I don’t think I’ll be returning here. I went during a «sale» they were having. When I went to check out they told me the only way to get the discount for the sale was to join their rewards program that was more than the price of my books. I was also signed up for magazine trials I was told were free. Upon inspecting the receipt I found out that my card was put on file to be charged if I don’t cancel. Thanks books a million!

Have been a customer here for 2 years, No more. I spend a few hundred a year in this store and the one time I ask for them to price match target on a Harry Potter set I was told go to target if you want them cheaper. Won’t be back.

Finding bookstores that actually have books in them are getting fewer and fewer these days. I always choose this store for its selection of books and other accessories that make for getting some good gifts a one-stop shop. They have redone the layout a couple times but its current setup is more spread out and easier to navigate. It seems more obvious to me based on the signs and items laid about where you need to go based on what you want. If your a book lover, fan of nerdery or need to find something for a quick gift then I recommend.

Bookstore itself is fine & employees are very helpful. However, the ladies room is awful. Old, smelly, and absolutely NO way to dry your hands after washing. No paper towels. No dryer. Ridiculous! A little update BAM would be great!

Surprising big but slightly dull looking on the inside. I love their budget tables!

Books-A-Million is awesome, simply for the fact that they have a LOT of rare-ish books here that would otherwise only be found online, and also because their manga selection is out of this world. In fact, there’s actually a little area around the manga and comics for people to hang out, whether it’s discussing comic books or playing D&D or something. It’s hilarious., and always has plenty of teenagers hanging about. Otherwise, it’s usually pretty quiet in there. Granted, compared to Barnes and Noble and Borders, it doesn’t really have an artsy ambiance(though they do have a coffee shop like the other two stores do) But, it has SOMANYEFFINGBOOKS. Seriously! It’s almost like the new-and-not-used version of McKay. It’s quite cheap, too. If I didn’t know what I was looking for and had to choose a bookstore to browse, I’d choose BAM based on selection alone.

What a huge bookstore! I wasn’t expecting much when I walked into here. I was expecting a discount bookstore with not much too offer regardless of the name of the store. But I was surprised! There probably are a million books in there! It’s not your Barnes and Noble or your Borders that usually has a good amount of people lounging around, flipping through pages, while enjoying a good coup of coffee. It was pretty deserted when we walked into here. I guess wehn you have such a large store it’s a challenge to give it that warm, friendly, and comfy feeling you get when you walk into those bigger named bookstores. But regardless of that this store has a great selection!
