Mike Duffy’s Pub & Grill

Just medium on the food and service. Outdoor space is nice but not a top place in kirkwood for food. Great sports bar feel.

I just ate there with a meet up. It is clean spacious and attractive. The service was fast and efficient. I ordered the chili and house
was very attractively presented with colorfull tortilla chips. The chili wasn’t amazing, but it was decent and the portion. was generous. One person had the lasagna and was happy with it. The other had a specialty burger and was happy with it. It was a nice quiet environment, too, despite a full house and many large screen tvs

The pizza reminds me of Imo’s…but better! We always go on Mondays or Tuesdays and get the buy one get one pizza deal. So great!

I wasn’t impressed. I came with my fiancé’s family and it just wasn’t that good. I ordered the half soup/​half salad. I got the house salad. It alright, nothing too exciting. It’s actually not memorable to me, so I don’t think I could even tell you what it consisted of. For the soup portion, I ordered their famous chili. It was not good, straight up. It was WAY too salty. I really like salty things too, I would rather have something savory over sweet any day of the week. This was just not good. The flavor was weird. Maybe some people really like it, but not me, or the rest of the people at my table.
My fiancé really disliked his burger, he said it was so dry… and I could tell, it kind of crumbled when he was trying to eat it. They were having trivia that night we came and they actually really got pretty busy. Maybe we all got the wrong thing, but I don’t think I would come back.
The positive was our waitress, she was so sweet, refilled drinks, and was on top of things. The saving grace of the experience.

As a regular visitor of Mike Duffy’s I can attest to its charm. Its basically a standard pub/​grill that offers all of the classics. However, with its large number of TV’s and its exceptional food and drink specials, its a real win in my book. We usually go on Monday and Tuesday nights, when its buy one get one pizzas.
The happy hour specials are also great. The food quality is ok. The service and atmosphere are good. Its clean and well run.
If in downtown Kirkwood, you would do well to stop in for a pint, or some grub!

Duffey’s is a friendly neighborhood pub. The servers are really good, efficient, and often remember you! Good food nicely presented. Their pizza is excellent, probably my favorite in St. Louis!

We have been so lucky lately… we been finding restaurants with great food and even better Servers …
Today we had buffalo chicken wrap, burgers, chicken sandwich fries and chips.
And Our Favorite Iced Tea…
We had an old Sears buddy join us for lunch which made up four old Sears employees .
No one had any complaints about the food and Karol O. was our waitress and she was on top of her game … you got it, she kept out tea glasses full and made sure we were happy Two Hour Lunch Guys… except we stayed from 11:30 to 3 pm today … yes we cheated and took a three and a half hour lunch…
YES We recommend you go here and enjoy lunch even if it’s only 30 or 45 minutes …

This is a traditional Kirkwood place, full of folks who come back time after time who enjoy the good food and service. Friendly atmosphere and caring waitstaff.

The speakers often sound like AM radio from my 1965 Chevy. If you ask for another channel or a volume-​modification, it’s up to the manager’s discretion.

Well I have to admit… I had a BLT and it was… Wait for it… Average. Yup… A 2.5 out of 5… However my wife had the three cheese lasagna and it was absolutely cold! (May want to tell the chef that’s not a good thing.) on top of that when Our sever must be having a miserable day because when I motioned for her she appeared to rolled her eyes at us… What a way to spread her miserable day… Good news for her that we will probably never be back… And after reading this you’ll probably never walk in. Nuff said!
Update… They took the price of the lasagna off our meal without us asking. Thanks…

A favorite hangout or dinner spot for the locals. Awesome fun for watching sports and drinking beer, or for taking a date to sit outside on a nice day.

Always our favorite location, but when I inquired about using the free toasted ravs check in offer they said that the manager is not honoring it anymore. Also, if you’re out of a side item, the person taking to go orders should definitely know before they answer the phone. Definitely a reason for the loss of a star. Otherwise, always great food and best location

Stumble across this place visiting the farmers market. We like to try different restaurants when possible. I usually look at reviews but in this case was unable. They have inside and outside seating which is nice to have. Server very nice and accommodating. Interior typical of this type of restaurant. Food was hot and fresh. Menu was okay for this type of theme. Overall we were happy with the meals.

Unfortunately a terrible experience last night. Food was less than mediocre as was the server. The situation was remedied but without care or genuineness. Will not return. With the competition they have in the neighborhood now, they should stop acting so blasé.

Was here for for a friends surprise birthday celebration. My first time and all I can say is wow! The service was absolutely tremendous. Rachel and the other servers were beyond attentive. The whole group all complemented at how nice they all were. Thanks for taking care of the customer!

My wife and I have not visited Mike Duffy’s for many years, we did a Unilocal search, this came up so we went for lunch, so glade we tried again, Great burgers, salads, service was outstanding, the best of St. Louis is here in Kirkwood MO.

Too bad this place could be such a cool concert venue, but WTH is the big screen doing behind the band stage, and it had a hockey game playing while band played?! Sad. We were trying to listen to and watching the band play, not TV, was very distracting. Very strange both were playing same time? Weirdest thing I ever seen at a bar music venue. Strange watching guitarist watching big tv only 1 – 2 ft behind them. Change this or turn off stage TV & would become cool place!

Had another family meal at Duffy’s Friday night… very solid. The kids are fond of the burgers and veggies. As for me, I ventured away from my usual bison burger (which is delectable) and tried the salmon. Surprisingly delicious.
Drinks were cold and the server was attentive. Of course, we will be back again and again!

“Eh” is kind of all that I can say, really.
The Fiancé said that this place had good food but he had not been here in a long time… went with his family.
I got the taco salad — and honestly — it was not anything that I could say good things about. Just ‘eh’. As I desperately tried to scoop the taco salad fixings onto these wafer thin tortilla corners (not chips…) that couldn’t hold the salad items. I was struggling!
The waitress did a lot of blank stares at us; we would ask for something; she would just say ‘Ok’ and then disappear before the next person could say anything. They were not even remotely busy, either. Very awkward encounter.
While I was struggling with this taco salad, and the people at our table who ordered the chili were giving me their tortilla chips to use instead, I heard my tablemates saying «Yeah, the food here has really gone down hill. Quality and all.»
Probably won’t be bee-​lining it to go back… ‘eh.

Ya know when you are in kirkwood and you want fries AND fish tacos. some sort of alternate reality combo.
Pick duffys because you want fries more and BAM! Fish taco lunch special… looks like Friday is a Wil day: D
