We stayed on the third floor. There is no elevator. The lobby smells of smoke really bad. Contractors are plentiful. Staff is nice but not a place to stay in you dont smoke.

Worst hotel in Kirksville. For a graduation weekend this place was wholly unprepared. Multiple reservation mess ups, old dingy rooms, and just overall unpleasant experience. Only bright spot was the blond receptionist and manager that tried their best to make it right for us.

If for any reason, you decide to head out to Kirksville, MO… be sure to mark this place down as your Motel pick. Our room was only about 50.00 and we pretty much expected it to be just that, a $ 50 room. Well, we were pretty surprised with this little hidden gem! The folks who work here try really hard to make sure your stay is as good as it can be. They are very nice and welcoming and quick to recommend local attractions and events. Jamie was on duty most of the time we were at the motel and he couldn’t have been more helpful. We were in town to see the Round Barn Blues Festival and Jamie gave us a heads up about the local restaurants and even made sure we knew that some really cool vintage British car enthusiasts would be staying in the motel in case we’d love photos of the old cars that would be in the parking lot. The room is fine… clean and about what you’d expect, with the plus of a hair dryer and vanity in the bathroom… also free fresh ground coffee 24⁄7! There is also a free breakfast(toast, bagels, waffles, cereal etc…) and even a workout room! We are so glad we decided on this motel, and we’ll always stay here when we’re in town from now on!
