This deli is very good but a little small there are only a dozen or so seats but when I was there at lunchtime on a weekday it wasn’t a problem I ordered a bum steer which is turkey roast beef and horseradish The staff is friendly enough I didn’t have the problem the other reviewer had The gps on Unilocal had the address as the back of the store so that was a little confusing They also have breakfast specials as well The prices are 5 to 7 dollars for their sandwhiches but the beat the heck out of any 5 dollar footlong at a certain franchaise

Good sandwiches but often abysmal service. There have been occasions where I’ve come in to order and waited at the counter while people who walked in behind me have been greeted and asked for their order before I was acknowledged– regardless of the situation, this type of behavior is really unacceptable. I rarely visit because I have at best gotten a lukewarm greeting from staff, even if I greet them in a friendly manner first.

I absolutely love this place for sandwiches. I keep getting reminded every freaking day of my life how ridiculous a person has to be to ever walk into a Subway and order a sandwich. In almost every city, there are a plethora of real sandwich/sub shops all over the place. You don’t have to poison your body with the plastic cheese and old/nasty ingredients they have at Subway. This place is run by friendly and personable Nuyoricans who seem to genuinely take pleasure in feeding their customers and making them happy. I forgot the name of the sandwich I had, but I think it was called the bum steer or something like that. It was huge and came with turkey, roast beef, bacon, and a horseradish mousse that perfectly complimented that combination of meat. They don’t accompany their sandwiches with nasty Lay’s potato chips but actually Cape Cod potato chips which are far superior. It also comes with a pickle and a side of cole slaw. Great deal. It was a delicious and filling sandwich and this is definitely a place I intend to return to. I also tried a bite of the turkey and brie sandwich, which was pretty damn good because, you know, there’s brie in it! But, I liked the bum steer or whatever better. They also have salads and wraps.
