In the past I’ve always had a great experience at Elidio’s, but after my last experience I will never return. The owner is not only rude to staff, but customers as well. Several orders were wrong during my visit and the staff is not trained appropriately. The owner was cranky and unaware of how to use his card machine. NOMOREELIDIO’S FORME!!!

I love this place. Reasonably priced, pizza is great(the kids love plain cheese) and NY style for those of us who can’t stand the thick crust kind. The owner is usually there making the pizzas — simple, quick and no nonsense. I usually get the pie to go and sometimes double up to have day two meals. It’s worth it!

I’m fighting with the urge to rate this place a 3 instead of a 4 because of a sin they committed with the Spinach Calzone I ordered where they used canned or frozen chopped spinach instead of fresh. The saving grace was the Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza which was terrific.

Very simple: Really good New York style pizza at a really good price. I’ve been eating Elidios ever since I was in high school and they were in Knoxville Center Mall. That’s been a very long time(over 20 years). They have really good specials. Pizza is best when it’s fresh from the oven and not just warmed up. That is my only complaint.

We had a large pizza with spinach and mushrooms. The crust was perfectly cooked. The pizza was just the right amount of chewy and crunchy. The flavor was a little bland. I’ve never seen a pizza with so little sauce. They used fresh spinach but the mushrooms were definitely canned. Definitely a more authentic big city northeastern pizza than the pizza chains. The place is busy with a lot of repeat, mostly takeout pizza business. Would definitely come back. It’s not Brooklyn NYC but pretty damn good for Knoxville. Note, Counter service only which was unexpected…

Had pizza here several years ago and I loved it! Back in Knoxville now and so glad I was able to find it again and can’t wait for my next slice!

Great place and great New York style pizza. This place used to be at East Town Mall back in the day and moved years ago and was replaced by a terrible pizza place called Sbarro. The only complaint is they are a little far from my house. Cheap prices and great pizza. The owner, his employees, and the place are very nice. I do not understand why people complain about how the pizza has grease on the top. It is supposed to, that is one of the trademarks of New York Style Pizza. If you want good pizza go to this place.

Just picked a random restaurant off Unilocal for lunch yesterday, boy am I glad I chose this one! The crust was crisp and airy, the prices were great, and the people were friendly! So good, I ordered a pizza to take to my sister! Definitely going back again!

Great pizza… best in Knoxville. You can by pizza by the slice, which is something Knoxville is greatly lacking. The only thing I don’t like is that you can’t get a plain cheese calzone, just Spinach or Ham. That to me is odd and plain cheese should be offered over the other two choices.

I’ve known the owner for years! I remover when I was a kid he had a pizza place inside east town mall! After 10+ years since I moved I came back to Knoxville and after reading some reviews on here I decided to try it. Little did I know it was the same pizza. After ordering a pepperoni pizza and when I Began eating it brought me back to my teen years! Loved it! It was fresh and could really taste the quality in the pizza itself I can tell it was make with lots of love!

Great little local mom and pop pizza joint. I’ve had their pizza, subs, and calzone and you just can’t go wrong with any of it. The pizza is a thin, almost foldable type crust so I would recommend you keep the toppings to a minimum. Anything more then 3 or 4 toppings might be more then you want on this thin crust. They have a daily special of 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a drink for $ 5 and the slices are a decent size. Their subs are probably one of the better values around. For around $ 5-$ 6 you get a very nice size sandwich on decent bread. Tastes great and very filling. If you’re a light eater this is easily two meals. The dining area is reasonably clean and the place is generally doing some business but they keep things flowing so the wait is short regardless of what you order. Good food. Good prices. Fast service.

Anytime i want pizza this is where I go. i won’t say it’s the best pizza in knoxville, because that’s a subjective statement. However if you do enjoy your pizza thin and loaded with fresh toppings then this is your kind of place. The owner is old school so you may not get much chit-chat, but that giant pizza will be out of there in no time. This place does close fairly early, opens at around noon and is closed on sunday. As far as pricing goes it’s going to be a bit higher than most things around it, but on par with places like Davinci’s.

Love love love this pizza! It used to be called something else when it was at East Town Mall years ago. I thought they were gone for ever, but they popped up on Central and I was very excited. Just get a pepperoni pizza. Keep it simple. It’s awesome. And if you can eat it there do it. It’s much better right out of their oven.

All I can say about this pizza is OMG. The bottom of the crust is light and crisp. The end of the crust is nice and chewy. The cheese covers the sauce, but the cheese-sauce equilibrium is held for every bite you take. They sell pizza by the slice, which is what every established NY pizza joint does, and the prices are very reasonable(about $ 2 per slice and a drink should run you no more than $ 1.75). From the mouth of a man born and bred in Queens, NY, this is a REAL pizza joint. But if you want even better, I’d try Dazzos in downtown Knoxville(hence why I’m bringing the stars down from 5 to 4).
