same thing and her polenta looked rich and creamy; her salmon was thicker and bigger too. My little niece ordered from the kids menu and had the fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp. I tasted her food and it was delicious. I asked the waitress if I could order the same thing my niece had and she accommodated my request. If I ever come back I will order the Alfredo dish. The salmon dish was $ 18 and not worth it at all. And yeah the bread and olive oil dip was good and the waitress was nice. Advise take the salmon dish off the menu if you will not perfect it for ALL patrons.

Bartenders here are phenomenal!!! Not only do they know their stuff and how to make excellent drinks, they’re a great group of charming and outgoing people! Very welcoming bar area and the restaurant was clean and adorable. Will definitely be returning here on future visits to the city!!!

My wife and I stopped into Uncorked for lunch the other day and were treated to a great Italian meal! We moved to Knoxville from Indiana last year and have been looking for new favorites to replace all our old Indiana haunts. Uncorked is going to become our go to pasta place! The staff greeted us immediately and was very friendly and helpful with our questions regarding the menu. The food was great and we decided to try desert as well which was wonderful! I highly recommend the bread pudding and the wife loved the cheesecake. We really liked the atmosphere of the place as well, it felt very warm and inviting. We’ll definitely be going back!
