Standard but good Asian dishes. Not much to look at on the outside. Hard to get to.

We are new to Knoxville and continue to look for a good place to eat. Bam! This is real deal for Chinese and Japanese food. We had«take out» for the first time and«dine in» for the second time. Presentation 5 stars, taste 5 stars and service 5 starts. We live about 30 min away but will continue to come here for AWESOME&YUMMY food. :-) Sushi Lovers — Try Exclusive Chef’s Sushi Menu. Buy one and second one ½ off!!!

Unfortunately, there isn’t much good I can say about my visit here with my husband a couple of weeks ago. The food can only be called mediocre(especially for the price — sweet and sour chicken with a side of rice shouldn’t cost $ 13) and the service on both of our visits has been subpar. I’m not even going to make the effort to talk about the different dishes we ordered. I just know that they weren’t worth the amount on the check at the end of the night. Also, their beer list is not accurate when it comes to those that are imports and those that are domestics. Basically, we were charged $ 6 for a domestic beer instead of $ 3. To some, that’s not a big deal, but I don’t appreciate being charged for an item we didn’t order and I don’t appreciate that a restaurant has inappropriate listings. In short, we won’t be visiting this particular location again.

Horrible service. Tasteless food. Tiny Portions. Worst excuse for Chinese food I’ve had! Took forever to get our lousy tiny meal. I’ll not go back!

Had dinner here tonight. Definitely try the egg drop soup, and the General’s chicken. Plenty of good options, especially with the sushi.

This is some of the best Chinese food I had outside of NYC or SF. I have forever been in the search for the best Hot and Sour Soup. It’s comparable to some of the best I ever had. We also had the pepper steak and chicken with garlic sauce.

Food is good but overpriced. Service was good but brought us the wrong thing at first. No lunch menu on the weekends. No hibachi on the menu

Love, love this place!!! Best sushi ever. Super nice staff and atmosphere is cozy. Good bar with multiple flat screen tvs. Ask and they will put on what ever you want to watch. Comfortable, quiet, very clean and super friendly. We highly recommend JD&Lynne

Surprisingly good Asian food for being so close to I-75.(Google Maps announced that we had arrived while still on the exit ramp.) Hot and Sour Soup was excellent. Sushi was very good. Ginger dressing on salad was only average. Overall, very good and we’d definitely go back.

Fulin’s has mastered a really simple equation that so many Asian restaurants don’t get: serve hot foods hot. The waiter offered me a taste of Hot and Sour soup but I went with my favorite, Egg Drop soup, and was not disappointed. It was served blow-on-it hot with a few fresh, chopped green onions tossed in for good measure. The«Chinese chips» were crispy and crunchy. Next up: the main course, sesame chicken. Again, it was served hot, covered in sesame seeds and a delicious garlic and onion sauce that is reminiscent of a milder General Tsao’s chicken. My waiter said the two dishes are«like brothers.» Fulin’s is more upscale than a typical Chinese restaurant with leather upholstery and a quiet atmosphere. They were playing classic Christmas carols mixed with an occasional Sinatra tune this December evening.

I usually get sushi at nama. That is my go to place. One day after volunteering near the area, one of my friends took a group of us here. I was just happy they had sushi because I live in a small town an hour away from Knoxville with an abundance of fast food. Yuck! Nonetheless, I was really satisfied with their Philadelphia roll and the tiger roll. What I was more happy about was the prices of the food. We happened to stop by during happy hour and got half off of a roll. I also got the miso soup which was really good. I definitely want to come back and try the other foods because they had a wide variety!

Holy cow! Wait. That’s not right. Sushi Shazam! The chirashi dinner was something to cherish. Tuna, salmon, yellow-tail, white tuna and octopus. Incredibly fresh. If you sit at the bar you can watch the works of art being created. Am glad this spot is here –and is spot on!

Great waiter. Great food. Great service. Great price. GREAT! anytime you’re in Knoxville I highly suggest going to it. If you have two people get the miso soup bowl to share because it’s cheaper but it’s a whole lot of soup as well. The egg rolls are fantastic. I highly recommend the crunchy crab sushi roll and also the spicy tuna roll. The ginger salad is really good as well. Eat here its awesome.

I was disappointed here, they have very few Thai dishes on the menu, didn’t even have drunken noodle. The interior reminded me a lot of Ichiban, the ambiance is relaxing, cozy, very well lit and had a sleek bar. Seems overpriced too for basically Chinese food. I went with the combo lo-mien, friend had the pad Thai, which she enjoyed. Portions were decent, but not overly generous. Two entrees, two cabbage rolls(2 bucks each) and a dessert came to around 27 bucks and this is AFTER the five buck Unilocal check-in discount. Probably wouldn’t go back except to try a lunch special. Service was friendly and efficient, no problems on that end. This is a chain restaurant out of Nashville I think. If you like sushi and Japanese, you might enjoy it more than I did, but they should not be classified as Thai.

Our first visit to fulins. The food is very good. Had a cup of hot and sour soup. very good flavors. Next had spicy tuna sushi and requested brown rice. Next I had eggplant. Had a nice kick. My friends had chicken and broccoli and Kung pao chicken. Both very good. Excellent service and great atmosphere.

Ok the sushi is huge and amazing. Their prices are pretty decent but the food was AWESOME. I had the yummy yummy roll and also tried the tiger roll. Both were great and it was a bunch of food. No need to order 2 rolls– both times I’ve taken home left overs.

We ate there for the first time this evening and it was awesome! Dishes were well prepared and the presentation was great, too. We will definitely be repeat customers!
