Super friendly staff (Ron and Joseph are great to work with), well organized and clean store. I’m installing a 6′ H x 14′ W IKEA Besta wall unit in my den, and the staff at Elder’s Ace Hardware listened to me describe and sketch my project. The Elder’s staff then helped me pick the appropriate screws and hardware while taking into consideration the baseboards, wall-​mounted TV, and other details in my den.
Elder’s has a large selection of screws, brackets/​braces, and other construction necessities. They also sell 2″ x 4″ x 8′ wood boards and Benjamin Moore paint.
Best of all, Elder’s is extremely convenient for individuals living near UT, Sequoyah Hills, or Bearden.

This place is great. Pretty much as soon as you walk in the door someone is there to help you. If you know what you need they quickly just tell you the aisle and leave you alone. If you need more assistance, they will walk you through the entire purchasing process and even give you suggestions.
I didn’t really notice the price being too much different but for the service I would be willing to pay an extra little bit.
