I couldn’t tell if they were out of business or just closed at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night. Their location was absolutely horrible, inside an old indoor shopping plaza with poor signage(the only sign on the road was PAST the plaza… so you have to make several U-turns to get there). I was disappointed, because the reviews made the place sound like my kind of place. But, the first rule of opening any kind of retail establishment, especially a restaurant, is LOCATIONLOCATIONLOCATION. This was one of the worst locations for a restaurant I’ve ever seen. I am sure the rent was cheap, but if you end up going out of business because no one can find you, that is a very expensive cheap rent. It makes me sad for a family owned business that by all the accounts here had very good food.

Had dinner with my family and really enjoyed the pizza, cheese steaks, and homemade desserts! The house special pizza is perfect! Owners treated us like family. Definitely recommend.

My friend and I were craving some pizza, but not run of the mill chain pizza. That’s not the easiest thing to find in Orlando. We found Difabio’s on Urban Spoon, and decided to try it after reading all the positive reviews. When we went to find it, we got super lost. We almost gave up, but decided to call the number we saw on a sign out by the street and they directed us. It ended up being a little door in the back of a building in the MIrada Plaza. We weren’t sure if we wanted to go in, but boy are we glad we did! We got a pizza with the Works, two side salads, and two drinks and spent about $ 20, and we were SO pleased. the crust was SUPER thin and crispy, and the toppings were wonderfully fresh. It was packed with everything we could ask for! The couple who owns the place are wonderfully friendly and welcoming. We were the only ones in the place, and felt right at home. My friend had her 2 year old with her, and they were so sweet to him, as well. Very kid friendly! I 100% recommend Difabio’s, and hope they last, because I’ll definitely be going back, and bringing more people! Awesome pizza, warm and welcoming atmosphere and staff, cheap. Definitely a hidden gem. Try their house dressing on their salad… it’s perfectly tangy and delish!
