First time for us. Excellent service. Lots of folks attending to the table so never had to wait long for a refill of chips or drinks. Food was really good as well.

The food at La Pachanga was great. I had the Grilled Taco Salad and my husband had a combo meal of enchilada, tamale, and burrito. The flavors were authentic, the guacamole fresh and the food hot. The server, although friendly enough, was distracted and busy so the service was eh, but the food did come out really fast and we only spent $ 22 including a generous tip. Although we did not order drinks. If you’re driving through Kirksville this is definitely a good place to stop.

Oh, how I long for La Pa! After moving to the east coast after college, I realized just how good I had it in kirksville. Where else in the world can you get dollaritas?!? Cheap, delicious Mexican food and margs! It’s usually crowded and loud, but it’s always a ton of fun and for the price, I don’t feel like complaints are justified. My favorite plate was the pollo con queso– sooo cheesy and good! La Pa spoiled me, I’ll never find another place so cheap and tasty!

Based of the recommendation of the guy at the rental car office I went to La Pachanga for lunch. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of Mexican food I’ve enjoyed in my travels through the Heartland. This place had great food and really speedy service. Highly recommend this place to others travelling through the area.

The place was recommended to me by a local when I asked her ‘what’s a good and cheap place to have lunch?’ This place provides great Mexican food in all price ranges. Since I don’t like to spend a lot on my lunch so I did find some cheap lunch specials for 5 bucks to kill my hunger. It provides feeling of a typical Mexican restaurant, so not very unique. However they do have some Mexican artifacts and art pieces on the walls.

Very happy environment. Authentic food & atmosphere. Need an excuse to return to Kirksville so I can go back… Save room for dessert

Favorite Mexican restaurant in town– but greasy food. The price is right.

Hands down my favorite restaurant to eat at in Kirksville! Tasty Mexican food, extremely friendly staff… fast too, I mean these guys run from table to table. Drinks and chips on table are always kept full. My personal favorites are the burrito pachanga and the brother’s pizza. Both offer big portions for a good price.

La Pachanga is definitely my favorite mexican restaurant in Kirksville. While I love both, the part I love better in La Pa is the ambience. It’s much more fun than La Fuente. Definitely the place to go on a Friday or Saturday night. The servers are really friendly as well.

The food here is pretty bland. I’m used to spicier Mexican and Tex Mex. The drink specials are good, though. Dollar margarita night is a good value(the drinks are not watered down), which is a good way to socialize with a group. It does tend to get crowded and busy, so get there early for happy hour.

Good cheap authentic Mexican with ESPN desportes on the tv all day. Margerhitas could be better but they have a dollar margherita happy hour on tuesdays that more than makes up for the quality. God I miss that living on the East coast

This place became one of my favorite restaurants in the ‘ville after El Vaquero shut down(illegals working there and drug trafficking, sad). The Burrito Mexicano is very delicious and their margaritas are tasty and well priced. I have had some problems with the service from time to time but the good food and low prices keep me coming back!

This place confused me to be honest. The food was extremely good and priced very well. The menu had decent options but was not as big as Happy Mexican. The margaritas are extremely varied in their strength and their flavor. The restaurant definitely has an authentic Mexican feel but possibly in a place that is a little to small for it. The place feels cramped and it can be extremely loud at times. The service however is all over the board. You might literally have five different people serve you through your meal. I was surprised that they actually got the bill correct. I will say though that the food from this place will either be great all around or great to start with but it will get you later that night. This however will not happen every time. I guess this is where the confusion comes into play.

No Joke this place made the best Chile Colorado I’ve ever tasted, and I’ve tasted it in many, many a Mexican restaurant. I’ve been going to La Pachanga since I began dating my wife and from the first time I walked through the door my heart belonged to their cooks. This restaurant is absolutely authentic to a variety of Mexican styles. We recently learned that the cook hails from Vera Cruz but he’s skilled at cooking everything from Oxacan to Alcupolco to Mayan dishes. They make fantastic burritos, great tacos but the best is their chili Colorado. The sauce is very spicy, the beef tastes like it has marrinated in the sauces for days. Great beans, great rice, fantastic margaritas and real people of Mexican decent serving you. You can’t go wrong with La Pachanga.
