Pizza has not been cooked enough in my opinion. Almost soggy. Delivery is out of the question. Ordered it twice and they messed it up both times. Customer service fixed it, but still it isn’t that hard. Pizza combinations are tasty. White pizza, taco pizza. Needs to be cooled better and I’ll just come pick it up next time.

Our first time here. Customer service was great. They checked on us several times to make sure everything was good and we didnt need amything. Pizza was very good. The salad and dressing was great! My only complaint is that toppings were 75 cents each and skimpy. Crust was very good. We would return

Grading the pizza and delivery. Quite mediocre. I’ll start with the good. Online ordering is a plus. Saves me having to repeat myself multiple times due to noise in the background. Delivery was quick and correct. And the email updates confirming receipt of order and when the driver left is very nice. The pizza itself was nothing spectacular. It was fine; wasn’t bad, but I’m not looking for«fine» if I’m dropping $ 30. Also got the parmesan garlic wings. Maybe the most bland wings I’ve ever had.

Since this place opened, I’ve become addicted. Every time I enter, I’m greeted. Dining in is great. The servers check up on you & make sure everything is okay. There’s televisions constantly playing sports. Prices are decent, especially since they offer more than just your average pepperoni pizza. I only wish that the place had more table seating. Recently, I learned that they also deliver, so I gave it a try & my pizza arrived a bit earlier than expected, which my hungry stomach appreciated. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a new kind of pizza to try.

Slow service, waited for over an hour, and lost my order. But I did get my pizza for free after having to go talk to them. The pizza does taste delicious so that helps but the service was not good and did not pay attention to only a few customers in the seating area. I will not be coming again any time soon.

Haven’t been in to Brenz, but I’ve ordered it online. Two of us got breadsticks, five wings, and two pizzas, Tres Amigos and Buffalo Chicken. The Tres Amigos was pretty fantastic. The carne asada was flavorful and shockingly, the avocados atop it were still ripe. The Buffalo Chicken was also quite good. It wasn’t very spicy or riveting, but the cheddar was a very nice addition. The bread sticks were huge and pretty darn delicious. The only down part was the wings. They were perfectly cooked and absolutely massive, but the flavor was almost non-existent. Pretty disappointing. I have no clue how the store service was, but the order arrived within 25 minutes of me placing the order. Until Tomato Head delivers, I’ll be ordering from Brenz pretty often.

Went with a group. Food and service exceeded expectations. Fiancé had pep and cheese individual pizza and said it was really good and the peps were crisp. It was filling and satisfying. I had the large Greek salad with homemade Greek dressing and it was tasty! It’s a little on the higher end of cost but the quality is there. I’ll go back for sure!

Good pizza way overpriced. Try the tres amigas but come on your basically on a college campus your prices are horrendous $ 17 for a 12 inch pizza i could have finished by myself. This is pizza and its easy and cheap to make. Ive seen a lot of deep dish pizzas in chicago and even knoxville for the same price but bigger.

Brenz Pizza is EASILY the best pizza in this part of Knoxville. As a college student, I’ve suffered through plenty of bad pizza. But Brenz is not that; Brenz pizza is fresh, made to order, and delicious! Reasonably priced, I would highly recommend

For me a restaurant ‘Coming Soon’ sign is almost as good as knowing Santa was coming as a kid. And just like most relationships in my life, the build up is almost as good as the actual experience. And much like a new relationship, you cyber stalk the menu so you know what to expect before you ever walk through the door. You know that the new staff will be on their best behavior as managers keep a close on everything that goes on while on their watch. These are those sweet, sweet moments when everything is supposed to be perfect. And if they aren’t perfect, you are so blinded by the good that you can overlook the red flags that you’ll look back on wondering how you could have missed. This is the bliss that I expected when I walked into Brenz Pizza for the first time. The restaurant looks great. I dig the modern renovation. After walking by this place for years when it was abandoned, it’s hard to believe it’s the same space. But I was surprised at how empty it was inside. But then again, campus is dead during the holidays. We walked up to the counter and were greeted by a sweet cashier. She was friendly and helpful. She let us pick her brain about some of her favorites. As we waffled between a couple of options, she let us know that we could select any 2 specialty pizzas and order our single pizza ½ & ½. She did fail to mention that there was an additional cost for this, which we realized later after we’d sat down and double checked the receipt. While we waited for our pizza, we observed. There were more employees than customers, but the only person who ever spoke to us was the cashier who took our order. No one. Not the owner who sat directly behind us or the manager who milled about the restaurant. Nothing. Not even a ‘goodbye’ or a ‘thank you’ as we walked past them on our way out the door. And finally, it was pizza time. We ordered ½ BBQ Chicken(Ranch, cheese, plus Cheddar, chicken, bacon, onions, BBQ sauce, and pineapple) and ½ Spicy Hawaiian(Red sauce, cheese, ham, capicola, bacon, pineapple, and jalapeños). As we started to dish out the pizza, we realized that we were never given plates. We had to hunt someone down, which shouldn’t have been a chore in a restaurant with only a few customers. Once we had our plates, we looked forward to diving into some ooey-gooey goodness. Our first impression of the pizza was pretty lackluster and our first tastes confirmed our suspicions of a ‘meh’ experience. We were disappointed that our ‘Spicy Hawaiian’ was missing the the one thing that makes it spicy(no jalapeños) and didn’t even realize the ranch was missing from the ‘BBQ Chicken’ until typing out the description in this review. The pizza itself was fine. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. Again, just meh. Overall, we had a few annoyances with our meal but there was nothing to say ‘I’ll never go back’. On the flip side of that, there was nothing positive that stuck with me to make me say ‘I can’t wait to go back’. Knoxville has some great pizza options. I just don’t think Brenz has what it takes to keep up.
