Pollo Tropical

I absolutely love the food anytime… BUT, I’m getting really really tired to come home with half of my order. It’s always missing something today was the dessert for my kid, I am not coming back there to get it as its raining and I’ve other things to do now.
Please just pay more attention to that. Especially last time it happened I called and manager refused to give me his name, told me to come back and «they’ll just give me what I’m missing»… So professional :-/​
Anyways will remain a customer of PT but not this one I’m sorry it happens every time.

I wrote a bad review for this restaurant but I made a mistake as the location I went to was in Kissimmee. I have no idea if this location is better but I would not like to leave a bad review for somewhere I didn’t go to. Sorry guys.

We all enjoyed the he meal. Stars are according to price bracket. Easy in and out. Easy to understand and choose from menu. Food delivery of very fast food was very nice. We had, chicken, ribs and pulled pork all were great. Pork fatty, makes it tasty but not healthy. Chicken looked great. We enjoyed the many sides and Amazing sauces. I wouldn’t recommend corn soufflé. Get the salad just so you can top it with the garlic cilantro dressing. Mango juice super fresh tasting. We’ll keep pollo tropical in mind in other areas when we need a fast meal.
My update on this… 15 minutes later… I got really sick! Started in my head overall feeling of major sickness… ½ hour later I got nauseous. Spent the evening trying to sleep off stomach sickness. Woke still super sore. The other 2 in my party didn’t get sick

Good food at a good value. If you are dining with another person, consider getting the ½ chicken rather than 2 ¼ meals and asking for a 2^nd plate.
Love the plantains and the sauce island. Definitely try the pineapple run sauce.

Stopped in during my lunch hour. They took my order quickly which I really liked. Once I got my order the presentation of the food was great and the flavor was incredible ! Will come back in the future.

We stayed near here, and were interested in a healthy meal at a reasonable price, and this certainly fit the bill!
The grilled chicked is as good as any I have ever eaten, at any price, and this was cheap, cheap, cheap. The salad was very fresh, and the condiment bar had numerous outstanding items. And the employees were extremely friendly and helpful.
5 star ratings rarely get produced by my keyboard.

I love eating here, and though it’s constantly busy, the city should come and have a look at this facility. I have stopped coming because it looks filthy. I have a five year old and kids like to use the bathroom all the time. It’s so dirty, I have to stop eating and drive home. It kills the whole eating out vive. Differs from the whole purpose. The food is great, but only if you order in large proportions. If you order family sizes, then you get a great deal of meat. But if you order the personal meals, the meat choices are very small. I don’t know if it’s a gimmick make you order more. It’s discouraging, and for those issues I haven’t gone back.

I love the vegetarian tropi-​chop with brown rice and all the toppings. It’s my mainstay when I don’t want to cook and very reasonably priced. If you are vegetarian, order black beans. The red beans have beef broth on them. The guava bar is also delicious.

I came to Pollo Tropical — chicken on the grill, for dinner. I had the Tropi-​chop with finely diced chicken, tomatoes, corn, yellow rice and vegetables. So delicious. I pored some pineapple rum sauce and curry sauce into my food. What a great taste, we also had waffle fries that was not to good. The place was clean and the service was polite. Great meal for a low price. It’s better then your typical fast food joints.

I speally recomend the combos since they’re as convinient as a fast food place but made with real ingridients and with the drink, fries and sandwhich is only $ 5 total! Even at Mcdonnalds a chicken sandwhich would be 7 and its much lower quality. I recomend the garlic cilantro sauce with anything you order– its amazing.

I always get the tropichop with the Mojo Pork… The cilantro garlic sauce is amazing.
It’s always busy… The place usually looks like a bomb went off, you’re lucky to find a clean table to sit at…
But it’s worth it IMO for the yummy food!
Fast food but way better than KFC or mcdonalds, and I’m not Latin!

Get anything with the spicy poyo poyo sauce!

BBQ Chicken and Pork tasted Good.
Mac N cheese, was good, nice cheesy flavor.
Brown rice, you can skip
Red beans pretty good.
Cesar salad you can skip, but there is almost nothing with fiber on the menu. so if you like being constipated, just eat meat, rice and starch.
Rolls that come with the family dinner, eh. no squishy or fresh. totally ignored them after one bite.
Anyhow… service. not good. Slow.

I went here originally for the fried yucca with garlic.
I thought i ordered it with my original order, but it wasnt ordered.
then I ordered it seperately. Ok. 2 minutes
then the employee informs me that the deep fry oil was too dark, so it wasnt very good. so i got the steamed ones. flavorless.
Fast food places need to replace deep fryer oil in between lunch and dinner to be prepared. its supposed to be a signature item for this chain right?
In any case, we ate the food, and packed up the leftovers, but i wont be rushing back anytime soon.

If roasted chicken and pork is your idea of a good meal, this is the place for you. It is clean, the food is good (Puerto Rican Style) and the staff is helpful if the extensive menu confuses you a bit. The Yucca is great! The also have wonderful outdoor seating in front.

This place is like a KFC spanish style. Love that they have different meats and tons of sides to choose from. the drinking fountain selection is good cuz they have mango iced tea. I tried the ribs and pork bbq sandwich — awesome. also liked the chicken wings. love the fact that they have tons of sauces to choose from as well. the silantro garlic sauce was off the HOOK! place looked pretty tidy, but the bathroom needs work. Overall, very good place to eat. I’ll probably try everything on the menu as long as i’m in Orlando.

Hubby was raving about how good this place was so I wanted to see what it was all about. He described it as a KFC but «Puerto Rican Style» We ordered the Family Dinner: a Whole Chicken with Roast Pork, white rice and beans, fried yuka, and sweet plantains. This place is delicious! There chicken was really good and juicy, the pork was tender and flavorful and the sides were good! The fried yuks reminded me of french fries and the sweet plantains were my favorite! I wish they had this on the West Coast!
