Sorry, this is an awful Joann’s. The staff is always bickering with each other and their managers at the cutting table, they are short with their customers… They have been out of Butterick pattern books for over a week and no one cares. Their pattern drawers are always a mess and this store is always unorganized. I had one guy tell me what I was buying wasn’t on sale and when I opened the Joann’s app to show him the ad where it CLEARLY stated my stuff was on sale he rudely said«well, the app is wrong then» NOPE. That’s called false advertising. I wish the other locations weren’t so far from me, looks like I’ll be making less frequent trips and going to the other locations in town. Update: 5 days later and I really needed some thread. STILLNOBUTTERICKBOOK. Disgraceful.

I was honestly blown away by my recent experience at this location on Friday. After starting off at the pattern table looking at the books, I had the pleasure of overhearing the two girls at the cutting table talking together trashing a customer who didn’t speak English. I watched the girl helping that customer be incredibly rude to not only her but her child as well, almost shaming them for not being bilingual. When it came time for me to get my fabric cut I luckily got helped by a different female employee with short hair was incredibly nice and helpful. When I went to check out though, my phone had unfortunately died while in the store. I went to the counter and began to tell my cashier, Michael, about how my phone had died and my coupons were on an app on there and was met with a horrid attitude. What Michael didn’t let me get to was that I was not fishing for coupons but telling him this because I couldn’t afford an(uncut) bolt of fabric I intended on purchasing. Not surprisingly, I was met with even more sharp toned responses. He then proceeded to lecture me on how«if I had charged my phone in my car this wouldn’t have happened.»(I wish this wasn’t an exact quote) I calmly explained to him that not everyone has that luxury unfortunately. My entire transaction was completed with the same rude tone. I’m appalled by this experience. I’ve never been treated as such a burden to a store in my life. I cant even pass off this experience with the excuse of it being close to close and the employees wanting to go home. It was only 630pm. This location was more convenient to me but I will gladly fight the highway traffic to the location on East Colonial if it means I’m treated with respect once I get there.

This store is a great place for fabric, but if you don’t have a $ 5,000+ Husqvarna embroidery machine, they ignore you. Worst customer service ever. My wife just bought a very nice Brother embroidery machine and needed some supplies. The woman behind the counter helped my wife for a couple seconds, then went on to another customer, in the middle of helping my wife. She then proceeded to sign the other woman up for an embroidery class and spent the next 15 minutes helping her out, all while my wife waited. My wife was there for 5 minutes before the other woman came to the store. She needed help and was going to buy a bunch of supplies. We will go elsewhere in the future. Ridiculous.

ONLYGOHEREAS A LASTRESORT!!! Every time I go in here I am reminded of why I hate this store. I don’t have a problem with Joann stores in general, although I do prefer Michael’s, but this particular location is terrible. The people working here are so lazy and useless when it comes to providing any type of help, it is infuriating. In my experience it is nearly impossible to track someone down and I usually end up having to go back to the front of the store for help. Any time I have had a question like where a product is located in the store, whoever I’ve asked has just kind of waved their arm in the general direction they tell me the item«should be if they had it», sometimes sending me on a goose chase for something they don’t even carry. When I asked if an item could be looked up to tell me if they had any in stock, the woman told me the only way would be if they had the code a for the item, and that I could go check the shelf for the code if I wanted. I absolutely hate going to this location, the employees are rude, lazy, and unhelpful; in my opinion there needs to be a major overhaul in the management or something!

This is the best place to let your creativity fly. You can find pretty much anything you may need or want for any craft project you can come up with. What I also love is the amount of home holiday decorations they have to offer and the discounts, man I love the discounts. I can’t remember the last time I left without purchasing something.
