Cool spot yes. Worth a hour wait after using call a head dining no. The atmosphere was very cool and the food was good. I had the porterhouse and my girlfriend had the filet. Both were very good, as was the mac n cheese. My only knock is the extremely long wait. It is a popular spot, no doubt, but a system of reservations or more tables would help. I would reiterate the food is good, my only knock was the wait.

A three star average is exactly what this restaurant deserves. Came here for dinner last night as a group of 6. Waited 45 minutes for a table even though the restaurant didn’t seem overly busy. Once we sat, we had a very nice waiter named Rob and it was a nice touch that the manager, Vern, also came by to introduce himself and welcome us to Manny’s. We started with the endless salad bowl for the table which was excellent. Unfortunately, things got worse from there. We waited an hour, yes an hour, for our entrees to come out. Thankfully, Rob apologized and explained the kitchen was very backed up. Vern also came over and apologized giving us a percentage off our bill. Rob threw in free dessert. I felt bad for Rob as it didn’t seem to be his fault. Once the food came, it was just meciocre. Steaks were cooked properly but just ok on flavor. The Garlic smashed potatoes were average. My grandma reported her french onion soup was the worst she’s ever had. However, the desserts were incredible. I wish we would have skipped straight to the huge chocolate sundae, carrot cake and chocolate cake! Also, the coffee tasted old and was less than desirable.

Place was the WORST! They had a young girl answering the phone didn’t know the specials and told me 2 hour wait with a RUDE attitude !! So I drive by and see nobody? I go inside and see maybe 5 older people waiting and open tables ?? Seen at least 6 booths and 2 large table tops open? She said 2 hour wait so I play her game and say OK she replied with Your really going to wait? Then I ask for manager Waited another 15 mins tell her again I’m waiting for a manger !? One appears from the back and told me a simple sorry! We visit Haines City a lot but this location is closer to our home. Manny himself would be disappointed on the service they are providing and representing !! The staff has a total attitude ! If you don’t want work go home!

I was on a trip, and we couldn’t decide what to eat, until we finally decided to give this place a try because it was late, we were exhausted from the Orlando parks and it was right across from our hotel. so we said WHYNOT. and we were pleasantly surprised. we were attended by Wendi M. She’s oh so very sweet, and the Ribs were absolutely TODIEFOR! They are a must, so tender, delicious. you won’t be disappointed. Would definitely return here when I travel to Orlando.

So, I love Manny’s. I’ve been to all of them except the one in Lake Wales. This is the newest one and I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I think they still have a few kinks to work out. If you don’t know about Manny’s here is the deal. The steaks are awesome and the prices are reasonable. Is it a Ruth Chris, Shula’s, Morton’s, Charley’s, or Capital Grille steak? No. I love all of those steaks, but those steaks also cost $ 40. This steak is $ 12 and darn good. So, when you want a good steak, but don’t feel like having a $ 60 pp dinner, this is the place to go. Last night, I met up at this location with a group of friends. The food was awesome as usual. My steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The rolls here are little bites of heaven, especially with that cinnamon butter, and endless salad? Sign me up. We also tried the chips and salsa last night. They weren’t really my cup of tea. The flavor of the salsa was good, but too chunky for my liking. The chips were too thick for me, almost Dorito like. Anyhoo, we had called ahead to put our name on the list. Manny’s does NOT take reservations, but you can call ahead to reduce your wait time. We were a party of 6. We arrived at 6:15 and were quoted a 20 min wait time. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some Happy Hour cocktails(2 for 1). At 6:45 our pager still hadn’t gone off so I went to the hostess stand where they told me they had paged us and we didn’t show up. The pager was sitting on the bar in front of 6 people. I think we would have noticed if it had gone off. Additionally, it’s not like we were out of range as we were 15 feet from the hostess stand. They apologized and said to give them a minute. We were finally seated right around 7pm. So much for our 20 minute wait. We placed our order at approx. 7:15. Our server brought out our chips and salsa and salads first. We ate all of our salad and he never brought bread. We asked for bread twice before receiving it. We ate 2 baskets of bread. Then we waited. So, we ate an appetizer, 2 bowls of salad, and 2 baskets of bread, and sat there, and sat there, and sat there. Our steaks finally show up around 8:20, a full hour after we ordered. Meanwhile other tables had literally come and gone. All of our food was good, but the wait was kind of ridiculous. Our server was also slow to bring out extras like guacamole, and extra butter. All in all, we arrived at 6:15 and left at 9:10. I’ve never had a 3 hour meal at Manny’s. What the heck?! Now the manager did come by at the beginning of the night when we first sat down, which I really thought was great, but he was nowhere to be found when we were waiting on our food. The food is still fantastic and the prices are great, but again I think it is because this location is new, they aren’t as on top of it as the Haines City location.

Well comparing it to the Haines City location, I wanted to like it. I really did. But wow was the service bad. Did call ahead seating. Got there and half the restaurant was empty and told it would be a 30-min wait so we said okay and waited. Thankfully it was only 12 minutes and we were seated. Waitress eventually came over and almost tried to persuade our party of 3 to move to a smaller booth so she could have the larger one for a larger party but we were already settled and declined since that’s where the hostess sat us anyways. A friend ordered French onion soup which I will say did come out promptly as well as the rolls. But the rolls. Omg. I’ve attached a picture. They were literally like pancakes. Quite a pathetic excuse for rolls compared to what I know the other location produces. We actually laughed at how ridiculous they were. No substance to them whatsoever. The most annoying part of the whole experience? Our salad came AFTER the entrees. I didn’t know salad was now a dessert. Waitress didn’t even say anything once she finally brought the salad. No apology for it taking so long or the fact that it came out after our entrees or anything. My friend ordered the chicken tenders. She also asked for bleu cheese when she ordered the meal. Of course the meal came out with no bleu cheese. It took over TEN minutes to get some & obviously by then the meal was cold. We couldn’t find our waitress anywhere so we asked another waiter to get her for us. He too could not find her at all. She then comes out to sing happy bday to someone and take some other folks orders. I thought the guy would have just grabbed the bleu cheese for us but no such luck. Also the tenders looked and tasted disgusting. They were basically all breading and burnt. Again with no apology from our server for the lengthy time to get what we originally ordered. Also aggravating was the fact that we couldn’t see a single manager in the whole restaurant the whole time we were there anywhere. If you’re going to have a new restaurant I would think it would be beneficial to do what almost every other restaurant does regardless of how long they’ve been in existence and have a manager walking around to each table asking how everything is. This would be a great chance to get feedback and find areas of improvement but that obviously was lacking in this location. Only reason this review got two stars is because my own actual entrée came out correctly and tasted fine but the lack of salad and pancake rolls really did it for me. Step it up Manny’s. You could also benefit from having someone reaching out to the multitude of negative feedback left on social media to hopefully restore some of that lost business this location has generated. UPDATE2⁄17: I came back here AGAIN to give y’all another shot. Big mistake. It was just myself this time. I ask the hostess about ToGo orders. She said they’re placed at the bar. Okay. I find a seat so I decide to dine in. I wait. And I wait and I wait. Over 20 min. Yes the bartenders were busy, however I’m sitting right in front of them being completely looked over and they continue taking the drink orders of people standing AROUND me that arrived well after I did. So obnoxious and rude actually. No employee ever even acknowledged me or the lady sitting next to me that showed up shortly after myself. Not only was it aggravating that I couldn’t even place an order but you probably have the rudest employees I’ve encountered at a restaurant and I see by the reviews nothing has changed since my last visit. It’s unfortunate that a Manny’s has opened so close to my residence but it’s such a joke that they may has we’ll never even opened. Take some consideration for the reviews on here because as of now it appears management(or anyone working there for that matter) couldn’t care less.

Went in as a party of 15 and got turned away because«there are rules that state they are not able to seat big parties». My family and I have gone to the Haines City more times than we have been able to count and we have always gone as a huge party of people and have never been turned away. When we finally gave up on our chances to eat here we pass by this table with about 20 top in an empty room. Complete BS and we never receive business from us again or any other big party.

We haven’t ever been to the famous original Haines City location. So I didn’t have any other Manny’s to compare this one to. My review is based on this location alone. The good news: even though the place was packed at 5:00 on a tues night, we thought the service was quite good. Our server, a female Erik(?) was training a new girl, Barbie(?). She did a great job attending to our needs. The«early-bird» selection of $ 9.99 entrees is a good deal. The bad news: my steak was tough. Cooked medium rare but it was chewy. My wife’s country fried steak was tiny. Also her smashed potatoes did not impress her. One diner with us thought his prime rib was mediocre at best. Endless salad with blue cheese dressing — dressing tasted more like mayonnaise than blue cheese. The average news: one eater with our group liked her ½ rack of ribs. Our appetizer of quesadillas was pretty good. Yeast rolls were kind of ugly(sort of smashed flat) but they were tasty. So compared to the other local chains, Roadhouse, Longhorn, and even Miller’s would rank higher on my scale. I always end up getting nasty steaks at Outback, so I’ll rank Manny’s better than Outback, Applebee’s, and Ruby Tuesday. This is a new location. Maybe time and practice will give them the quality reputation that the original Haines City Manny’s has earned.

We started with a rocky start with seating after that it was smooth sailing our waitress Alesha was a rockstar! The manager Rachel cared about our input! We got a free appitizer for joining the eclub we got the loaded fries. The steaks were cooked to the temperature ordered our group ordered the porterhouse and sirloin baked potatoes were fluffy. The desserts are sharing portions the cheesecake is rich and creamy the brownie overdose will send you into a diabetic coma! We are locals and will be returning!!!

Drive to Haines City. I would give the Haines City location 5 stars any day of the week. I have tried this place on many different occasions. I have had burnt to a crisp steaks, dirty silverware, they do not bring plates with the rolls, and very slow service. This is Manny’s first franchise-the menu is the same, but the quality is way off the mark. Haines City is worth the drive.

My friend & I dined here last night for the first time. We both never ate this business in its other locations. I heard marvelous things about this business being awesome in their food. I used the Call Ahead Seating system and I thought it was worth it. You just call the restaurant before leaving your destination to provide them a rough time of arrival. Then when you arrive, just check in at the Hostess/Host Desk. This holds your spot in the seating wait list before you arrive. We waited about 10 – 15 minutes at the actual restaurant. Our waitress was awesome!!! Her name was, «Mel.» She was attentive, sweet, kind, outgoing, welcoming, had a positive attitude, and provided us with some of her favorite options here. I ordered Loaded Fries as an App. My goodness this thing was huge! You get about a pound of fries lol. I wasn’t expecting this at all. It was about $ 8 and well worth it. This is a great appetizer to share with a large group in my opinion. My entrée was the Combo platter: 8oz. Sirloin Steak with ½ Slab of ribs. I ordered the Veggies instead of starch. The entrée came with a large bowl of salad with their special homemade Ranch dressing. The salad was your typical Garden Salad with all the other ingredients minced, except the lettuce and cartons. I thought this was very cleaver because it adds flavor and you do not have to take out what you don’t want. I don’t like tomatoes, but with it being minced, I liked it. Our food took about maybe 10 minutes upon ordering. They did not have any Baked Potatoes for my friend, but they gave him fries while they cook the potato. Mel gave him his potato later on when it was ready. Overall experience was perfect in every way: Great food, great service, neat atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I did notice a few negative happenings at other tables while I was here. The manager was dealing with about 3 different guest situations about their food and other issues. Some people left without getting their food. We didn’t have any issues, but other people did. I highly recommend eating here and using the Call Ahead Seating system. Also, this place is very popular, so expect to wait about 20 minutes or longer.

The only reason I will give this restaurant two stars is because the food was good. I go to Manny’s other location quite frequently and the service is the opposite at this location. We ordered a salad for three and when the waiter came around he only brought enough for two plates. We asked for more salad, he did not bring it until 20 minutes later at the same time as our main courses. Once our main courses arrived we had to send them back since they were not correct. We had to ask for the manager about 4 times throughout our meal before we were able to speak to him about our concerns. When we asked the manager Vern what was going on, he confirmed that we had unrealistic expectations… He mentioned they were really busy tonight, except about 1⁄3 of the restaurant was empty. I won’t be returning to this location. The food deserves 4 stars, but the service is 1 star.

I thought the Mine Train ride at Disney was a long wait but I was wrong. This joint has a worse line than that. Even with a reservation I waited over 2.45hrs before I got my entrée. Their excuse was that they have only been open for two weeks but that is unacceptable for a restaurant on 192 with a reputation like Mannys. I will stay away from this new spot but will continue to go to the one in Haines city. I ordered my steak med/rare and after all the wait it was well done. Get your act together people. On a positive note a double shot on the rocks was like 6 bucks, that’s a deal.

Great steak, best onion rings i have ever had. The service is NOT up to the standard of Mannys in Polk Co. Ordered soup. Didnt show up until meal was finished. Wait staff seems untrained in comparison to Mannys other resturants. Good food when you get it. Be prepared to wait on soup for last course with desert. I will not return. I will drive to Haines City orWinter Haven. Should be 3 stars not 5 couldnt edit that part of review

Great food, great service. Atmosphere is a little loud due to the large crowds and high ceilings, but hey — everyone is having a good time. Restrooms are immaculate. Two outdoor areas — one with dining tables, the other a giant gazebo bar — serves mild Central Florida weather well at this time of year. If Manny is in the house when you visit, tell him Bob sent you.

I recommend you go across the street to Texas Roadhouse if you enjoy a good steak. The server was friendly and the restaurant was new and clean.(Although the warehouse type atmosphere made it quite noisy). My steak was good but not great. Ribs had some delicious bites tucked in among bites that were overcooked and hard. The salad was not at all impressive. We say if they went head-to-head against Texas Roadhouse, TR would absolutely win for better bread, steaks and salad. Not horrible, not great.
